Another patch another font change. Better or worse? You choose:
3900 vs. 3908
I tried to make them similar enough to show the detail for comparison, side by side.
Setting for both were normal witdth, 12pt menus on a 1024x768 screen.
I like it, it works well on Sisi and is easy to read.

both look ugly and unreadable to me..
honestily it looks like all you did was change the font width.

There is a noticeable improvement in the clarity and readability, but I don't think the font is really 'new'. I'm pretty sure they are just tweaking the font rendering engine to not suck.
I still like the old Serif font from pre-Exodus...

try to find the difference between 6 and & with the current font ...

Not just you. The only picture where I see any difference whatsoever is the menu, and only the spacing - the individual characters all look the same to me.

Again? Do you have many chicks on the development team? This seems like a typical chick thing, let's change this for the sake of changing it, it doesn't give off a pink enough aura.
Leave it alone the current font looks great, no changing of outfits to suit your moods please!

Someone at CCP needs to read up and typography and visual comprehension abit. Not to mention, concider how "easy" the fonts are to read if you play in higher resolutions (1280x1024/960 or 1600x1200).

It's not entirely identical. It seems the new font's characters are a tiny bit wider than the old font. Doesn't make much difference to me, but I guess it's slightly easier to read.

Spacing is a bit wider, line height has been adjusted a wee bit.
It needs roughly twice the space to show the info as it did with the pre-unicode font.
The font that's been designed ignoring each and every font design rule is unchanged.
Some monitors can't show that font sharp on top of the bad font design because of the client rendering it in an awful way.

Since I couldnt really see a difference, I copied over the words Stabber and Reset in each pic and compared. Reset is EXACTLY the same pixel by pixel except for 1 extra pixel spacing between letters, Stabber has some MINOR shading differences, but the transparency is set different for the two interfaces, otherwise the spacing is the same and the font is the same. I'm guessing this is a joke mabey?
Dammit. Read the first post. In-game font settings are the same. No changes were made, just a straight copy/paste to make the side-by-sides.
I didn't make the effing changes, just pointing them out.
