The Plan:
1) G disbands
2) Rabble rises on forums
3) G, IRON, ex-IRON, RZR, TRUST, BoB, ATUK and ASCN rendezvous in Jita. Local spikes above 1K. Red Alliance and friends come. Local creaks under more weight.
4) All undock in rookie ships except for one: Me. In a suicide geddon.
5) I claim total victory over all.

I've had great fun flaming/discussing/more flaming/bit of drunken posting with you guys, and your PvP is second to none! This is truely the end of an era. I haven't agreed with all of your tactics, as i'm sure you haven't with ours, but in the end fights against [G] were always the ones that made me sweat buckets.

That being said, even though I won't miss you I do admit that I enjoyed having you as enemies.
As far as the aside, yes I've been saying it for a long long long time that dreads (and now carriers) are ludicrously skill intensive and break the game (Its become an exponential skill progression). Insted of taking a modest investment of time to get into what you want to do and then get good at it you now have to grind (and I use that word seriously) a bunch of specialties that you may not even want to in order to do stuff. I maintain that the game would have been much much better if dreadnaughts and carriers both required cruiser 4 and were playbalanced as alternative play paths to Battleships.
Allowing people who were interested in siege warfare and battleship smacking to go straight to dreadnaughts, and allowing people who were interested in system control and area denial to go to carriers, with the middle ground occupied by battleships... but noooooooo people whinged that "Battleships were way too common" and thus the new ships were made rare, extremely rare and because they were so rare they were made powerful, obscenely powerful so much so that the challanges provided for them to overcome are simply ludicrous to undertake in anything else.
See who likes living in a universe where pwnmobiles are rare... and you are irrelevant?
I doubt CCP has the stones to fix it, and Eve is not better off.
PRoposal to fix blobbing and make Charisma useful.

I know I should be happy about this but im not. As much as I disapprove of G's arrogence they were way to bad ass to disband.
Maybe my tinfoil hat is on wrong again, but I still don't think G will disband. They will stay right where they are. I've yet to see a good reason for them to disband. To my knolegde they did not have the serious internal problems that iron had. Something does not add up.

I guess this means only ASCN or the LV coalition for BoB to fight. Quick go for ASCN. They seem like a nice fat target. Then after they(ASCN and the only other southern alliances able to put up a fight) are gone, G/IRON will be back to take on BoB again since they dont have to worry about friends of BoB comming to blob them. For now they be mining in empire and wait for the right time to strike back. BoB will probably still beat them but who knows for sure. Yarr!

No real posts from G members, no real explanation as to the reason behind the break up of the alliance. This post seems a little unbelieveable tbh.
so I would think either they arent breaking up and cmd woodhouse is just being a forum troll extraordinaire. Or they are reforming into a single alliance with IRON, which is a bit strange as they were all thought of as one entity anyway by the rest of EVE.
some clarification as to the reason behind the breakup (if there is one) would be interesting.

I havn't had a lot of respect for G as a political entity in EVE (vice versa is true I'm sure) but its been a lot of fun fighting for a while now. I wish your pilots all the best and I hope you guys all end up in corps and alliances you enjoy.

Yes this was expected along with IRON disbanding too.
Flame as much as you wanted. PA was the alliance the centered the stability of the north one way or another. Not because it was militarialy strong or polictically weak in the end, it did stand for a purpose which was scoffed at by everyone around it. Look at things now; in under one month after PA Disbanded the entire northern area went to hell.
It doesn't matter who or how it was caused. G IRON and RZR was all warned this was gonna happen but all was given back was arrogance and pride. Now there is no 'positive' alliance left worth noting of in the north to keep the peace.
I call this year the year of change. many upon many changes are happening that are changing the history of EVE forever. ATUK disbanding with it leaving a power vaccuum open and with them entire alliances are disbanding and remodeling into new alligances. BOB to for all their arrogance is challenging all perspectively all of EVE which will kill them in 6 months if they fight everyone around them.
It is understandable for them to do this because they too was on the verge of internal decay which threatened to destroy their proud alliance because they haven't seen any large action in so long their pilots are beginning to get shifty.
The huge ordeal with the South east conflict on going and things in the direct south are heating up to. This is the year of war and it is upon us all. We got 7 more months to go rearrange the face of EVE for the new wave of young players so :) lets get to killing each other already.
