Well, basically, this is pretty much for a specific example I'd like: Make a new, nifty command module for each race. You can ONLY mount that on a Command BC of the same race. Anyone who flys that CBC can use the module, though. Making race count in other ways, meh. Maybe boost standings gain by 5% with your own race's corperations. Maybe.

The best thing about EVE is that you're not restricted in the direction you can go or the ships you fly by your starting choices, aside from the small variation in racial starting stats/skills.

However, if you bothered to read the posts I quoted, you'd notice he mentioned Americans and f-17, therefore he wasn't referring to native americans. Reading comprehension FTW. --

Identity is a different thing. But identity races are the stuff an unmentioned ideology used as a basis for early 20th century propaganda, and I won't go into that.

It is NOT WoW, where you need to be 'mage' to blast 'fireballs'. And if you like preset classes there are plenty of those games out there already offering that -- we would not need another clone of that idea as it's better as it is currently. Carniflex
