i don't have alot of info on it, but i believe tq and sisi are the same server cluster thingy majig. so to power down 1 to upgrade it means taking sisi down with it. thats why both are being upgraded i think

val told me sisi is on one server and cluster and tq is on a diff server and cluster

Plus, Sisi's my home, I have no where to live now. Looks like TQ might get a bit of action. Oww well.

sisi feeds off the database from TQ, thus sisi needs TQ to find info about stuff.

Still down till after the upgrades? i see 2 people online on Sisi but i assume they are Dev's or something and when i try to login i get "Incorrect username and password".

Can you all read? And I do apoloigise if you posted before the updated title post was made.
But, th server disk failed AGAIN, and only information from the internal server is on Sisi, so only the Dev's can log in. No Player accounts are on Sisi, hence the "Incorect username or password".

yup and before there are masses of posts to this thread whining, please note that we want people on there testing during TQ's DT. it's good to have loads of people on there but it really isn't possible in anyway to get a mirror of tq onto sisi at this time. it will be possible after the hardware upgrade, which means (if everything goes well) sisi will be back online tomorrow with the TQ mirror

ah well i can accept that sharkbait i understand the basics of what u have said in terms of not being able to mirror while its down (so its off to x3 TF i go) cough its not as good as eve but meh will do my fix.

So does this mean that we will have some nice pop-ups maybe 30 min before shut down saying something like
" To help EVE Online Continue To Be Great We Have Singularity Running. If You Want To Be Part Of The Testing Team Log In By Choosing Singularity From The Server List At Startup. "
much like the popups with the "invaders" server when TQ was being pumped two months ago or so? I personaly think that a pop up like above would really help get some load testing done during the 1 hour DT . even moreso if you put " 100 Isk titans..... AND YOU CAN FLY THEM!" but that might defeat the purpose abit 
PS Thanks for getting sisi back together finally I hope the time it spent a serenity was all for the better.

Sharky, could you make sure to let us know the timestamp of the new mirror. I'm asking because I just had to do a password reset, and would hate to have the mirror be using the old one (which I don't have).
