Although joking about it being a mining fleet, I personally think CCP should do this more regularly, it is good for them and the EvE player base and should get some of that bitter vet hate out of peoples systems.
Because CCP Devs are people too; Well probably, I am not ruling out that they are an advanced cybernetic race sent from the future to train us to be space pilots to save the galaxy. |

Awhhh, give them a break. This is the first time many of the Dev's have seen the game running in 8 years. Some of them have forgotten what the real world looks like at this point, and their back's show the scars of many SCRUM whippings and punishments.
