I would like to get it but you can order the mag only with a credit card and i don`t use them. I pay with another way to play eve and would be fun if they would accept other method of payment.
Maybe one day. _______________________ Recruting

Number three was good. Most of the articles kept up the same standard as from #2, with some being significantly better.
Reiisha's article gets full marks from me. I didn't participate in beta, so I love hearing about the formation of the corporations before launch. Personally, I can't wait for more history, since the next chapter will be from the time I remember.
The chronicles weren't quite as gripping as last time, I must say, but not bad at all. In my opinion, stories chosen for EON should incorporate specific insights into the EVE universe as well as a story. Either that, or tie strongly into one of EVE's big themes.
Suggestions for articles:
I'd love to see something about alliance politics. This relates to the history bit, but it doesn't have to be in that tone. It could be an article on alliance structure, regional control (and comparison between the different regions, with respect to quality of resources and how contested they are) and an overview of diplomatic relations.
I'd also love to see the IC character interviews/bios relate to each other. How about having a dual Jade Constantine/Halseth Durn one, for instance? Or Xirtam/Foyle?
Finally, I'd much rather see tidbits of tactical advice, hints and tips, rather than fairly arbitrary top-ten lists and quotations from Omgrawr.net
The last page is usually a sort of disappointment, to be honest. I'd scrap that whole section and move WDA there, as a nice punchline to end the issue on a high note. ------------------------------------------- "Never underestimate the power of language."

Preordered 1-year subscription equals last copy sent out? The first two issues took three weeks to arrive and I have seen it in a local game shop for sale without additional delivery costs added on top of the base price. I can't say that I am happy with the way this is handled.
Tachy - I appreciate that you have not had your magazine, but as you can see, the magazine is reaching its intended recipients all over the world. When you mail stuff, sometimes, just sometimes, stuff goes missing, and it's pants when it happens to you. I'm not saying this is the case here, but there is no reason for it not to have reached you, other than, as you say, the fact that the first two issues took three weeks to arrive. When we mail the magazine, we mail them all. Nothing is held back, or intentionally delayed.
I am not saying that this is the case with you at all, but you would be amazed at how many people key in their address incorectly, then blame us for not delivering it. Seriously, this has happened on many, many ocassions. If, for some reason, your magazine does not arrive in a realistic period of time, we will ship another one. At our cost, obviously. Just as we have done for everyone else whose copies have not made it around the world, for whatever reason. Right now, there are dozens of people who would like to get hold of issue #001, which has sold out. Right now, there are well in excess of 150 copies of issue #001 stuck in the bottom of mail sacks all over the world, mags that have never made it to the correct destination. Those re-shipped mags would have been available to others, were it not for the ineptitude of mailing operations around the globe.
We have no control, just as you don't, over the mail service in our, or your, particular country. We have endeavoured to improve the front-end mailing operation at our end, in order that everyone receives their magazine as swiftly as possible. Should your magazine not arrive within an acceptable period of time, please email [email protected] with your order number and address, and we will sort you out. In the meantime, I'd be very keen to know which gaming shop you have seen the magazine in, if you wouldn't mind, because we don't distribute it to anyone for further sale. Again, the same email will reach me.

Ok, since you spoke to the Royal Mail people for about a week... What is in their and/or your eyes an 'acceptable period of time'?
If I received issue #1 and #2 can I assume CCP mailed issue #3 to the same (correct) address?

Just got issue #2 and #3, and I am very happy with them both. Excellent source of information!
Is there any other news on EVE Mobile that is mentioned in #2, though? Also, is it just me, or does the cover of E-ON have way too much empty black space? _ It has returned...

Issue #3 was waiting for me when I got home yesterday. Very nice! Even if I had no other reason to keep playing Eve, now I'd have to stay just to see the spiffy new ship graphics...

Edited by: Don West on 19/04/2006 12:54:55 The most important thing about EON, (or lets say one of the most important) about this issue is it mentions a free Ship Sizing Poster(Taken from This Picture) will be provided to anyone who signed up for a yearly subscription to EON between EON #1 and EON #4.
Yep sign me up! As if the magazine wasn't enough, this "Huge Poster" is going to be awesome!
Thanks to Eve-Files for hosting the image, I don't know who orignally uploaded it but I hope eve-files moderators don't mind me linking directly to it.

Hmm, it arrived in northern Bavaria last saturday I believe. The first issue *did* take a couple extra days.
Mostly when mail doesn't arrive in time I've found that to be due to human incompetence, and that includes me for stating the wrong address in at least two cases after moving. But ask your local mailman whether there's a vacation substitute doing delivery during the Easter vacation time. Those can be amazingly incompetent, too.
Unfortunately official lost mail checks can only be initiated from the sending side, and rarely return a result for letters.
Say, what shop would offer E-On locally? I've never seen that.

*rattles the cage*
No EON today. No vacation substitute, same woman as every day. The last two came originally packaged, so it wasn't a post(wo)man reading them for two weeks.
I checked the adress on the last two wraps and it is the correct one.
I talked to the shop owner. He got the two mags directly in London from his brother and is selling them just as a hook into EVE. --*=*=*-- Megadon CCP wanted a well known artist and celebrity to test the new font so it's approval would be well known. They got Ray |

I just got my copy.
It got a nice air mail sticker on it, so it will have been sent out over the past two days, probably yesterday.
First impression: It is definately another EON. High quality print, loads of information about and around EVE. --*=*=*-- Megadon CCP wanted a well known artist and celebrity to test the new font so it's approval would be well known. They got Ray |

I work at UPS while I'm finishing up university and it's no surprise to see magazines get delivered late. Sometimes packages are placed (or more realistically, thrown) in the wrong trailer, ending up thousands of km from where they should be. Wrong addresses are a common sight, and most have to be corrected before they can be sent out (which can take a while if the receiver is hard to get a hold of). Some are left behind for a couple days, either the driver has way too much work already or it just gets lost somewhere.
Most of the stuff gets to where it's going in good time, but I'd say on a given day 10% of everything that comes through our building suffers some kind of snag.
