Most likely it wasn't imported for that system. The easiest way to do it is to uncheck "don't save orders" in the Market Analysis tab and do an import there.

Is there a way to see totals of every station I got sell or buy orders in Evernus somehow? Like total profit, total product value, profit margin?
Would it not be nice it it would be implemented into the character order tab somehow?
Cheers! |

You can use the statistics tab to aggregate totals by any criteria you want.

Right, I was afraight for that. Creating those formula's is something that is over my head. Can you consider it since it is quite basic for trading to know per station whats happening? If not, I understand your busy enough as is. Plus you cant implement every single request.
Cheers and thanks for the fine piece or software! |

Is there a way to get Market Analysis for 2 stations in the same region? If I do such a analysis, it turns up empty.
Am I missing something? |

Yes, you can. Maybe your filtering hides the data? Or maybe there is no data.

Wanted the say thanks for this amazing tool. It's helped me a lot (I'm sure I'm not even using it to it's full potential either). Sometimes I do some streaming of my market pvp and I'll always share that I'm using Evernus. People always ask as well

It's a known issue with CREST - it's simply unreliable. Sometimes it works, usually it doesn't. You can try decreasing requests per second in the preferences, or wait a while and import again.

We have had an ongoing issue with CREST the last few days. It appears to be a hardware issue and we are working to resolve it.

Still working on it? It seems impossible to actually load something from CREST API. |

Just finished the move to a new VM. With the move of TQ to a new data center getting new machines was a bit of a challenge in the old DC.

As it was said, getting machine in the old datacenter was challenging, instead of rushing all around, could have saved time. In the end the VM will be die anyway(or moved to the new datacenter, if stateless(no db involved) guess no need to move it again). |

You didn't answer the question.
You now have a VM running in Azure. What do you do with it? You seem to very knowledgeable in CCP:s infrastructure and I'm keen to learn.

Oh sorry, didn't want to gave that impression, I am not knowledgeable about the CCP infrastructure. Was only surprised that the comment was about being hard to find a space for a virtual machine in a datacenter. In the end from a pure abstract perspective, a VM can be provisioned anywhere as long as you have a sized net link to connect it to the rest of the infrastructure with the right performances (yeah vpn tunnel and all that security stuff). Anyway, yes all depend on the setup of the backend: -> VM on CPP own machine -> reuse hardware == free (eventually) -> had to get computing power from datacenter to locate the VM -> no longer free(and depend if you have to pay upfront or pay per use) -> get vm on cloud -> not free but pay as you go with no upfront
i am keen to think about the first option considering the video released for the migration, but anyway in an emergency situation, can save time (time==$$) :)
all speculations indeed, not pretending to know

Damn, if only CCP devs knew earlier that their hardware is not the only hardware in the world that can run VM:s.
We would have working crest working perfectly now!
But good that you finally enlightened them.

Since CREST is pretty much useless at this point, an idea came up to switch to eve-central for order import. Does anyone have experience with bulk data import from them?

No worries, eve-central import is in progress. Switching CREST to public effectively killed it, which is a shame. First we didn't get the interface we really needed, now this. What a waste...

I was using Fiddler to watch the requests to CREST over the wire. And it seems like CREST just drops the occasional request at random. Is it possible to add some retry/recovery logic to Evernus to work around the unreliable service? I was thinking of grabbing the source and trying to add this in, just trying to understand if that even makes sense or worth the effort. |

That's great to hear. It used to work very well a couple of months ago. I miss those days. Here's hoping that switching to eve-central will get Evernus back to that level. |

That makes sense and if you would like to play with it, it would be awesome. My time is extremely limited lately, hence the slowed development pace. Right now getting eve-central to work is my top priority.
