Hmm. I can log in fine.
Maybe it's a regional proxy type thing... still unable to connect or port 26000

While I understand the general policy of not sharing exploits, is there not a possibility that the devs has not spotted the entire effects of said exploit, and explaining it - after its fixed ofc - would give people a chance at investigating if they might have been touched by it? If its out in the open, maybe theres a better chance that someone honest will spot and report a repeat of it or similar problem?
Again, I can see why you would not want to point to those areas of the code. But Like everyine else, I am just madly curious. :)

Edited by: Schani Kratnorr on 20/07/2006 17:36:37 It appears the server is "up" for some, but still showing "still unable to connect or port 26000" for others, can we get someone who's JOB it is, to look into the matter? -- "I am an expert in not caring. Would be nice if someone official would confirm that they are aware of the fact that some can log in and others can't connect to the IP. Be it intentional or not.

What regions are we all from (those who still cannot connect)? Maybe if we are all taking a similar route to the cluster that info can help them sniff out the issue. E Coast US here.

Ditto that. Also restarted the cable modem itself and toggled the networking connection to aquire a new address to no avail. I believe this one is in CCP's court. |

Wondering why the client is trying to connect to 87.237.38.200:26000, Iceland, when the server is in London.

For those having trouble logging back in, I would suggest rebooting your DSL modem, machine and your router.
I'm in Australia, and had the same trouble, I've just reset my wireless router, rebooted my modem and I've got straight in.
Hope this helps someone else out.

Doesn't help, the client is trying to connect to 87.237.38.200:26000, not the usual IP

Well, I've not been logged in all day, so I should hope not. Unless they changed/reverted something server-side that shouldn't have been. Plus I can connect to Singularity
