He doesn't the vagabond kills the lachesis.
Since you are using 4 dampners I would use 2 lock time scripts and 2 locking range scripts. This will help your drones. If you only use lock range scripts your drones will get killed fast. This was my cunning plan for a setup. its intended for flying as part of recon gangs.
High 2x 200mm rails 2's 3x Heavy Launcher 2's
Mid 2 Fleeting propulsion inhibitors 2 sensor damp 2's 10mn AB 2 Sensor Booster 2 Cap charger 2
Low 800mm crystal plate EANM 2 Med rep 2
this is currently untested, but it mostly there to web, as part of a recon gang.

I feel that having to use ECM drones to make the ship a value able ewar platform is kinda taking the whole point with the ship away.
I rather fly a deimos then with ecm drones.
Also if you ECM cycle fails, you are in trouble as you have poor speed and tank. Sig removed, lacks Eve-related content. If you would like further details please mail [email protected] - Cortes |

o/ all. I'm a bit lost with all the dampener nerfing that has been inflicted. I only recently aquired the skills to use a lachesis, and I'm trying to work out by how much do I effectively dampen my oponent's targeting range. At the moment I'm using 3 T2 damps that each have a 53% dampening effect. Say my oponent , has a targeting range of 100, what would it drop to once I dampen him ?

Tanking this ship is suicide especially because you are going to have to go into blaster range and your sensor damps will not cover you under 25k.
Your best bet is to nano the ship (much more survivability) and really try to stay above 25k so you cant be shot.
High - 3x hml , 2x 200 or 250mm rail. Medium - 10mn mwd II , warp dis II , 3x sd II , large cap battery II sensor booster II (locking time) Low - 2x overdrive II , nanofiber II
4x vespa ecm (will save you from ceptors tackling you)
2x poly rigs Your main role is a tackler now as your sensor damps do not help any of your gang m8s (within 24k which is 90% of them) so you really need a sensor booster to tackle effectivly.
And you have to nano or you wont be able to stay alive.

Do people forget what this is a RECON SHIP , not a freaking HAC. Not fitting a cloak on this ship is like actually driving an u-boat without going underwater.

It's a Combat Recon, not a Force Recon. It has no bonuses for cloaking.

20.6% or 20.6 km.
with 4 damps 17.8%
All though I found my 4 damps (base is 51% after skills no riggs) to be 16.2%. Which suggest that the stacking formula on forum is slightly of.
However approximate values full skills
1 damp, 47% 2 damps, 30% 3 damps, 20% 4 damps, 16.5%
meh sorry for 2 posts, meant to hit edit..
