Starting next week, members of the Dev team will be posting Blogs on a more frequent basis. With apologies to a certain alliance, the Band of Bloggers will be sharing their thoughts, what they have been working on for the past couple weeks, and just being more interactive with the EVE Community.
We are also looking at an e-mail based CSM program. The new CSM program is still in the planning and logistics phase, but will most likely be very close to the previous, chat-based version.
Finally, I know it has been a very long stretch since the last Dev Chat. I have pinned Oveur down, as soon as we have a rock-solid deployment schedule, Dev Chats will resume. I have previous chat requests saved, I will go through those mails at tne onset of scheduling.

Great news! The more communication with players, the better. You are beginning to rock again.
Edit: Im extreamly expressed with how fast you are reacting to the critisism about not communicating enough with players. CCP's goals and older players expectations seems to be out of sync on some issues, and this is the best way to work towards a solution. You deserve alot of credit for understanding how important this is. --- The Eve Wiki Project |

This must be unheard of in the history of mmorpg's actually. Where is the press when we need them...

No really, CCP have been doing the most amasing job, of keeping up with everything that's been going on over the past few month's, and I would like to say thanks in my own little right.

I think it's Customer Service Management - fairly standard acronym. Probably means they're getting a more shiny petition interface :P

Good to hear.
I know I, for one, have always been a little critical of the EVE Customer Service. So hearing of any change to CSM or CS related stuff can (hopefully) only be a good thing.
But you know I think you guys are the best MMO developer out there -- nobody is perfect. EVE just keeps getting better!!!

CSM means Council of Stellar Management in this case.

CSM= Council of Stellar Management, a 12 player panel representing different community interests that had a weekly 90 minute chat session with some of the Devs. The CSM series stopped as the crunch for Shiva began and just never restarted.
This time around, the questions are going to be submitted and answered via e-mail. The delegate selection needs to be redone and there are other things to take care of, but the plans are in the works.
