Edited by: GunnyP on 02/10/2003 00:31:26 Earlier today Ragnar Danneskjold officially stepped down as President and CEO of Taggart Transdimensional and declared his retirement from EVE. Ragnar's tireless efforts and robust style of management have seen TTI grow to be one of the most successful corps in the game, and we will be sad to see him leave.
TTI is now under new management. Gunny P replaces Ragnar as CEO, Mark A is appointed Vice President, and there has been an internal reshuffle of the Board of Directors. Along with these changes come new policies, which will return TTI to its roots as a large-scale industrial corporation.
We wish to put the controversy of recent times behind us, and as such are wiping the slate clean. Our KOS list is empty, and we are declaring a unilateral ceasefire effective immediately. All bounties have been revoked, and all existing alliances have been dissolved. In particular, while TTI has never condoned piracy, we have in the past been members of alliances which have included pirate corporations. This is no longer the case, nor will it ever be in future.
We look forward to reaffirming our diplomatic and trade relations with all other corporations and alliances, and working towards a secure and prosperous future for all.

Edited by: Robeyone on 02/10/2003 00:23:32 RONA Corporation would like to congratulate GunnyP as the new CEO of TTI Corporation. As RONA is a corporation bent on peace in the Venal Region we will stand behind the peace process between TTI and the NVA. RONA will abide by the new cease fire in hopes of being an example for the other corporations in the NVA to move forward with the peace process. We also wish that in some point in the future that relations between the NVA and TTI can resume to a normal business level. We accept RagnarĘs retirement and salute TTI for this new and bold move. Congratulations once again. _

OCC does also congratulate Gunny on this move. We also recognize that this is a great opportunity to begin anew and rid ourselves of this tiresome war. Gunny we have been friends for a long time, and I wish you all the best. OCC stands with in the want for peace and will help to push this process to its fullest. _________________________________ Indefinately MIA Former CEO Occassus Republica - Military Division Leader Founding members of the Venal Alliance You'll Find Religion When I Find You |

EVOL has no statement regarding this yet.
Until further notice, TTI is still on our most wanted list.

The Coalition of Free Stars Alliance: Khanid, also welcomes this move within TTi. Recently, the threat of wars, from CA vs SA/FA, and then NVA vs TTi and partners, have threatened to spill over our borders and into Khanid. Hopefully the NVA is now willing, and I see two members of NVA have already supported this, to make peace with TTi. One less war is good for all involved, especially those in the crossfire who did not seek it. TTi has no doubt learned that close association with pirates only taints you, and that other corporations would be well served to remember this. Pirates have their rightful place in this game, but so do those who fight them. I would encourage all corporations involved with this matter to resolve their differences. CFS stands ready to assist in any way in the peace process.

Congratulations Gunny. We said a long time ago TTI would be better off with you and Mark A in charge. While I've been fairly harsh on TTI's lack of military participation in various wars, this criticism never applied to either of you, (nor Tigger) since I noticed that you guys did represent regularly.
I think you can repair TTI's damaged reputation and make your corp a well-respective entity.
Best of luck to you, sir.

On behalf of Jericho Fraction I add our support to the ceasefire and hopeful onset of peaceful negotiation.
We recognise the significant steps that Taggart have taken here. And we applaud the statements made by GunnyP as new CEO of Taggart.
Taggart without the pirate Alliance and without the declared intent to crush the NVA is no longer an enemy that needs fighting.
Speaking personally, I also recognise and applaud the lifting of the solicitation to murder that has long disturbed my sleep ;)
Well done GunnyP and the new Taggart board.
And my best wishes for the peace negotiation to come.
The NA is dead; long live the NVA (and long live New Taggart!)

"This day and this action was overdue, that it is now upon us is welcome; but the cost to TTi and the rest of the galaxy is, perhaps, one that the TTi memebership will still live to rue for some time.
Trust will be a word that TTi will need to prove, at many junctions down the line, before it is something that, once again, becomes associated with the corporation and their dealings as it once did."

SirMolle. I would expect you to be gracious and accept your arch-nemesis Ragnar has flown the coop. If you go on attcking what is obviously a beaten down group of people you'll even further your reputation as PK'ers. Or have people forgotten all the threads here in the past about your PKing so called casualties of war. If your going to grief TTI just go ahead and say so. Your posturing really serves no purpose otherwise. Thank you.

Priestess - "I'll believe it when i see it" is a good rule to live by for those who have experienced "the truth and future according to TTi" first hand.
DO not dismiss scepticism and do not try to enforce its application by "threat" of appearing criminal in being justifiably sceptical.
I welcome the announcement - cant say as i trust it any further than i could throw it... ya want me to put my life or any money on it - no way Jose.
Time and evidence via actions will tell, nothing else.

Ah, my favorite princess. Allow me to explain the situation, Princess.
TTi does us wrong, we go to war. Big war ensues, lots of people die, planets explode, sirmolle and ragnar+magic hat fight a deathdefying light saber battle aboard Ragnars apocolypse, a big battlemoon is exploded, etc.
TTi now says Ragnar quit eve. Can we confirm this immediately? No. Can we confirm TTi is really ceasing their fire? No. Are we going to give a unilateral cease fire on one mans word? No. Our leaders and the new tti's will work out it out themselves, without the goading of Amistad.

It truely is a shame to lose Ragnar. So few news makers from the old days are left now.
Where is Sabaoth? Where is Endless? Where is Xtinction? The only reason I have seen anything from Omega Corp and the Duke is because of their recent misgivings over my own corporations current alliance members.
sigh

Sabaoth has died, Endless is still around, and I'm sure I saw an Xtinction ship fly around in 0.0 space (that or the X-Traders O.o).
I wonder what will happen to the TTi site..

Edited by: KIAInkZ on 02/10/2003 08:24:46 Congratulations GunnyP.
If you prove good to your word (which I personally believe you will) then I look forward to positive relations with yourselves at sometime in the near future.
Good luck, and good form. I will initiate the KIA ceasefire with immediate effect.
@M3G4: I will initiate a tempory ceasefire with immediate effect, until such time as the offices have been transferred. At this point I will make the ceasefire permanent, and KIA will remain neutral with your corporation. I don't see positive relations with M3G4 in the near future, but will respect your request to change your ways. We will be watching your progress with great interest, and wish you well for the future. ---

KIA ceasefire is in place with TTI as of now, Mega we still await the transffer of all offices held within Venal as agreed, and as my colleague says, we will be watching you carefully to see if your claim for a wanted new life, is indeed a virtuous one.
TTI, congrats on the removal of Ragnar as CEO, and good luck Gunny and Co in steering the ship :) Hope to see you guys soon.

Last night a deal was apparently struck that has my support. Jade apparently bought the one of the offices and the other office is going back to tti.
I dont blame KIA for there suspision or caution, In the past we have done terrible things. But that time is over, and now we are onward to the future.
Once the offices have been cleared of all materials they will be transferred.
