What can I say... We got the hobbities!!! Nasty virus if you ask me
All we want to do is sit around the cookie jar, compare the size of our teabags and hope the evil dreads won't enter the cave where the precious lays
AOA, we are now gentle eldery hobbits, remember folks, the Kehraha Clone & stripe bar now offers senior citizen reductions

3 things
1) Drugs are bad
2) Your signature sums up your participation in the war
3) I got a 10 mill ISK fine for posting in this thread

Hmm, guess I have too much time to waist at work today. I'll answer the best I can...
1) I agree, altho it looks slightly out of topic.
2a) I have 2 chars, one specialized in BS long range, one in close range. Wulf has been sitting on the shelf during this war (unfortunately, AOA doesn't have an operational snipping bs fleet).
2b) It was sad to lose my navy megathron signature
3) I think we're on the same boat here

Woo, go mart, back at dysa again, eh.
GJ to Contraband for taking out that blasted POS, that was one flaw in BYDI's attack, we didnt have a dread :(
Granted, AoA will give you some good fights, but mattduck, please refrain from naming previous merc corps who war decced you 'pathetic' and 'lowly', we had fun, and so did you, end of the day is, we get paid for it.
Anyway GL to Both parties involved,
Corsair Thunder (previously of BYDI blood)
p.s. Merc's are not pirates, mmkay? -----------------------------------------------

Corsair, you can't even read my name correctly!
Sorry mate, but it's true... In comparison of the three merc corps that I have engaged this year, Contraband are the best, followed closely by MF, with a chunky gap before you get to BYDI.
Also not, that BDYI (hired by Xenophobes at the time) were also assisted by Xenophobes, Omen, and Systembolaget.
Put into perspective, you had three corporation helping you engage us, and you still did the least damage of all your competition.
I didn't make it that way mate... I'm just reporting the facts as I see them. No offense intended.
Kind regards Mattduk

Too true - we had an ultimatum which I won't go into the details of. But I for one thought "naa, the head honchos aren't stupid enough to kick us - they're bluffing." Turns out they really ARE that stupid .
Edit: whose alt are you btw? --------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes u are right UARM has been kicked from the alliance. I usually refrain from responding in these forums because of the usual flame fest it starts. Ive enjoyed the fight to this point & have learned much about PVP. It has been a clean war hardly any smack in local & the so called spy Scott 345 nice try. We have 24 hrs before the war between UARM & Conin is over & i hope to engage a few of u before the war is over but it will only be next to a UARM pilot.

Employer's terms have been achieved. Another satisfied client!
2006.05.19 22:23 The war between Contraband Inc. and Assembly of Ancients is coming to an end. Contraband Inc. has retracted the war against Assembly of Ancients. The war will be declared as being over after approximately 24 hours.

Lol - seems the employer was someone inside the alliance, wanting UARM out. Strange, but so be it.

Now that this contract is complete, I'd just like to thank AoA for the good clean war, and best of luck to those that chose to remain in AoA and those who have chosen to follow another path. Truely a good group of people |

Contraband conducted themselves well in this war, and proved their worth to their employers. I wish we could have inflicted a little more damage, but was clean war on both sides. The pilots I fought against and with were respectful, and while some of our memebers had a tough time, I personally had a load of fun, and learned a lot.

I had a lot of fun flying vs AoA and would like to thank them for smack free engagements.
Three noteworthy engagements in one night last week are a credit to your alliance. I was alone in my ceptor patrolling the Dysa/Assah pipeline and came across a solo Tech 1 cruiser. I thought ôW1N Easy killö and engaged. A few minutes later an AoA FC came in with something larger that forced me to break off. This happened two more times within the next 20 minutes. Each time the initial target was something that I could kill, but was going to take a few minutes, and each time someone came in to provide a force multiplier that I could not survive alone.
I was forced to fly back less a few hundred missiles and had no kills to show for my efforts.
Good job there and good fights overall!

My personal favourite part in this whole war was probably when either myself or Yish (not sure which one you were after) was followed out of Dysa and through the Assabona system. As we travelled through a couple of gate camping pirates took pot shots at us but we managed to jump through to Irshah safely...moments later one of the gate campers was up on the CONIN killboard. Laugh? I nearly cried.
Not a huge fan of Mercs although I can respect ones as professional as CONIN were during this war (and secretly wish i was good enough to become one....Shh!) but that totally pales to my hatred for those gate camping pirates. Actually had a rush of hero worship for a moment there ;)
Great job guys.

Thanx Worry ... it was my Vexor you engaged the first time around ... I could have tanked you a bit more (hopefully enough for the agreesion timer to ware off) but don't know what would have happened if the allied raven didn't step in on time :) ... I tought I had you in the webs for a second but it didn't work and with the speed you get on that crow tracking is useless ...
It was an excellent fight as was the entire war ... highest regard for all of conin in all aspects of engagement.
