No advice here sorry bud. Try google a few things to see if any sites on it. Normally some good sites that give some good info on such problems . Ill have a look to see if can find any sites and link them here .
Other then that ask your local GP for a leaflet on it. Phone your local Hospital to see a counclor who can talk you through it and good adivce Hmm will post more whn find linkys

No problems. I love to chat with people in need. Not a patient but I just know a few things or two.
How did you get renal failures in the first place? Too much salt or genetic disorders? ---------------- MAY 1st - We love Khatred day. RecruitMe@NOINT! |

According to Biopsys repeated Kidney infections [Local General doctors were incompetent]
Heh good example of there incompetence was this ,........
Felling sick for past 2 weeks getting wors every day one hour before seeing doctor i was running around my home deliberatly bashing my head against a wall to clear my mind [i couldnt hold a thought at all] got taken to doctor was diagnosed with a mental illness.
Got admited to local loony bin after one look at me and 2 minuites with a REAL docktor i was rushed to hospital and diagnosed With KIDney failure.
What really scares me is i was tiold a month after wards that the doctors gave me a 20% chance of surviving the night when i got to hospital.
Needless to say when the local Kidney professor heard My story he sent a REALLY dirty letter to my Genreal Doctor. He even came to my home to apologise PERSONALLY
HEH as you can see i have alot on my chest

Guess kidney problems (e.g. stone in kidneys, etc.) are really the most painful of all pains in a human body. Can understand the need to bash your head to clear your mind coz they do hurt a lot.

Actally it wasant stones basically about a week before hand the kidneys stoped filtering toxins from my blood, So basically on that day my organs were going haywire and shutting down due to being poisoned by my own poluted blood.
Usually your bodys Kidneys Filter out toxins from your blood such as Potassium And Phosphate which is found in all foods.
Because of this im also on a special diet too similar to what say a Diebetic has Exept i have to avoid other foods such as exess potato soupe mushrooms most vegitables etc.

Gooddamm man that must really hurt, lost over 90% of kidney fuction for a week once...Docs had absoulty no idea what caused it, but it self corrected thankfully.
Come to think of it the biopsey they carried out showed no underlying problems.
Keep you chin up bud... ========= "I am not saying there should be capital punishment for stupidity, but why can`t we just take the safety labels off everything and let the problem fix its self |

I know it wasnt stone for you because it is a renal failure. But any problem with renal is always extreme pain. AFAIK, they are the pain of all pains. I thought the main criteria for a transplant is only compatible blood type, no? ---------------- MAY 1st - We love Khatred day. RecruitMe@NOINT! |

They also test for genetic markers from your blood to see how clost it is to your own tissue type. Basically the closer it is the less Immunity supresent drugs you need to take.
Roughly 24 vials of blood tests.
Maybe just loan 1 from relatives? ---------------- MAY 1st - We love Khatred day. RecruitMe@NOINT! |

They'll be growing you a new kidney soon. Recently an American woman had a liver transplanted into her, made in the lab from her own cells thus no fear of rejection. New technology also allows stem cells to be created from an adults own cells, negating the ethical issues of needing to acquire them from a foetus. There's a lot of amazing stuff on the way.
