How is FLA not living up to the agreement again? I seem to recall a post where NFC weren't living up to theirs.
Face it folks, there are too many folks to count that have interest in this.
CORE : Alliance formed for the sole purpose of corps not being able to set standings to alliances (HINT CCP) CORE was formed by Venture Corp who decided to stay and babysit the miner residents left behind by IRON, no wait, IORN, no wait.....dammit Darko, now I'm confused.
NFC : n00bs For Crokite. The previously mentioned miner residents that IRON err IORN err (GAH, for the purpose of this post I'll forget Darko said anything) left behind. Bright idea for these folks, we'll form an alliance and alienate IRON's lesser friends and then post like it's all their fault in the first place.
FLA : Old IRON friends. MAybe not a huge powerhouse but, surprisingly more rugged than I would have thought. REALLY nice folks and I really trust them more than NFC. Funny thing about the first war, NFC invites them in......big press release about contact blah for FLA or BLAH for NFC for standings.....presumably both entities responsible for defense of region. Suddenly, NFC has a cow when FLA start building defense goods.
IRON : Really the rightful owners of this now circus. They just roam and shoot things now but, they really should come back for good. Funny how NFC dogs bite the hand that fed them instead of think "hey, we're screwing up, let's re-evaluate this FLA thing."
Alektorophobia : Some group with an aversion to Alec Trebek or Alek Guiness, I'm not sure which yet. Either way, it looks like they just want to blow stuff up and have an excuse. (Nothing wrong there, exactly the reason, along with IRON that I'm shooting NFC atm)
DoFA & Friends : Same as the Alek Trebek err, Guiness haters above.
At any rate, everybody loves a winner. NFC, the time of everyone loving you is at the end of it's rope. Besides, UDIE will soon be lurking I'm sure. We all remember what happened the last time. |

Regarding Venture sticking around to 'babysit' Dek. That's a load of bull***, we stuck around because for most part we were inactive. Nothing more, nothing less. When asked, we did provide assistance to residents, but certainly never considered it as any form of caretaking.

Here is my view of events leading up to this.
1-Bacteria

4-rats with big brains
5-monkeys
6-monkeys with big brains
7-Humans

9-Satan
10-Internet
11-CCP-EvE
12-B(l)oB-Had to get them in the thread.
13-Iron disband and fly their frigs to ascn space.
14-Residents of space in question join 2 alliances NFC/FLA they live together for a short time and NFC decides they dont like FLA.
15-NFC locks FLA out of region and ****es off the wrong people.
16-Burn Eden spawn in area followed by big guns Alek.
17-NFC's war effort even with Sparta and other allies starts to look grim. And an unbendable council(NFC) is forced to make peace.
18-Iron decides its time to build some more frigates to fly and moves back north in hopes of having all their farmers back.
19-NFC says screw you, FLA says YAY now we will show those NFC guys with IRON on our side. Not realizing that IRON will just fly back to ASCN space once they have enough frigates and isk to do so.
20-FLA break peace treaty claiming that they just didnt have enough moons to hump, and Iron bring the frig fleet ready for war.
21-ALEK ****ed at this point because their time and isk was waisted on a useless campaign decide to go north and make sure the right side wins.
22-Big asteroid hits earth
23-bacteria

All these comments stating NFC is the devil are highly amusing to me. NFC as an entity made the first mistake and tried to make it work again, now FLA/IRON are the aggressors. FLA broke the treaty for no good reason. Neither side can claim total innocense.
Here's pretty much what happened:
1. NFC receives bogus intel and former NFC leadership (AUS corp, now fighting alongside FLA??!!) decides to act. It got out of hand and NFC ended up attacking FLA.
2. NFC & SPARTA fight vs FLA+ALEK+friends, both sides lose their fair share of assets.
3. Thedragoon proposes a peace agreement between FLA and NFC as both sides realise the war is pointless, uncalled for and not beneficial to anyone. This being done by NEW NFC LEADERSHIP while admitting the fact it was wrong to attack FLA. (Please stop blaiming avril for stuff she didn't do please :)
4. Peace (please knock it off, both sides were sticking to the agreement).
5. IRON wants deklein back after publicly posting they would be leaving the region and stations for those willing to manage them.
6. IRON asks other alliances if they would be willing to support them. FLA jumps on IRON's proposal and delivers NFC with an unreasonable ultimatum. (leave deklein or die).
7. War
Please people, stop this nonsense. If you want to shoot us fine, but if you must post things on the EVE-O forums then tell it like it is.

Oh dear, I don't remember us ever writing "leave deklein or die". So either I'm an amnesiac or you're just a liar. We claimed RFY-QB and S-B1E4 and gave you 48 hours to clear out. If you had come to the table we would have negotiated and settled for less, but just like the last time we heard not a single word from the NFC leadership. In fact, the words "negotiation" and "communication" appears somehow to have been left out of all dictionaries delivered to NFC systems. Not that it particularly matters any more.

Whoa whoa whoa .. talk about giving yourselves a little too much credit. Besides some BE ganking around vfk-ju, the whole war was fought in 3jn (after we cleaned up and took all the other systems). And there basically you managed to use a cloaked carrier to keep your huge pos's feuled and retain sovereignity. I'm not saying there weren't good fights on both sides, but there was no 'poised to take vfk-ju forces' at that time.
