Hey m8,
thanks for the tool and the work you put in it. I really like using it, but there's just one thing bothering me. The broker fee. Is it possible to adjust it to your skill level and therefor your effective fee? It's always at 0,95% which isn't correct for my character (should be 0,59%). Therefore the margin tool gives me the wrong result or am I missing something here? |

You can set your skills on the character tab.

Hey, thanks for the advice, but that should be up to date, I just checked. My ingame brokers fee is now 0,56% (at jita 4 caldari assembly plant). When I adjust the standing I have to them in Evernus (which is 9,71 ingame) I still get the wrong brokers fee. Evernus shows me 0,34% instead of 0,56%. As a data source I also used the mentioned station.

I need to check this. The formula for computing broker's fee seems to be ok. Can you tell me your faction and corp standings, and broker relations skill level?
BTW. If anyone who compiles Evernus from source wants to try Eve-Central import - it's been pushed to the repo. Binaries will be available later.

Hey.
My broker relations level is 2 at the moment.
You can find my standings in the link:

The EVE screenshots are pretty pixelated . If you can't read them just let me know wich ones you need for Jita IV Navy Assembly Plant. THx 4 the work. |

Your broker's fee should be 0.5097879033% (manually calculated) and Evernus shows 0,51%, so everything should be ok.

Hey,
sorry to bother you again, but then something has to be wrong on my end.
In EVE itself i have 0,56% Broker fee (screenshot: http://postimg.org/image/3ljsutx3f/46dc1ee4/)
In Evernus it show me 0,34% (screenshot: http://postimg.org/image/48ipkctzf/1baaca71/)
The only source of the mistake can be in my character setup ni Evernus then. I've played around with my faction and corp standings to get the right result, but wasn't able to.
They currently look like this: http://postimg.org/image/4qn52ji4p/14399035/
Maybe there's my fault. Does the Corp Standing in this case mean Caldari Navy and faction standing the Caldari State? If so, they are correct.

Can you try reinstalling now? Note if the installer is actually downloading the package.
Also what system are you on?

So looks like Microsoft changed something with their new compiler without changing their documentation. Great. Please install https://www.microsoft.com/pl-pl/download/details.aspx?id=48145

Trying to install this gives me an unspecified error. I'd probably also be wise to link to an English version of the website rather than the Polish. |

Here you go: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49984
I'll update the first link also. Later today, I'll update the install scripts.
EDIT: you may need to remove mscp140.dll and vcruntime140.dll from Evernus directory, if you get an error after installtion. Sorry about that mess

The redistributable should install fine, unless Microsoft messed something up really bad. What exact error are you getting? I'll try to find some info.

From what I can Google, you stumbled upon a known error in the redistributable. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/31536606/while-installing-vc-redist-x64-exe-getting-error-failed-to-configure-per-machi - there seems to be the answer for Windows 8, maybe the solution is similar for you.

Hey Pete,
So I've given the Market Analysis tool a try for inter-region, and I can sort items by the best difference or margin, and it shows me the spread between the buy orders at the source and the sell orders at the destination. Is there a way to see the spread between source sell and destination sell instead? Or even source sell and destination buy?
Also, the column labeled "30-day avg. min. volume." Is that the volume of the source station, destination station, a combination of the two, or something else? |

Right now you can only see the difference between source buy and destination sell (best case difference). The volume is the minimum of both source and destination.

The lesser. After all, it's no point in buying a ton if it won't ever sell.

I think I'm a little confused then. Please let me know if I'm misunderstanding how this is suppose to work.
I took a look at Source: Amarr, Destination: Agil. Looking at item 200mm Autocannon I 30-day avg min. volume is listed at 201.
When I look in game, it looks like over the last month like 6700 of this item traded in Amarr, and 296 traded in Agil. Wouldn't I expect to see a number like 10 for the 30-day avg. min volume? Indicating that the, about, 10 autocannons trading per day in Agil is the lower volume we're constrained to for trading?
Here's an image of it: http://i.imgur.com/lvFzin2.jpg
Left is Amarr, right is Agil, bottom is Evernus. |
