Koth Krakenworth	Posted - 2006.05.08 10:21:00 - [31] Not sure if it's the funniest, but sure was nerve-wrecking (and afterwards funny too!) This time when a corpmate found a dumped Typhoon in a system I went to grab my cov ops with a scanprobe launcher to see if I could find it. It was a very tricky spot, so it took me roughly an hour, and just as when I had saved the SS and warped to an other SS to put my cov ops safely away, what seemed like the owner entered local. I quickly warped back to the typhoon in my pod, landed 15km and started to impulse towards the BS. Just at that time, a shuttle comes on the overview, roughly 20km away. Ofcourse a shuttle is faster, but I managed to beat the owner a few seconds before I managed to board it himself. He could just watch when his former BS loaded with very expensive equipment aligned for warp while trying to smartbomb him and kill him with whatever weapons were fitted. (Not a terribly good fit either in my opinion) Here is a screenshot of the event. Also, when Zincol decided to take his collection of 1000 corpses or so and jettison them all at once was pretty funny too, but not directly linked to PvP I guess. If Zincol would have dumped the corpses at a gate in Jita instead of at a SS in a dead-end 0.0 system I could only guess what would have happened judging from what happened to that empty 0.0 Signature: Complete Image

Redblade	Posted - 2006.05.08 11:28:00 - [35] Loging on just as my corp mates engages some hostiles where one gets out and logs so i head down do scan him in my buzzard, once scaned down i activate my 125mm rail on him while i aproach to get the guys in range and he pops , made a damn funneh killmail Tanking 6 Imperium BS and sentrys for over 3 minutes before reaching the gate so i could jump is fairly high on the list aswell, bigger on the adrenaline scale then the fun factor tho.

Thydon	Posted - 2006.05.08 11:36:00 - [38] not a "real" pvp event, but i loaded up my inty in New Caldari. I decided to warp to agil and log there. My g/f came in stressing me out that we had to go to a party. So i take a shower, still had about 22 jumps before hitting agil. Forgot to set waypoints, so i would directly warp towards my destination bz-0gw. So i come back from taking a shower, the g/f stresses me some more and we leave for the party. I come back home 5 hours later, to find my inty at the bz-0gw gate just hanging about with corpchat of the last hour of people CAPS yelling at me to get away from the gate. I think a couple of alliance mates killed some NPC's at gates for me as well to protect me. They even had a cruiser on watch for hostiles trying to pop me but that guy left after waiting for me for hours. I survived with about 10 BS BPC's, a couple of named items and the rest of my cargoload filled with noxcium. PS : this was in the SA vs POS war, the route took me through HED, Catch, Curse, Feythabolis and Esoteria. I heard later on i passed a pirate gatecamp and some hostiles. Luck FTW !
Master ManiC	Posted - 2006.05.08 12:06:00 - [39] I joined a great Merc corp awhile ago as I fancied a change and to see what the merc life was like..So a contract came in and after a few days of gd hunting I was on my way back to dock in Jita in a caracal as it was a frig n cruiser op i had just finished..and a hostile raven undocks..it was friday night and I had a few lagers..so thought Iad have a go..locked him and opened up..then i quickly aligned..he warps off to a planet..I gace chase and landed on top of him..i had one point fitted so locked him down and opened up again..well he was firing "rockets" and "small rail gun" and had no drones so my heart racing like mad i took him down..turns out he had only been playing a couple of months..but still was funny :)

I get into A .4 sys ( cant remember the name )and there set A ferox whit -7 on the gate and in total I see 7 of the same corp in local but most of em where not -5. so we whent for the ferox ofc and as soon as the ferox was in armor A geddon warps in 10 K from us and starts shooting @ me so I coud kill him whitout haveing senty's on me. when the geddon is in struct A raven warps in and 2 thorax's as well. the Raven starts shooting me as well but I coud only tank for 1 more min so Jin took over. all whit all we killed 2 BS and A ferox and they all came to us 1 by 1 antipirating 4tw !!!!!

Jahah Smith	Posted - 2006.05.08 13:36:00 - [46] I was in a tech1 punisher with a full hold of tech2 small blasters headed back to Hop when in Syndicate i flew straight into a flycatcher and his disruption bubble, was able to afterburn out of the bubble with half armor and warp away. I contacted the pirate and he said to just go on through now as he was logging off in a few min (MAN did i get lucky that day)

Our covert had just logged, and our FC asked for someone to take over target calling. An eagle pilot volunteered, because "they don't call eagles". 2 Minutes later they warp in, and guess who was primary Another funny moment was when I was in AZN with my vaga, I warped to a planet and scanned a tempest closeby. I narrowed it down to one belt rather quickly, and warped to it (around 3au). I fell out of warp and my first thought was that I found a mining op, but it turned out to be a vagabond, an eagle and a scorp and I landed within 5km of them. They must've been just as surprised as me, because I managed to mwd off and warp out, but it was definately a "wtf" moment.

He ****** up as he was within probe range from a planet and soon after we found his Scorp we killed it. His pod warps off and we probe it down as well. We warp in a the pod and put like all ecm only on him.. So here we are having a pod scrambled for like 10 points, webbed at least by 5 ships and being target painted, jammed and dampened. Then.. the guy logs back in... His only comment was like: How g4y, really g4y.. Our ts channel was completely filled with very load laughter for ages. That was hilarious and i have safed the killmail in case i need a good laugh On top of this a corp mate of his showed up in local(logged as well, but in a station)and was told the story, he laughed at him as well.... That almost made me feel sorry for the guy. -- I am not a pirate, i just shoot if i feel like it --

Engaged a target at a gate - it jumped out. I was now flagged so warped to a planet. As it was late I decided I would log as soon as aggro timer ran out and decided to watch TV while I waited. Next thing I know I am waking up on the couch and there is daylight outside - o_0 Anyway I am sitting at the planet in a pod. I check the kill mail - a single lone punisher. I convo the guy in local and he isn't happy. Turns out he had to spend over 70 minutes shooting my Geddon to make it blow up. When he attacked he had no idea it was fitted with 3 x 1600 Tungsten Plates + 3 x Energised Nano Adaptives IIs (passive hardeners with maxed Armor Compensation skill). The poor Punisher pilot had to chew through over 18,000 points of reinforced armor with EM and Thermal resists of +80% and +70%. I didn't feel to bad about the lost ship as the idea of this poor sod spending an hour just trying to kill it made me laugh. Second event that made me chuckle was a recent 1 vs 1 vs Heikki of the Triad. I was in a tanked Apoc and he was in a Blasterthron. I warped to him and landed in a bubble 5km from him. He then proceeded to do some immense close range damage to my Apoc - however I had a web and a multispectral jammer onboard so I managed to get some distance and also got a couple of fortunate jams in which balanced things a bit - but I was still dying. I was on about 30% structure and about to blow when I got a jam in and this allowed me to reduce Heikki to about 10% structure. However the jam timer ran out and my Apoc exploded as soon as Heikki got me locked again. Anyway a few mins later Heikki convos me and informs me that the fight was actually a draw. I asked why and was informed that he had flown his flaming Megathron to a safespot to swap into a cruiser to pick up my loot. Unfortunately for him the Megathron had only been held together by his skills - so when he tried to reboard it he couldn't. He ended up having to destroy and loot his own Megathron up I have to admit Heikki gets kudos from me on two counts. First for having a damn lethal setup on that 'Thron and the second was actually convoing me to tell me that he had lost it and making me feel a bit better --------------------------------- Smiting pirates and terrorists since Sept 2003
hezie99	Posted - 2006.05.08 15:26:00 - [53] my funniest moment was when i was in ASS, and we where trying to kill some big blue members i jumped into there home system in my megathron with about 20 of them sitting there, i managed to warp off without being fired upon and just sat there giggling to myself, either that or when i webbed a gang m8 in empire who wasnt in the same corp and got pwnd from sentrys and concord.

I was in a dual-ab Maller mostly killing frigs and other cruisers. An indy undocks and we open up on him, killing him in an instant. Then a shuttle undocks and I quickly hit approach and that's when I realised that the popped indy had dropped the shuttle and the stupid "board ship" command came out on top of all the commands instead of the usual approach command. I watched my friends hitting the shuttle while I frantically tried to board my Maller but the damn session change thingy wouldn't let me. I even managed to type in gangchat before the shuttle exploded. No worries I thought since everybody got it and I'd just wait until the session change timer allowed me to board my ship again. A couple of seconds later I find myself inside a station.. podded by friendly fire. I was furious at the time but now I find it funny. ------------------------------------------- Boycott Starforce!

AXE was on a Crusier op inside Stain (slowest...moving...Crusier...fleet...ever, but thats a different story) Because of this slow move speed a lot of us had to take a bio break but it would have been dumb of us to go afk of course in the middle of Stain. At this point our FC decided to be evil and started going over TS: FC: "Just thing about waterfalls" Us: "Dammit STFU" FC: "Splish splash" Us: "Die!" etc. after a few minutes of this: FC: "** it I gotta too now" so we divert the fleet to a system with a station in it (NPC controlled stations 4tw) dock, and bloody take a 5 minute break. At this point we really wished we could have just taken the station and named it Axiom's Port-o-Potty. Instead we made the joke about "We came, we peed, we left". out of the fact we didnt get a kill till we were heading toward HED edit: cant say *...so replace w/ pee i guess O.o doh, I broke my edited sig :/* cries this signature was lacking pink, I'll provide it for you. Now, SA is friendly w/ Huzzah but -10 to me. an SA interceptor jumped in from Keberz, and immediately started agressing me. i suppose the big blob of blue around him made him rediculously confident.... needless to say he was gone relatively quickly. "Huzzah don't shoot ISS?" "no..."" "oh. well I found that out the hard way." lo and behold, two minutes later, another brave (lone) SA ceptor pilot does the exact same thing. BAHAH. methinks they need to use alliance chat more often. <><><>

In a mutli-ship battle this guy in a blackbird is charging at my scorp. He launches torps and keeps on coming. He is actually moving slightly faster than the torps so the second volley he launches are right next to the first. Anyway, I'm tied up with the other ships and can't react to the BB other than brace for impact. Oddly he doesn't change course and the fasater BB slams into the side of my scorp and bounces off. Then all those torps hit in a BIG flash of light. When its over I got a little shield left and the BBird pilots sitting there in a pod next to a can. Apparently the splash damage got him. Kamikaze run..BANZAI!

Anyways he jumps ahead of us into a system only to find npcs on the gate. Normally this wouldnt be a problem but for some reason he totally freaks out and starts goin on about how hes gonna die now and stuff. He then commanded everyone to jump in and then proceeds to target call the npcs... I think i missed the killmails because i was laughin so hard tbh ;P
