I keep getting log records from npc kills when doing my lvl 4 missions.Nearly all are in deep 0.0 which makes me belive they lead to something valueable guarded by a lot of npc's.
Also some of them are in a foren langaue which im not to sure is yet so if anyone no's what it is that would be great he is an extract:

I believe that logs were removed a while ago, because aparently some developer did something to screw something up, at least that's the explaination I've heard from people.

I've had the odd one or two from Sanshas, but no where near as many as I used to get. I've got hangars FULL of those things ;)

so they do nothing? if u fly to there location there is nothing there?

Pretty much. When they worked you would fly there and see a bunch of pirate ships, silos, abandoned stations and other scenery. After the patch that broke/removed them, the pirate ships had stopped spawning and just the scenery was left. I haven't been to look at one for ages, so I don't know if the scenery is still there.
The ones in the less welcoming parts of low-sec and 0.0 were always a good place to get ganked by people waiting for curious tourists clutching looted pirate logs.

Some of them also give the locations of the high-end complexes. I know a few Serpentis logs I've had point to UTKS in Syndicate, which is the location of the 10/10 Serpentis Fleet Shipyard complex.
