Whatever role you decided to play day to day in EVE do you pay attention to your character's race, empire, alliances, and enemies? In other words do you RP with the storyline n such or do you forget about it shortly after character creation.
Just wondering where most people are at as far as RP in the game.

a little bit. i dont do missions in my corp space, i go 246546 jumps to do the minmatar fleet ones. and only the republic <something>
for r&d i did some for boundless creation, because i like their ships !!! not fond of thukker mix ones :P

I dont really rp much, i do usually take every oppertunity to make fun of my minmatar and gallante corp mates. :)

If its gallente and minmatar I must kill, I kill them without thought. Mostly just npcs from missions though.... But yea, Caldari ftw!

I think i picked right when it comes to the gallent.
When it comes to me in game as a character, it's the same.
But then in the ultimate, it's allways going to be me, guy that sits behind the screen and does whatever.
Pretty much what the game suits as it is.
Huh, things might change, but ill still never train an amarr ship skill

...hmmm... a little. im not stricti about it, but i try to follow my char's ideals, if that makes sense, in-game, even if i dont do proper rp :)

I pay attention to it in the sense that my character operates well in Amarr and Caldari space, and I fancy myself as somewhat of a Khanid RPer in my spare time.

I really love the gallente race so much so i only fly gal ships.
I genuinely hate most Caldari, their ships(especially raven)and the fighting philosophy they represent.
But other then that I don't actually RP.

It's a contradiction with me - I like the Amarr and Caldari ships, but have the fact that the Amarr are slavers. On the flipside, I like the ideals of what the Gallente stand for, but I don't use their ships and thus don't have much of a use for their technology.
I just don't like the Minmatar as a whole  . Maybe its cuz I kill so many of them  .

I RP to an extent but I wont go entirely into charecter.. I am a Minmatar fanatic and I love thier culture and ships and all that and I even moved from Caldari space where my corp use to be and started running missions in Minmatar space exclusively.. hell I Won't even mine outside of Minmatar space atm >_>;

while i like roleplaying, i don't do it in eve
but even if i did i would certainly not have anything to do with the whole amarr vs minmatar and gallente vs caldari thing, it's getting soooo clichT...
it's like you can't be a minmatar without being an escaped slave (as if there are no babies born in the republic) or an amarrian whitout being a slaver...
as far as i can see most of the rp in eve falls in these stereotypes, with some notable exceptions ofcourse, but on the whole it's just basically the same over and over
no offence to the ppl who enjoy that kind of thing, go ahead and have fun in your own way, i'll do it my way :P

I think I originally picked Amarr because of the description but I never used that to modify my behaviour. The only reason I tend to stick to Amarrian ships is because they don't use ammo. Hmmm. I do also tend to stay in Amarrian space as well but that's because there seems to be fewer 'irritating' people there

i know ammar did use minmatar as slaves, who revolted
but i am not sure about caldari and gallente
do we (minmatars) like anyone actually?

Same but not just through their fighting tecniques(though I do hate misiles), but also the ideals they impose on their own people.

I "roleplay" hateing minmataur a lot, but only because my corp got decc'ed by a minmataur RP corp who is dec'ing pretty much all of amarr space.

Storyline in Eve is just crap,it have nothing todo with whats going on in eve,BoB is atacking every 1 in low space in Amarr ,bob is using blobs against agents runners in yahyerer .Thats the storyline Bob is building every where POSses in amarr low space ,they hope for factions wars so the are prepaired.When amarr will atack them,well it`s bobs storyline not ccps.
Greetings from the station in yayherer where now 30 bobs are in local and 10 agent runners.
