no the frigs update hasnt been put in yet i assume those updates will come in the next few builds over the next 1-3 weeks as well sa other testing features.
A few months back it was stealth modules (active modules that reduced youre sig radius) a bit like an anti sensor booster module - those were cool but never made it into TQ. (got shelved)

i think thats one thing ccp don't need is players running there own servers lol and it will cost ccp a lot of money to do that anyway

as regards running your own server. the problem with that is to run the server you got to have all the server code which ccp can't really give out, it would be madness, madness i say !!!

Could you imagine the hardware needs for your own server. Probably would have to go out and buy or build a mini-cluster.

Dont think so :O) the reason for the massive server need is purely cuz of the clients, so on could proberly run a single server at home on a dually something, the real problem is with the dba, as that is kinda heavy, but dont know tbh, but thats my guess anyway ;o)

just a quick question here was unsure where to post this so here goes.
Since the last time the test server was up or should i say when we had the hardware test i had 22 mil sp now i have 27 mil sp i was just wondering if our skillpoints have been updated on the test patch as well as our assets and corp ect

basically we want sisi up 3 days ago for testing. we want the build 3906 testing as much as possible and the current problems which couldn't be avoided haven't helped us in any way

I really liked the test server. I cannot get into the server, i read the update and all..but idk. So when can players be expected to play on the test server again?

Is there any blog on the test patch 3906 build to tell us what changes were made beyond the 3900 build?
All I can find are the patchnote blogs for Bloodlines.

No patch notes are almost always not released du e to the fact that SiSi can be updated multiple times a day, sometimes even multiple times an hour if things are pretty bad. This would mean an almost full time job for some to update the notes.

Dev's have been known to run EVE (server + client) of their laptops.
I've seen it  (before shiva however, but doubt it would change much)
If I recall, theres even an 'option' to run the server in either cluster mode or non cluster mode.
The cluster mode is not good for the laptop though

If its a real business, someone will be making full notes on what they do, whether they have time to do a simplified version for the public is another matter..
But.. as the whole purpose of a test server is to test changes, not making public those changes, does mean its going to be hard to get people to test those very things you just changed..
