lol, ccp is too funny, I knew it! I wasted ALOT of time doing these silly agent missions, I'm on my level 2 now.. And I dont see any idea to continue to level 3, I'm sure its quite impossible to get implants now.. So all I can say is gratz to everyone who already got a level 3 agent, and got alot of implants :(.. CCP did it again, they already did it with miner 2.... :( I could mined all that time.. ****!

Actually if you read the thread people are still receiving them relatively often - and as you appear to be Gallente if you are working up through that faction you will have a chance to get your hands on an INT implant, which is the second most rare in the game.
Don't look so hard on implants being more rare, now they're a pain in the ass to get - but this also means they will remain much more valuable for much longer. I suspect it will be some time before INT implants sell for less than 10M and MEM should stay above 15-20 for weeks.

Quote: And boosters will make it into the game when a few issues with them have been adressed. They won't be available on the general market (as they are illegal goods).
If you need anyone to test these, please get in touch. We're hoping to have a victory party on Sunday night in Venal and are a bit short of entertainment :-)

"Yes with the current mechanics they will have to settle for pvp trading with the boosters. We might add them into market groups in the pirate controlled space, but that's not set in stone yet."
... Well, can't help but find it a strange decision.
* the market already supports purchase and sales of illegal goods. I guess they will now have to be removed from it for the consistency.
* limiting trade to direct pvp essentially eliminates skills like Black Market Trading -- there's snowball chance in hell of 'catching' players who trade illegal goods directly, using game code and logic.
* forcing the trade into in-game channels adds nothing to 'reality' of the game. If anything, it destroys it -- while i can imagine players being able to make use of their characters' skills and contacts to put illegal goods on the anonymous galaxy-wide market... having them sit in Trade chat channel for hours and post "WTS: boosters, cheap" every n seconds next to some other guy who sells blueprint copies, or yet another with NPC loot ... well, it just seems to have nothing to do with how trading illegal goods would be normally done, non?..
... Why not add this functionality to agents instead?.. Two functions for black market agents: "put goods for sale on the market" and "purchase goods from market", invoked from the dialogue.
Once put on the market, such goods would be then visible in the market tables, but would be marked as illegal and could only be purchased through the said agents. or maybe the agent could simply inform there's illegal goods for sale, presuming someone actually put them on sale.
Similar to search service, lvl.1 black market agents would operate on system level, lvl.2 would give access to illegal goods in constellation, lvl.3 in region and so on.
Upon use of these options, the game could run the checks against player's Black Market skill to see if the action was succesful, or if they were caught... thus making the skills actually useful.
And it'd still leave option of direct pvp trade for those preferring it... o.O

... Do you mean, people will have to settle for things like in-game Trade channel and such like to sell the boosters? Or just that the (original) supply will be through the agents with black market service?
Yes with the current mechanics they will have to settle for pvp trading with the boosters. We might add them into market groups in the pirate controlled space, but that's not set in stone yet.
Please do so, it only takes me 10 minutes in Trade before I feel like turning to the dark side.
