Frankly I'd rather get back to talking about all the 460's that CCP is putting in. My company is buying a pair of them to host a slew of virtual servers. Unfortunately They won't be chained together, but will be running in different environments.

I am really supprised that they allowed the forums to come up at all. I have always thought that was ccp wisdom as the worst *****ing and moaning always comes durring a patch is unwarented and takes too long to make go away after it happens. In any other game the fourm threads would have been over 60 pages by now and the spam threads oh the spam threads. It would take hundreds of mods just to delete them. I would like ccp to close these forums untill the game goes live before it gets any worse.

Fourth ETA (if you count their typo as one...).

yeah well, still, 1 hour from their current published ETA is no biggie.
i work in medicine in my real job, and when a patient is *dying* and the doctor wants labs done *now* or stat the lab has 30 minutes to draw them, and 1 hour to process them. so, lets just show some patience and think positive thoughts for those poor people in the server room beating themselves up and realize that, when the game does come back....it will be very likely more reliable and faster.

mine still has the old version saying just "UDATE - Tranquility down 09:00 - 05:00" which is a load of crap, they had better let me claim back the lost training time because by the time i get back from work i would of lost over 15 hours.

Well, I'm going to go read a book while Instant Recall 5 trains. If the servers are still down tomorrow, I suppose I'll have to find something else to occupy my free time. I suggest that those of you with nothing better to do continue to whine about incompetent tech support and demand your 43 cent refund for lost game time. (If this generalization does not apply to you, I apologize. It is somewhat difficult to directly indult the idiots who deserve such abuse, since all their posts get locked before I can think up a witty reply)

NEW UPDATE: Tried to log into game and it is saying that database servers are ready but they are having network connection problems. Servers will be up as soon as connection problems are resolved.

UPDATE - The database server is ready, but we are having issues with the internal network connections that we changed in this downtime. The servers will be up as soon as we find the cause of the issues
