When I was in the world of tanks beta I almost never logged into eve for a few weeks. then they did a wipe and split the servers into a NA and EU zone, and well after that I never logged in again. I live in NA and nearly everyone I played eve with were EU so any game that does a split like that, I have an issue with that. With Rift at least all I had to do was hit a button to swap sides, although my characters were all stuck in the EU servers.
I've heard mentions of ED and that kickstarter game with 40mil+ in backing (heh I can't even remember its name) but they all seem so carebearish... That kinda thing is fun for a while sure, but I'm not sure how long it lasts.

On a scale from 1 to 10 I give this game a flush down the crapper. Oddly reminiscent of an old fps space game called Tachyon: the fringe. Still, OP is comparing apples to cabbage. |

I'm a mac user, and i won't run that Windows Virus on my computer that i paid extra special moneys for, b/c i think it looks super sexy and slimming :D
