Im bored and a bit stressed at work and i thought to relieve some tension this would be a good post. Here it is for me. I was on my way from Period basis with my alt Brutzoor in a viator. This was after 4 days of mining so he about 600 mill in minerals and some nice faction mods. I jumped to a gate and had to pee real real real bad. There was no activity on the map so i was like man i got to go. I left him at the gate and when i come back there is a blood geddon from Comsic fusion blowing my arse up. Doh! Got my pod out but man all the money. I havent done that for along time but i just did and i was man i got lucky this time so dont do that again Marine. Well I thought i just had to share i am sure we will get some good stories here. Semper fi.

Jumping into H-pa in shiny new dominix which never hurt a fly to join FE forces there and i was shot down by about 150 Atuk and they danced naked around my frozen corpse .

Was raiding fix space in a thorax with a tackler frig and had just had a nice old fight with a very well armed t2 fitted caracal, got his loot and we decided to move on, thinking hmm that is a nice hold full.
I jumped and saw on my overview what must have been 20 ships as they had been chasing another Huzzah force around the area, got off a 'lol' and took the fast ride home.

1. BoB fleet engages NORAD.
2. BoB fleet moves past NORAD space.
3. Poor Aussies who are never around when the fun happens, try to catch up to the fleet.
4. Jump into a system to find 45 NORAD on the gate.
5. Somehow get my faction fitted Ishtar out of the camp to a nearby planet.
6. Scan the gate.
7. Try insta to the next gate, land 8km off.
8. All 45 NORAD land on top of me, and I damn near instapop.. That was 2 hours after having the ship reimbursed after it's first loss (Jamesw killed me during dt...).

A few months back I was in one of many roaming gangs that ASCN & AXE had running all over the north at the time. Flying a Hawk cos they were a zillion times cheaper than Harpies.
So anyway, our scout finds us a bunch of targets somewhere in Pureblind. As in, about 20 (think they were FREGE?), and we were about 10. Gang leader tells us to jump on arrival so we can start looking for em, but seconds later the scout screams to gtfo - the other 20 (all frigs/cruisers as well) had just insta-ed to the other side of our gate, but it was too late for me and one gangmate in a thorax who had just jumped into them.
So me and the rax decloak simultaneously, hoping they'd all go for just one of us, and sure enough, they went for me. _b Amazingly though, I still managed to get my pod out after almost two solid minutes of frozen client and "warp-out" spamming. \o/

I was having fun in my punisher and charged a ferox trying to warp scramble it. I had friends nearby who were gonna jump on him and that would have been the end of it.
The kicker is, it was under a week after t2 missiles came out. Before that, my punisher could have relatively easily tanked the heavy missiles long enough for my allies to warp in. So, the missiles come and I see...
Havoc precision Heavy Missile hits you for...
...and after a bit of colorful language the second volley came and that was the end of it =/. Pod made it out but man that was a wakeup call.

Back when FoE was at its hight of power
I had just bought a geddon with the last of my isk, planning on using it to hunt some npcs and make isk. So I jumped into EC- only to find 25+ FoE camping the gate with bubbles and a tonne of support, now remember i had spent all my isk on this ship and had nothing left, i decloaked (wasnt my choice would have stayed cloaked all day if i could)started to warp, get scrambled, i pop that tackler (this was back when lasers were uber and ECM was a sure thing if u had enough modes), start to warp again scrabled again, pop that tackler, now at this point i think im kicking ass i pop 1 tackler after the other, by the time i had the 5th ship into struc i notice there is a BB with the camp, and its locking me, so i change targets lock the BB fire 1 shot and get jammed. FoE then proceded to blow me up, pod me, and i lose everything i owned in eve, and i mean everything i wake up in station with an ibis and nothing else (aside from insureance payout)
Another time was:
Me: hey anyone know where that BoB fleet is
Alliance mate: no idea
*Me jumps threw gate*
Me: nvm found them
I jumped into about 40 BoB in a slow ass gedd, fitted for fleet battles, BoB happend to have a few scorps (pre ECM change) lets just say i didnt win

I suicided my Thorax into Tribute the other night because our war targets haven't undocked and fought willingly. I popped pretty quick there. 
Also, my Raven got ganked by Fate. a few months back, though I got reimbursed for it, because even though the gank was legit, the fact that my Raven never registered a cancel warp while a Mammoth and an interceptor in my gang did really ****ed me off. Of course, the Mammoth got out of Pure Blind fine.

It started with the thought "I don't need to fit stabs for this, I'll fit cargo expanders and do it in one run."
It ended as you would imagine. Unfortunately it was worth about 50% of the ISK I've earned in the last two months.
At least I got the can which was something.

back in deklein. brand new T2 fitted Rattar (ishtar), decided that since there was some hostiles down the pipe, i'd insta dock and refit.
warped to gate at 15km to bounce off it and insta the station. then 5AU from warp. local jumps by 15 people... and they uncloak as I emerge from warp...
ganked by 3 battleships and 2 hacs... cool thing was that they seem to have been firing kin/therm. so tanked all of it for 2 or so minutes. nearly killed the deimos :D

just a hint, if you carry a heavy load of expensive minerals. break the pile :p
40k zyd -> 4x10k for exemple. if you go ****, i wish you luck and still keep 3 stacks of 4 or 2 on 4 in your loot :)
my corp was back in the north since a little bit of time, and ofc all standings wasnt fixed... i hoped so, but it wasnt the case.. saddly i managed to take a med bubble in the face in my buzzard and uncloaked, been poped by blueblue people, saved the pod tho. i managed to go down to taisy, opened the market and ask it for a cov ops dev II. looked at the price and felt down of my chair. 50M isk. -_-

Lots of them, but this one is amusing if slightly embarassing
Joint Snigg / Fate gang of 20-30 (mostly Fate BS's & Snigg support) goes to S-U in Syndicate to harass goons. After goons get a bloody nose during the initial engagement, they regroup under the direction of a small BOS command squad, and tactical movement ensues for an hour, with our gang trying to lure them into sniping range, to benefit from our technical advantage, and they trying to lure us into close-range, to benefit from their numerical advantage (roughly 100 goonies, most in t1 frigs).
While hovering near one of the gates, aligned to a predetermined warpout, we get word that the goon gang is incoming. Phonix, who is our gang-leader, in a rare doh moment, changes the gang alignement in the last second. Tempests being what they are, Phonix gets his "keel" into my "sail", or vice-versa, and we watch in horror as our speed drops while the rest of the gang warps out, and the goonie swarm lands on top of us...
Faced with certain death, we must now consider our best options - die gloriously with our ship, collect insurance, but most likely get podded losing 10 to 20 times the insurance in implants, or eject early on, and make a run for it, forfeiting insurance in order to save precious implants. The choice is quickly made, and soon the goons find themselves in possession of two fully tech-2 fitted howitzer tempests, while we both survive and make it home alive, in our pods.

after watching "reckless" by farjung, i decided to use almsot all my money to pimp out my megathron with corpum, officer, and faction mods. only to jump 2 jumps into gw, engage a nosdom, and have a 30 man fleet jump in on me. kinda sat there in a daze for a while after that one.

Heh finally managed to get your corpse from that :D
As i remember it you were part of a bigger HF gang which was moving away from 9cg via a2- pipe - we gave chase, managed to kill a few but realised you hadn't jumped through.
Gave the order to jump back and take the quick route up to EFA (on the pretence that you would take the back route)..you were spotted somewhere so we were setup and waited - and yay you jumped in :D

Actually exactly the same happened to me with a similar amount of zydrine.. i.e a lot back then... only I lost it to a mo0 empire gatecamp on the A2-V27 <> Domain route.
Worst thing was it wasnt really pilot error that done it...
I had had to log off unexpectedly due to RL whilst enroute, at about 4 am later that night I had some spare time and figured it was best time to continue my journey to domain.
Only I log on, my apoc gets warped to a gate and there are like 15 mo0 waving to me in local
It still hurts after all this time... and was teased about it by corpmates.... for months and months afterwards... losing that amount of corp minerals ftl.......

I guess when I thought it would be fun/funny to go into Delve on my own a while back, with no instas, in a Dominix. I was one jump out from my destination and a BoB interceptor spotted me and obviously reported it as when I did the jump in the next 10 seconds, there were about 10 ships warping in on me as I unclocked. I was nossed, jammed, sensor damped etc - couldn't lock anything during the whole "fight".
Oh, or where I went for a slash and forgot my Megathron was in a belt, came back 10 minutes later or something and was in a pod.

Let's just say that at that point in our history we hadn't had a lot of experience with really expensive headgear.
Truth be told, we were secretly hoping that none of you would be able to actually board the ships out of lack of skills, allowing us to either collect on the insurance anyway, or maybe return and board our ships again. But some of your lads were apparently skilled enough to take off with the ships. Fair game, and I'm glad I contributed to the Goonie Educational Trust fund in my own personal way.

I was showing my buddies the game (they had just made some new accounts) Showed up in my Arma showing them the Battleships..
they asked me how much damage they do, So them being in my gang I decide to target one and shoot them..
Forgetting I was in concord space..
3 seconds later I got 1/2 the Gal fleet showing up blasting me into next week.. All the time my "buddies" are laughing there asses off on TS..
<sigh> never gonna live that one down.
Best PVP gank, That'd be the time I'm runnin to catch up to the rest of the fleet. I'm about 1 jump behind, I ask if its safe on the otehr side, they say yes, I jump, finding about 10 BOB there..
I die, I'm screaming at them wondering why they said it was safe.. The reply
"ohh we decided to head back down to Pureblind.. sorry!"

Maybe i told it before but this is what happend to me,
couple of years ago i was flying in a new scorpion filled with bpc's.
I entered a .4 system ( ap was on) ans warped into a Zombie camp.
They webbed me and scrambled me and asked for isk.
I kept talking while clicking on a planet.
Sudenly i warped \0/
When i arived at the planet i was very happy, until my scorp warped to the gate again ( still on autopilot)straight into the Zombie camp.
The pirates where suprised but i told them that it was not fair warping out when they waited for me to pay, so i warped back
After that i just waited until my scorp was destroyed

Got my ishtar and decided to see how it went in belts in teh local system. Undocked and warped to belt and started to kill some of the rats. I noticed a tempest in belt with 5.1 standings so didnt pay much attention. As i was collecting cans the tempest got within 20km and warp scrambled me and started shooting. Beofre i could say WTF are u doing u retard in local i right clicked and went show info. Our corp mistankenly set a G alliance corporation to postive standings. I can tell you now a tempest with 800MM II's doesnt take long to kill a non explosive tanked ishtar. My very first HAC dead 10 minutes after undocking :(.

lost my raven to ca in hed.. i hasd been camping the gate for few hours i just killed a lone geddon that jumped in. then i was like weird can wont open. hmm bit laggy like then about 100 ca came out of warp :( my shiny raven with full rack of arby siege went splat. but got my pod out :) |

I'm not too sure about the rare part there. This is the same guy that podded himself back to empire to get a new set of implants, plugged them in and then podded himself back to Fade after being told there was a hostile fleet on the way.

not where ive been gank but been part of the gankers. bob had been expecting an event team to lead up norad,fa,vc all those sorts of guys.
anyhow while we were waiting in nol seeing as we were expecting an attack in the heart of our teritory the enemys started converging.
due to some cunning a group seperated off and took out a large chunk of the expected enemys on theyre way to meet up with the event guys.
the only player allaince still around was norad really with a few of everyone else floating by. anyhow to cut a story short they didnt attack nol they attacked 8 or so jumps away. our fleet of 200 + 5 or so capitals iirc, had to move to get a fight which sucked. lag was a plenty and it took me and everyone else an hour almost to get all the way to the fight.
were all geared up at the anticipation of killing some of these serpentis event guys and the assorted norad. serps were mostly in capitals iirc thou i dont know the exact number where as norad supplied most of the tackling and crusier power (think they were light on bs but not 100%)
anyhow we jumped in waited the acustemd 10 mins to load up and were like ok lets rock and roll, warped in on the interlopers.
while this was goin on our capitals joined us taking alot less time to cover the distnace than the hour it took most :) while i was waiting to load up the enemy fleet reports of "omg theyre jumping out!!!" filtered thru comms. the capital fleet of the serpentis had decided to abandoned the norad guys leaving them to be uterly slaughtered. i dont think we took a single loss tbh but u never know. the were totally steam rollered and i think it was characterised by a norad member in local sayin something akin to "where the hell did they go!"
anyhow i felt a bit sorry for norad after that and have always tried to be nice.
the whole evening probally took out hundreds of enemy ships and to only a handfull of losses if any. would have been cool if i had actually loaded any of this but all i saw was the sudden apearence of about 70 norad cans.
the poor guys :(
the whole debacle put back the aridia locals attempt to hit bob for a while, till pretty much the 9cg fun.

the worst pwn i have got my self in was late in the great north war, we where about 50+(not sure along time ago i think it was in system called lek-n or something) fighting some BoB dual mwd cruisers, they managed kill most of our suport. so BoB batleships jump in, only i see was alot of gate activasion then some red and then LAG and finaly ctd , i log back in with in a minute , becaus i droped at gate i warp straigt back in when i log in, so i warp back to a bubble with very very many BoB and not one friendly, i managed to tank for awhile nearly got out of the bubble then boom and my pod warps away. my first large fleet batle in a batleship and maby the most fun in eve i have had.

About 2 months ago I was ratting with my alt hauler on my 2nd PC...just tooling along from one belt to the next, getting lazier and lazier. Finally my (now) wife comes in and starts talking to me and I get distracted cause she's asking me questions THAT MUST BE ANSWERED RIGHT NOW. Instead of warping my Raven to belt x I click warp gang to belt x...bout 20 seconds later my hauler goes pop right next to my Raven with at least 3Km3 of loot. Blah.

Worst one I remember was a corp war we had over a year ago when most of us in corp were noobs, we got war deccecd by B0B0 Monkey Insurance vendors, 11 of us were waiting for them in 11 blackbirds (lol - before ECM was changed) we could/should have jammed the hell out of them - hostile force of around 6-7 jumped in - mainly Battleships. Us beeing mainly noobs all locked the first few on the overview and target jammed...problem was we all chose the same targets so half the hostiles werent jammed, we were barbequed horifically. I still look back and chuckle at it.

It's my first day in CELES and with a shiny new Raven and a head full of +3's I decided to make the trip up to Fountain via Aridia. I'm chatting away to the guys on teamspeak and the talk is about our fights with other corps in the area and the VC alliance we were part of at the time.
Then in a 0.4 in Aridia I come across a ship marked as -10. Sh*t guys its the CEO of one of the corps you were saying we're at war with. He's at a gate in 0.4 in a Vindictor!!! And so with visions of glory and killing an enemy CEO and vindictor I let fly my torpedos.
The guy seemingly bemused by this assault doesn't do anything but then I start taking damage. WTF! the sentries are shooting me......and then the voice comes over teamspeak "Dude, that war ended yesterday!"
Well Sh*t. As I desperately try to align back outta there the Vindicator pilot wakes up and I'm being hammered by his guns too. Thankfully though he doesn't have a scrambler fitted and I make it out on 6% structure with the guys laughter echoing in local.
But thats not even the sad part :) So i'm sitting at a Safespot looking at my smoking ship and I decide I better get some repairs before heading up again. No instas for the area so I warp to nearest station at 15km and am slow boating it to station when a BoB inty lands on top of me. Hmmm aggress, try to flee or continue slow boating to station? I grit my teeth and continue on the path to that station. Inty is still popping away rather ineffectually and doesn't seem to have me webbed so maybe i'll make it through this!
Then with a sinking feeling I watch as local pops by about 20/30. Come on ya slow basta*d move move move!! but its to no avail and very soon I wake up back in Empire minus my implants and minus my shiny new Raven. Was a learning experience though :)

I'm in 9CG minding my own business when I hear of a couple hostile The Kru (Verizana & Ben Hump) Thoraxes jumping in and out of the system hoping for some free ganks. So I undock in some random Raven that I had setup in station. It's loaded with nothing but FoF missiles, but i figure it's enough to take on a couple thoraxes. I warp to the P-Z gate just as they jump out. I decide to stick around because they had jumped back and forth a few times already. A second or two later, a RAT pilot in a crow jumps through... Didn't quite expect that so I didn't know what to make of it. He immediately MWD's at me and begins engaging. 2 seconds later, there's a RAT Incursus, Harpy, Rupture, Munin and an AC Tempest also shootzing me. And I'm gone in under 30 seconds :D

It's like a curse. Most new pilots in CELES get podded within their first 24h in the corp...
My losses were never very funny. Altho it was hilarious, when I took down 2 BS in one day in a Harpy (one being unfitted, the other being Gallente agentrunner) I tried the same on a properly fitted BS. I didn't last long...
Usualy after winning an engagement I should have lost on paper I become very unpatient... and get ganked at the next gate. That's why I started to log off for 30 mins after a few kills to cool down a bit.

Was going through low-sec and came upon a gate camp, of about 10-20 people. I was still cloaked and in a relatively fast ship (Tristan) I hit my insta book mark, and as my ship starts aligning... I hit stop, for no damn reason. Gah! Yeah I got popped. Got my pod away though haha.

Well this was corp loss and barely that but the most embarassing as the guy was still in DAB tags. One of our older friends came back to dab. He explained life had changed for him and he needed to sell the account. It was carrier pilot account and he wanted to ask us first if we wanted to buy it. That was nice of him.
So in the meantime 12 hours of waiting till isk accoutn was online, guess the wait was to long for him. So he either sold the account too a noobie or just didn't care. Because I hear a DAB carrier is in 5zzx sitting there doing nothing. At this time wasn't aware of any fully trained carrier pilots so I inquired a bit more. I found out it was Anke a former pilot (account is no longer same person)of ours. I convoed and the person didn't seem like the Anke I had knew.
I asked the pilot to dock and wait for supprot if he needed to move the carrier. He told me where to shove it etc. very odd.
From there I look to his roles to amke sure he had none. We removed them right away when we found he wanted to sell his account. Sure enough no roles for at least 23 hours so I had to wait a bit more I knew it was close. Trying to spam the expel button with no go.
In this time I asked the pilot to dock or log for a bit. He said he was going too. Next thing I know people are say in corp chat " damn we just lost a carrier". Right away I know it's him. I convo him and ask him wtf he was thinking and as he told me he wouldn't undock again and i was propmtly told to **** off. Then I checked and still had to wait 45 minutes to boot him out of corp(longest time to listen to someone that hasn't a clue tell me how leet he was).
Anyways what happened was an ASCN frig gang was wondering around and found him outside a station. The idiot didn't dock or release fighters even. The killmail is on our KB sadly as he was still in the corp. Look at the killmail and have a laugh at the large armor rep fitted carrier.
I gave props to ascn for the kill, at that time our kill board was well ahead of any losses to ascn, a bil isk ship changes that a little bit and well wtf can you do.
To have such a fitting on carrier and to not even use it while frigs gank you, one of the biggest noobie moves I have seen in EVE and sadly done in DAB tags. You can see when his employment ended and when he lost the carrier... only a few hours different. However the fitting on it was the funniest of all.

was hangind around fd-mlj (back when it was m0o land, and evolution was member of FA) a FA gatecamp ganked me 
and maybe that Scorpion of me CE decided to gank in a friendly fire incident, well I was in RKK back then and from then the relationship of RKK and PA went down the drain and eventually lead into the GNW.
Think thats still one of the most funniest incidents ever ^^. But damm, I was ****ed about that Scorp, just surivived a Fleetfight against Rising Storm alliance and F-E Corporation (back when they were fearsome, somewhere in spring 2004)

An old corpmate who I convinced to come over to the dark side and fly minmatar frigs was playing with his shiny new Wolf with t2 arties. Another (drunk) corpmate was being a smartass, so the Wolf pilot thinks "I'll put a volley into him just cause he's being an ass". <pop> dead frigate with everyone laughing their asses off while the wolf pilot appologizing and going "OMG I didnt think I could do that".
I'm brining a new corp member to 9cg, he was flying an interceptor I think. I was in a phoon. We get the the A2 gate in Kaira, I ask in alliance "whats in a2?" "2 rifters" is the responce. The new guy says, "you want me to jump in and scout it out for you?". "Nah! I can take 2 rifters. Im in a phoon!" Jump in... 20 ship ganksquad of cruisers, inties and AFs. Bye bye phoon.

Worst "zOMG I don't believe that shzl": back in january last year. while in a friendly gang waiting on a gate, RUS gang warps in to same gate, order is given to jump through, I get the hurray target retarget jump but dont actually jump and stay cloaked all the while my ship gets blown to pieces by 4 geddons and what not at close range.
Latest "weeeeee I got ganked": spent too much time camping a huzzah empire system during war, they got together and sprungsded double thron sextuple cruiser mono brutix trapz0r on me. A couple of unlucky jamming failures and my Dominix failed me quicker then I had hoped.

I lost a frieghtor full of everything I owned. Hacs, Bs's, enough t2 gear to fit them 3 times over. I got drunk one night and thought I was badass enough to escort myself out of some hostile place just using a web inty to back me up (also run by me). HAHAHA!
Frieghtor was at about 550k m3.
so roughly I'd say I lost about 500m in battleships, probably about 700-800m in t2 ships, and probably 2 billion isk in mods, plus the uninsured frieghtor. (Yikes eh?)

Got my very cruiser, a bellicose and was on my way to fit it out, might have had an afterburner fitted but nothing else.
Anyways i set destination for torrinos and hit the autopilot button....forgetting that i had it set to shortest route i was semi afk reading forums or something and look up to see 2 jumps left and approaching a gate.
That was when i noticed A: i was several jumps into 0.0, and B: There was someone shooting my shiny new ship....luckily i hit the gate and jumped....straight into EC-P8R, ap warped me to torrinos gate where x13 (all of them i think) were camping the gate.....got an "oh crap" in local then woke up in a new clone back where i started from

I was npcing in insmother in CJ-6MT in my geddon when in my overview a hostile inty from Shinra apears ... I tought... no worries I have here 2 med pulse lasers and the medium drones. That will be enought to deal with him ... and it was ... he warped away in half armour... and I continued in the belt ratting ...(even today I laugh at me with that noob(stupid) decision ... 15 secs passed and a 30 man gang (the inty friends) apeared ... bye bye geddon The kill mail was to big to show all the involved parties, but a arch angel cruiser was alsow listed

My worst gank and most memorable was the very first one.
It was back in the old COD days and I had taken my very first raven up to dek to learn how to make isk ratting in 0.0.
There were reports of bob being around the area, but as was usual in those days the intel was contradictory and no proper ship types etc...
Being completely unaware of what the hell to do if confronted with a real life pvper I just wanted to get back to the safety of the station (1 jump).
There was 2 other bs with me, another raven and a turret bs, but we were all quite n00by.
So we are asking in the regional channel if the gate in next sys was clear and a guy jumps into local from what was a friendly corp (Teddybears I think they were?) We asked and he tells us that a solo b0b cruiser is jumping in with no otther b0b in system.
We all develop rather large ********* at this point and decide to pit our 3bs against his cruiser, however we're not on ts and so only the 2 ravens warp to the gate, needless to say the maller had a 100mn ab on, or sum such and out torps never touched him, however the b0b bs that had been sitting on the gate musta laughed as they jumped in and fried us with lasers in our kin tanked ravens :P
As we were dying the other bs warped to us, just in time to die also.

Was leading a [FREEE] gate camp in HED-. We had a small fleet, Tempest, Raven, Mega and a handfull of cruisers, AF's and Ceptors. Being bored out of our minds for over an hour, I decided to give the fire order an enemy gank squad that included a Scorp, an Ishtar, some ceptors and a Macreial(SP? Faction BS). Out of pure luck I was the only one to die. But I did have all T2 gear on my tempest, and had a full cargo of T2/faction loot that I got the day earlier and forgot to take to empire.

For me it was many moons ago, about 2 years ago i think.
Up in tribute, when one of my corp mates says hes being chased by moo. Doesnt mention any numbers or ship types. Feeling brave I undock, thinking I might scare them. I pure panic my corp mate doesnt use his station insta.
One moo crow turns up behind him, and im thinking is that it. I'll open up on him and scare him off. The the other 6 or so of them turn up. Mates tempest gets blown up. I maange to warp to a planet before i get scrambled, only to find the moo cro already there waiting for me.
They get me down to a sliver of armor (but I popped the crow). Demand that I eject from the ship and they will give me 30M. I looked over the setup, Full rack of Zw-Siege, tech 2 large shield boosters, named nos etc etc. Say 300M ( Which in those days was a lot).
I decided to self destruct thinking it would be instant, and all the loot doesnt get jetted. They proceed to pop the ship anyway, and I think all the nice loot dropped.
99% of the above is said in RP. The Other 1% is personal, and should be taken that way. :P

Losing 10 covert ops in 1.5months.
The first 3 losses were as following:
1. Loss:
Me being in -V- at that time, and my alt not yet being in a -V- friendly corp, I am providing warpin spots for the dreads on RA poses in 1v- system with my covops.
While with my main char, I am busy organizing defence on the system, at each of the 5 gates etc.
Operation went smoothly, poses were getting taken down etc. To impress the bored defenders camping on gates for the last 3 hours, after killing the last pos, Dread control gives order to me to get all pilots to the station, to show off the 12-13 dreads.
I do this... Well, my covops is still at the last pos, in the same grid as the dreads. Guess what the dread group leader does? gangwarp to station ofcourse.
My covops goes with them, gets decloaked by a DREAD, and now i have a 200 man fleet smiling at my covops without standing... good game. I realized what was going to happen 5-10 seconds before.... and i went DONT SHO.... and well then it was too late :DD
2. loss of the covops.
Returning from a long op, i jump my covops into 1v- system, and then do some other stuff on my main account.
After 10 mins or so, i go like OH ****, i forgot my covops. I swap back to it, to find myself in a pod.
I didn't even get killed by a player... the gate rats ganked it...
3. loss of the covops.
Forgot covops uncloaked at a gate, while RA sniper fleet warped in.
Etc etc... now you can calculate, using the current covops cloak II price, how much 10 covops cloak II cost... :P
Luckily, i have become smarter and my latest covops has served me for about 3 months now :)

Some gangmates were sniping at the HED-GP gate and I was the lucky one to tackle people as they came in. I was in my trusty Rifter and jumped in with a Sleipnir. I went to tackle it and my exact words were "I've got three on him and I'm down." I was being a little too overconfident and tried to get past a mainly BS gate camp in my rifter. I got popped and podded by a pair of tempests with artillery.
Another time there was a Huzzah dictor camp in HED-GP. My corpmates told me to hop in and get them to aggress, which I did with much excitement like any noob should. On may way back in a shiny new Rifter, I passed a hauler convoy with very little support. I jumped into HED with them and they gang warped without aligning. I picked off one hauler that I happened to be right next to. As I was checking that can, another hauler jumped in and we got that one too. Ended up netting about 1b in mods and blueprints from that camp.

Heh, i was in a small gang of 3bs's and 3 targets in next system, 3 rax's. we know they are on the gate and think easy meal here. "jump" so we all jumped and then....
my gangs mates both crashed to desktop when they pressed jump so there i was in a tempest all alone in the midst of 3 blaster thorax's with 5 heavies deployed each....nearly killed 1

I was in a safespot in venal during the GNW.
Roughly 100+ people in local, so I decide to head back to fade through teh back road. I scan the gate, all clear. I talk to phonix on vent for about 2 minutes, then warp to the gate. I come out of warp in the middle of a 90 man blob.
I proceed to die rather quickly, losing my precious megathron. :(
Thats probably my worst gank...
I've had lots of "Please wait 17 seconds while we adjust your temperal flux inhibitor" moments, and lost *tons* of implants that way.
Those are always great moments.
*Tons refers to 2 bil isk in 2 weeks. :(

1) pre 0.0 days. I was running (what was then a 4 billion isk raven) a Full spec raven with ALL dread gurista mids and lows in full npc set up. I was agent whoring in a 0.7. A real noob who had been very friendly in local asked me to train him. With the aim of breaking up the monotony of solo agent whoring i agreed. I gave him the VERY improtant task of webbing my targets (he felt ike he was a VERY importnat part of the process) - - - During the training I decide that I should simulate some 'classic' noob errors that i used to make - like for example accidently leaving ones rep on and running out of cap. So with my GANGED friend i use my 30km nos on his little FULLY tech 1 rifter for fun.
As the warning message flashed up - - regarding a decrease in sec etc i though - uh o - this must be a mistake as 2 concord inties and 2 bs spawn on my bows and start firing. Now this raven was TANKED for angels (all damage) so i think - ok - no problem - after all this is a mistake. I will have to kill concord as i am scrammed. I quickly dispose of the bs, and inties in literally 6 or 7 salvos (3 DG bcus) and think GREAT i am away - get close to station and dock to sort this put. Sadly as the last concord ship dies a SMALL posse of about 10 bs and 20 inties spawn on my bows and i get my ass handed to me in about 15 seconds. IF i had a picture of my face when it happened i would be more than amused i feel!!!
PVP days. God so many (as i enjoy leeroys)
there was the time i lead a gang for the first time in my life (after pvping for no more than a week) - so all full of confidence i take 30 - 40 frigs south. Most of us were noobs, there were about 15 experiened pilots though. I i recall the name of tekkyhead, emno, sorja amoungst others. -
So we get to the very BOTTOM of eve and as we are moving so slowly etc we have collected quite a large chase group. We turned on them a few times, got a few - lost a few - etc - - - we then got chased across to run up towards azn and jumped into a system with ANOTHER large all ship type gang waiting for us in system. Several problems came to light. i ONLY had bms clockwise around the loop - NOT anti colckwise - (the way i was going) - i was VERY inexperienced and had no experienced Fcs with me to take over. I am literally STUCK with now about 30 left on my side rammed in by at least 70 infront and 40 behind. I was BRICKING myself - felt VERy bad. anyway - got some advise on ts etc, and the decision was taken - - lets swarm the gate - - so (in my noobness) - i say - right guys - we are going for it - we will warp in - burn to gate and as soon as u are there wait for jump command.
In we warp - i am shaking - as alot of peeps are - oddly enough on the gate were most of the 2 hostle gangs. VERY FEW of them opened fire - so i am thinking HAHAHA we got away with this - - and order - FLEET JUMP. In we go!!! - - well surpirse surpirse - - 10 med bubbles and their fleet jump too - -
I SHOUT EVERYONE FOR THEMSELVES WARP OUT WARP OUT - - we desperately try and get out - - i say - sorja - are u out - - NO I AM NOT OUT I AM STUCK _ WE HAD NO SCOUT _ UR A NOOB etc etc (( LOLOL))

THANKS TO THE MARVOULOUS TEKKYHEAD (who was the ONLY pilot to return with a ship) the flag of IRON got home safe - - sadly not a single other person survived - -- and also for better or worse the dangerous files were created!!
OWNED - was SUCH fun
EVERYONE on both sides had a SUPERB night, and i personally paid ALL the pilots for theeir losses as i had thrnown ther ships to the wall!!!

my worst gank are tied I think
1. I undocked in a close-range gank-tempest with kin/therm hardners, plates and shield extenders to kill EvilThugs mega-blaster (I think it was) from a station where he where along with an AF..
First.. I had not PvP'd so, when I pressed F1-F8, it said that concord might be mad and that I had to be carefull.. Check boxes, open fire.. ehh.
Second... No amo in guns/launchers (6x800mm T2 I think it was) Reload.. 10 sec delay.. Shield going down..
Third.. I start shooting, he launches drones , I go DOH!!! and launch drones to.
Four .. he warps away, deep into structure..
Five .. the AF, that I can't hit, have me waprscrambled, and kills me..
That leaves me to the next gank...
I get a new tempest.
Fills it with named guns.
I fly into Detorid and logs.
Next day, I log in at my lunch-break.
I go to a 8/10 complex and find 2 RAT. there. (scorp + dmgdealer)
I warp away, I bluescreen.
I log back in after 20 min( slow ass laptop to boot up ), see that I am 40-something million isk richer. I don't bother looking at my pod..
Now, that tempest, NEVER fired 1 round from building, to insureing, to die'n.

Ok, well the worst corp ganking I was ever in was in my old corp when it was in the Fade Union.
Phonix was at the time leading Death Row Inc and we knew he was heading up towards C4C, and it was decided that the Fade Union was gonna make a stand and fight (something FU at the time did rarely)
So, we're all at the station and just waiting for everything to kick off, the numbers weren't really in our favour but not by much on the whole it looked like being a fairly even fight on that front, then DIE warp in and the battle begins, it was at this time the most shameful thing I've ever seen happen in Eve, a good 30-40% of the people camping the station DOCK, yes they docked saved their own skins and left the rest of us to get royally hammered. Our corp had 10 BS's comitted to that fight, I got out in 50% structure and one other ship survived, everyone else was toasted and quite a few sent back on an express clone jump back to empire. It was at that point we all swore we'd fired our last shot on behalf of FU and it was, less than one month later FU disbanded.
My worst individual ganking I'd have to say was very recent, only last week I'd say really. We're in the middle of an empire war and I'm in Ibura and only one jump to go until I get back to where I wanna be which is Torrinos. I see a war target making a run for the gate to Torry so I jump in after him fairly convinced of a good kill.... Unfortunately for me there was an enemy camp of 20 ships in the other side of the gate. I'm in an Eagle, 15-20km from them all so I aint gonna hit anyone for anything, I actually said "I'm dead" on TS before I even uncloaked. 30 Secs (if that) later I'm in my pod, which I got out without any problems. Complacency got me there.

I was with FIX and X13 had an empire war against us. So I took my brand new Cyclone battlecruiser (first ship powerful enough for 0.0 ratting I ever head) and headed down from Metropolis region to Querious. I had sunk pretty much all my money into this ship, thinking that I would earn it back easily now that I had a ratkiller :)
So I moved down the 40-odd jumps, dodged 2 X13 empire gatecamps, made it through 3-F, and arrived in my corp's little deadend system in Querious.
It was late and I should have logged but I really WANTED to kick some rat butt before I went to sleep, so I warped around, found a spawn in an ice belt and moved in at full speed. Only after being webbed and kicked around by several battleships who hit me harder than I would have thought possible in my worst nightmare I panicked a little and tried to warp out to our POS. My Cyclone turned slowly, headed for a large junk of ice and started banging against it, not jumping out. By this time I was seriously into armor (not good when you're a shield tank) and I hit the power button on my PC. After waiting for a couple of minutes I switched back on - and was rewarded with the sight of a flashy pod :P
4 Weeks worth of isk gone without ever killing a single rat ;P

I have been killed quite a few times
But this one time I was in Passari, it was late at night and i was tired like hell. Found KilRock & co from Angel Deep flashing all red outside there station. So I decided to snipe them a bit with my T2 fitted sniper Tempest. I keep shooting at their Battleships all the while im aligned at full speed to my safespot. Sure enought a cover ops ship makes a warp in point for Angel Deep pilots. I see a Domi coming really close really fast. I hit warp to my safespot bookmark thinking "hehehe fooled you". When my tempest start turning instead of warping i realize that i was aligned in the wrong direction. I got slaughtered in about 20 seconds

I've got a bunch, but two stand out in my mind as complete and total ganks:
The first one was a day after a failed small group op. Our gang had about ten people in it and was forced to safespot when a 20-30 man RA gang showed up. After warping from safespot to safespot for about an hour, I had to log to do RL stuff. I logged back on the next day, asked in alliance if there were any hostiles in the area where I had logged off, and was told "no".
Alrighty, then. I warped to an inline safe and insta'd through on my way home.
The first indication I had that something was wrong was when the jump took longer to finish loading than I expected. The second was the fact that local went from listing 1 person to 12 when it changed systems. I finished loading and saw ten ships flashing red on my overview, mostly battleships. I tried to wait them out, but eventually my cloak broke and I tried to get my raven out. Scrambled, webbed, jammed, pwned.
Thanks guys. Next time don't pass along intel as correct unless you're absolutely certain it's still good.
The second incident was even worse. RA had been forming up a gang in Konora, so -V- forces moved to intercept with about 20 ships set up for long range combat. I logged on to find out that RA was in N-RAEL with about 35 ships and that our forces had to safespot.
On orders from our FC, more people gathered in 1V- and headed towards N-RAEL, including me in my sniper tempest. We made it to 28Q when scouts reported 10 more RA coming up behind from Insmother. Our 10-man gang safespotted while we waited for further intel on shiptypes and the like.
At this point, the FC decided that we would try to concentrate our forces and ordered us to get ready to warp to the gate and jump into N-RAEL. The safespotted gang in 1V- warped to the 28Q gate, and the order was given for us to warp to the N-RAEL gate and jump in.
We warped to the gate, but the insta was off because the safespot wasn't perfectly inline. We approached from about 10km when a hostile domi warped in. We popped him, and the thorax that came after him. We heard on TS that the gang in N-RAEL was being engaged by RA at the gate and that we needed to get there as soon as possible. We reached the gate, ask for confirmation that they were still engaging. The FC didn't respond, but one of the members of his gang replied that the fight was still going on.
We jumped.
WTF? Lots of -V- cans, but no actual -V- ships. Oh, and the entire RA fleet was still there. ****.
Even though there were no bubbles and I never got tackled, I never had time to finish aligning and hit warp before they popped me.

3 months old in my first BS, when the POS were implemented long time ago. My corp was the first one capturing the station in Period Bases and we tried to defen. It was the time when m0o invaded CFS space and just poped anyone they came accross.
Well proffessional fighter vs lot of noobs. We outnumbered them at least 3:1. They were around 20+ and we had easily 60 BS. Too bad only 7 pilots of them in TS ^^.

The gank that stuck with me the most...
A while back, when we (KIA) were about to co-found ERA, I was up in Branch in an Apoc. That Apoc helped me a long way for the between-contract money making. And then came the day ERA was founded. As some of you may know the first battles of ERA were fought against D2 around BKG. Obviously I needed my Apoc in a fleet fitting down there. So off I went from Branch to the IMK station we already got through HUN. After loads of jumps in a - let's face it - rather friggen slow battleship, I arrive in IMK. After checking the local market and checking what I've got with me I conclude I still need an item or two. What do I do then? Buy a cheap frigate? Lend a fast little ship? Fit stabs? Nope... none of those. Still can't think why I didn't fit stabs or took a faster ship, but ah well, as they say, hindsight is a beautiful thing.
So then, off I go from IMK to ... some other system. Thankfully I had insta's. So, off I go, jump, warp, jump, warp, till I arrive. Then back. Jump. Warp. Jump. Warp. Jump.......... hmmmm... this Celestial Apocalypse camp wasn't here 2 minutes ago... Somehow noone in alliance chat knew about the camp yet either. Anyway, there I am, sitting cloaked, on top of a bunch of battleships, and inties, and cruisers... figuring I've got no stabs, cursing, and deciding to make a run for it. Obviously, it doesn't take 'm long to scramble me... and after that... it's just a bit of tanking in my fleet setup ship. Not even an afterburner on me. I think I was too shocked at my own stupidity of not fitting a WCS for the quick jump that I didn't even get a shot off. Ah well...
Somehow - before departing from IMK - I figured to check if my ship's insured before the big battle, and decided for insuring it rather than against, thankfully.

I was working with FIX trying to slow down BoB's destruction of the POS egg.
I had ts running on my laptop, which was lagged to hell from the covert ops ship I had watching the BoB fleet. So my TS was a bit screwed up.
A ramshackle FIX fleet was poised to jump in, with BoB sitting on the other side, ready to BBQ them. The FIX guy in charge said "DON'T JUMP."
I heard "-- JUMP!"
So I jumped in on 40 some odd BoB support ships in my Celestis.
I typed in local, "YOU'RE ALL UNDER ARREST!" and waited for a bit. Once my heart was pounding properly and the timer was about to uncloak me, I selected my ship and ejected. Then I warped off to a planet. As I left grid I saw the cruiser explode behind me.

Was back in ATUK when we had empire wars with SE and a bunch of other alliances.
I undocked my geddon in agil and then switched window screen to an alt, completely forgetting that Carth was now a sitting outside the station :/.

About 3 weeks ago I was moving a domi down to southern Arida. jumped through the Hier gate and 16 battleships/HAC's ganked me. I didn't have a prayer. I wasn't concerned about the domi just wanted to get my pod out. The lag however was aweful and my pod and a full set of Snake implnats went down the tubes.
Oh well I wanted to get some Tals for a nos domi anyhow. |

Back in the FE/PA/NBSI war ... i came from the Disco drunk and stoned, i decided i wanted to pvp, asked if anyone wanna come with me to hpa, gathered round 8 bs`s with me ... ok we arrive in HPA all good, then i hear inside of me " ATUK On-Line! " and i was like wtf warp us to the POS , a Delta Team gang was coming from PF and atuk where camping 992- so i decided we should go snipe the delta gang ... we go in .. delta jump in ... primary Awalance  ok ok .. .he is almost going down ... LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG .... Atuk fleet warped in .. .i warped gang to the POS, Awalance escaped in 10% hull tho he didnt warp ... we did ... and then at the pos ....we where outnumbered 4 to 1 i think and i decide ( Wisky + Cola 4tw) to tell everyone to log for 20 mins.
1 still stayed online .. and after 5 mins atuk posted on local all our bs + pod killz ... yea we still had aggro and they had 3 cloakers me thinks ... worst day of my eve-life TBH.

We were in a safe spot preparing to engage a V fleet of about 50 ships including 2 dreads.
I went to a bio break and when I returned I found my self alone in the ss and heard in Ts people calling targets. I immediatelly gave the order to warp to the gang commander ... and while my ship was jumping to them the gang leader orders to warp out !!!!...
I landed and there they are, V support just at about 3000m or less and a bunch of hostile Bs and 2 dreads happily locking me ... I died very quickly

I was just about to log out of boredom in period basis but thought I wanted to check what was behind that gate first. So I jump through my scorpion into a bob sqad. 'OMG Im so dead!'.
But apparently my jumping in triggered their jump out, and they didnt notice local going up by one. 'WOW Im gonna make it! THANK GOD'
Left at the gate were four late frigs, 'Hmmm what if...'. I start moving towards my safespot, 3 frigs jump out but the fourth spot me and surely enough he attacks. 'Ahahah stoopid bob your army cannot help yuu now!' I set my neutralizers, web, scramble and all the other crap I had anti-frig (tis was my frig hating period) and his inty popped like a peach in a volley or two (pre missile nerf).
Now lets loot the can.
I lost a full set of +3 implants but I still play while drunk.

SA's first strike on BoB. I had just joined SA and had just arrived down the pipe in my brand new deimos when i see in alliance chat that ppl were gonna go strike BoB. Ok, why the hell not i think......
We go and in PR-8CA we engage a few BoB members at some gate.... We engage and they are going down fast.....
Then i get targetted and shot at. So i warp out and was warping back when i hear on ts, "did everyone get out?" and i go wtf?
When i arrive on gate overview is full of hostiles.....
Deimos got instapopped.

Well my first stupid way of gettin ganked was in Tenerifis in jv1(I think) when there was still xetic and I was apart of a corp called the Black Ops. Rusteams dual mwd raven gang came for a visit and I was like the 3rd day into 0,0. So I was outside the station watching everyone safespot, then Evil thug warps in at 60km then approaches my corpmsates rupture with the old divebombing way and instapopping it. So me and a crow(I was in a rifter) tackled Evil thugs Raven hold it down for a good 2 mins and yelling for help but nobody came so we stopped when Xahypyk came in a raven too or was it a moa i cant remember. So i Warped off and instadocked to get my nbar caracal and getting it blown up few secs later.
The second one was in Immensea when we were sitting in a SS wich one of our gang members was a Rusteam spy so their whole gang warped in and instapopped my scorp with like 8-10 geddons.
Third one was in z-h in Immensea when the russians invaded it. We had a fleetbattle goin and were getting raped like the usual xetics did back then. I had to warp out at one point and I asked on TS if I can come back they sayd Yes, so I did in my shiny apoc and when I came out of warp I was alone at the station staring at Geddons and getting myself blown up in 4 seconds...:(.
Lil bit after that I left xetic and joined Shadow company and from there to Supremacy where I saw how they really lead fleets by thol >_<
Back then the game was great now its all POS Crap wich only bores you to death.

Still embarrased about this one.
Back when ISS and CDC were still shooting at each other, I had just bought my first battleship (Dominix!) and was moving it to Marginis. I had the now-standard nos, EW, and armor tank setup on the damn thing. As I'm making the region jump from Curse into Catch (think the Catch system is 1P-) a CDC Vagabond sees me and starts chasing me, tackling me at the warp-in point from the other gate.
At this point, I'm scared ****less and my hands are shaking soo bad I could hardly hit the keys.
I put nos on the Vagabond and he's in armor when his friend in a Marachiel shows up!
Now I'm ****ting my pants.
The first salvo from the Marachiel takes me into low armor and the second one finishes me off.
The shame of it all is that I didn't turn on my tank and I didn't even launch drones!
I'll never live that one down.

This isn't a PvP gank but it's just as bad if you ask me. I've been playing for about 3 months now had just finished my learning skills so I moved on to ships. I trained for a moa with only light skills and I'm think Damn! I'm UBER! so in my old corp everyone would farm this 5/10 RLD complex in low sec. So i as if I can tag along and take down some of the smaller ships. Everyone is cool with it. So I take my UNINSURED Moa (you can see where this is going) and follow them in. The first 2 area's had already been cleared out and we all warpped in to the third area. 15 bs's are sitting there following orders I move away from all of them so we can begin to attack them. As we move away I think hell there in small groups I'll just start working on the support to save them time. So I lock the nearest cruiser and start firing... 2 sec later every hostile ship has locked me! I say O **** and try to warp I have to say it's amazing how fast those things can cook a Moa...

was npcing when 3 xelas logged on. Me and a buddy started trying to find them, but they wouldnt come out of their pos. So my buddy goes 'hey, do you want those instajumps I've been meaning to copy you'

We had just invaded NORAD space and I decided to take a Ghost Fleet from PF-346 out into the surrounding areas using a scout to jump in first to check ahead.
We werent finding anything for a half hour or more.The scout asked me if I wanted him to jump in and I was like nahh dont bother it's dead around here..
i gave the order to jump adn well we didnt last long against 8 D.N.A. Scorpions and other ships gatecamping the ONE system I didnt send a scout into ..

Worst gank for me was flying to empire space down south and i flew into a FIX gatecamp (with bubbles) in my Cov ops buzzard. alas something was new enough to uncloak me so i lost the ship, cov ops cloak II and +3 and +4 willpower/perception implants. I almost cried :(
However i am always most embaressed.

I've died so much in my eve career its not even funny.
The most recent one that stands out was to BoB.
Late Late night/Early hours after some insanely long gatecamp, small gang sat on the gate in deklien during the waning part of the NFC war.
We are all chatting on TS larking about, listening to amusing songs etc etc.
Into my brain creeps a piece of intel from 3 hours ago (que whispy drunken memory effect) Bob fleet in (random) system headed north.
I focus my bleary eyes on local as a small red target appears in - "Hey guys a Bob Cepter.. get ...." cloning.
We all missed the fact the only the cepter decloaked but local had actually jumped by 15, and 14 of them were Battleships etc,
I don't think anyone got out alive or killed a BoB pilot, Half of us were sat in our own bubble etc.
Was comedy gold.. still laugh about it now.

Most recently, I wandered around 9-UYH4, looking for kills after my mate had been on a killing spreee (fraps of 11 ship & pod kills in 5 minutes). I get a shout, come watch the carnage. Jump next door, leaving the blob behind, go sae and laugh at the wanton destuction and unnecessary violence. Get back, not podded, gate is clear. Jump back into 9-UYH4.
This is taking a long time to load.

I just sat there before I decloaked, wondering just how dead I was about to be. Okay, not so much wondering as cursing every god ever and whatever crooked saleman had let these slaves get guns and uppity ideas.
I then get a slideshow of my shiny raptor exploderising.
I think I'll upgrade before I try PVP again :( 512mb of ram and a Radeon 9600 just aren't enough anymore.
The real annoying thing is that I had warped to the gate they'd previously been sitting on. At 15km. And somehow survived. Stupidly jumping to my doom really ruined my day. Well, I suppose I'm learning. Or making someone rich

Gang warping a POS deployment squad to the wrong moon. Where a WMKR POS immolated the hauler gang as efficently as it could. Those killmails made us laugh.

The other day, to Curse Coalition. Seeing as my corp has recently joined RISE I was trying to sneak my indy full of stuff up the Curse pipe (due to ASCNS sudden "We now gatecamp HED-GP 24/7" policy). I was one jump away from safety, having spent 2 hours being SUPER-careful and spending a long time cloaked at planets while my covops corpmate scouted for me. One jump from safety, BAM, 30 man fleet appears from ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE (apparently ) and bye-bye 450 mils worth of t2 and faction guns and mods. Ouch!
Hope you enjoy it CC - but could I have my tag collection back? I spent a year collecting those

MmMMm, I was in 9CG6-H in my Caracal assisting BOB with an operation, trying to remove a hostile SA/HF/Smash/Vox/Imperium/yadayada fleet. The two fleets began playing warp-in-warp-out tag with each other till the hostile fleet warps off and we lose track of them. Orders were given for the support to fan out on the gates and scout for hostile movement. With my Heavy Missiles I'm able to hit out to 120km so I warp to the P-Z gate at 100km and begin to help with the scouting. I notice that I'm the only cruiser support at the gate, and I'm the only one 100km off. All the other frigates and inties are right on the gate.
All is good, then suddenly my screen locks up. This is an oh **** moment, as my laptop kind of sucks, and is prone to overheating and crashing. Sometimes it's just on the slow side, so I decide to give it a second to see if it can recover. 5 seconds later, there's 70 red squares that suddenly appear right on top of the P-Z gate, 100km from me and I notice my computers doing an awesome 8 fps. Next thing I notice I'm in my pod back inside 9CG station. Gankz0red.

A2-V27: Me in BB enemy in BB.
I was solo camping the gate (on top of it). Being the total pvp noob i am (also lack skills) i see he's hitting me much harder then i'm hitting him. But i'm tanked with shield extenders and armour plating (i like a surprice). As i'm getting halfway into armour his BB starts loosing large chunks of armour. I smell succes!
He then jams me and i panic sitting there watching him pummel my armour. Fortunatly the adrenaline rush didn't stop my brain completely and as i'm almost into structure i remember the function of fof missiles. I reequip madly and launch them all.
As all my launchers launch their second volley my structure goes splat and i find myself sitting in the egg next to the gate with a rush and a pounding heart not being able to believe that i didn't make it when we both were into structure. At that moment i see my last missiles hit home.
Hi BB explodes and i think we both did a lol in local. I was too shook up after that to recall how i got home.

Here's a tale of woe:
I was a noob flying an exequeror, not long in Federal Navy Academy and out of tutorial. I was doing lvl 1 missions (told you I was a noob) and I had to make a quick delivery into low sec OLD MAN STAR system. I successfully made the delivery and on my way there and back I saw a flashing red pirate camping the gate with a 5-10 million bounty, I think, or thereabouts. So, I get back into safe space and let some of my noob friends in FNA chat know about this guy and I suggest that maybe about 4-5 of us should go out there to try and nab him so we can split the bounty. That was a LOT of money to us back then (LOL).
Little did I know, that this guy's flunky pirate corp -- i.e., RED ALERT CORP -- had actually taken the trouble to put spies in the noob corp channel of FNA. And under the guise of being a fellow noob in our corp, encouraged all of us to "go for it," then alerted his prat pals that we were coming. (the sissy prat pilots were Enjoi, Luthair Stonedog, Flyer11)
This made little sense to me then, and even less sense to me now that I have been playing for about 8-9 months. We had nothing of any worth. Our ships were stupid little noob set ups, cheap, and with low-end tech 1 mods. None of us had any ISK with which to pay any ransom. This is about the state of nobs still hanging in corp chat. But the prat corp seemed to take the trouble to put spies in FNA noob corp to simply deal costly damage to noobs getting started.
We warped into OLD MAN STAR -- our numbers, tactics, and precise moment of jump all known by the guy we thought was our friend and fellow noob. Our ships consisted of my funny exequeror, a celestis, I think, a caracal, and two more stupid little noob ships. We jumped and the immediately were set upon by 4 attack ship gankers. It was a joke and all over within maybe 3 seconds. All 5 of our ships were lost and I believe 4 of us podded, which resulted in us noobs losing precious implants and ships (at least to us). It was my first PvP experience. My first death. My first ship lost. It was a terrible night and I felt horribly guilty for leading so many others to their deaths as well. And then, to make it worse, the prat spies revealed themselves in noob corp chat and smack talked us.
Pirating for ISK, valuable ships, mods, and other commodities in haulers is one thing, but sticking spies in a noob channel to simply be able to gank noobs seems, in my opinion, rather pathetic. Then, to smack talk like what had happened was anything of great accomplishment, is just sad. Even afterward it seemed to provide no end of amusement to the prats who proceeded to post on the eve-pirate pages their fun-filled account of kiling a bunch of noobs (see http://www.eve-pirate.com/index.php?/authors/18-Spathi). It was like an adult beating up a child. As one of the prats said, "Well there were only 4 of us, even though 1 of us could have taken them all out."
I can only wonder how such slobs would fair in a real battle against real pilots in half way decent ships. Ah well, Eve is made up of all kinds, some rather pathetic.

So I made a whole bunch of isk one day and found my way to Yulai to buy some equipment for my rupture(s) and tempest. So on my way back I ask in alliance... is B-VIP clear?
Response... not anything that I know of... right after map chances I think... looks clear on map... no hostiles in local... ok jump in, besides I made it though the last gate camp... 25-30 person cruiser/interceptor gank fleet decends on my rupture filled with ~200 mil of tech2 mods... got my pod out though!

Well the worst i'd have to be my first ship loss in eve.
i was on my second week of play, oh so long ago, just got my first Omen outfitted it the best i could. no more then 15 mins later a pirate warps in starts killing everyone in the system. thought i could take on the world, ended up taking a free trip to the clone vat. sad thing was i didn't have an up to date clone. thank goodness i was a newbie

Been camping a gate with 20BSs or so for 2 hours. LD leading. He hands over lead to me "to go and repair for 2 mins in Konora". I start see usual RA snipe BS chars logging in. Our guys start to leave the camp to go to bed. I start calling LD to get his but back so we can be on our way. 1 2 3 10 1111 times no reply. I now see an interdictor on scanner.
More time passes. I start getting angry with the situation. Stupidly dont want to remove gang from gate while "handover" leading.
I say on TS: "guys we will have to move cause they ll bring the snipers and then drop that dictor on us. We dont have enough tech II ammo people left to make them run quick and we cant stop them warping out it will be pointless". More desperate calls to LD over TS, FC chat, ally chat, and BBC (lol). No reply.
I order a complicated manoeuvre that was supposed to land us on a different camp spot on the other side of the gate. The "warp to" guy didnt get it and we end up all wrong and have to regroup at the exact same point in the end. I get even more agitated. My brain works at the same revvs as an ape's at this point.
I ask for regroup and allignment to warp out point. More frantic attempts to reach LD (who was obviously AFK and wouldnt have minded me taking the guys away ffs but I am in experiencing a stress induced brain fart.)
RA snipers get in there outnumbering us 2-1 now and with nobody to tackle and make them stay. I order immediate allignment. Half our BSs are still not moving. Interdictor in overview. I know we have to go. if I initiate gang warp all will get out cause the sphere will be launched after initiation but some of the BSs are not alligned at all! wtf?
I am tired and angry and stressed and react like ultimate n00b. Ask support to attack the dictor and not even call primary I am called primary and I feel so disgusted for seeing happen exactly what I predicted would happen without doing anything about it I wanna puke. I throw the mike and headphones across the room and switch the monitor(!) off.
1] Loss of a Mega that incredibly survived over 100 fleet battles (with no stabs)since September '05 - check. (this was in May or June '06)
2] My first [and last] defeat while leading as -V- FC - check
3] Reacting like a complete N00b and getting people killed - check
4] Losing a BS wihout even firing off a shot with 4 enemies locked for 20 secs or more - check
5] Resigning -v- FC commission the very same day without having lost ANY other engagement in the 2 months or so I did it - check
6] 1 week (more or less) off EvE - check.
Yup my sadest moment in eve by far... for all to see

I was aping to the HED-GP gate in Keberz in my Curse, pressed ALT + F1 to try and turn after burner on, turns out I activated my nos instead without noticing. I then clicked randomly on the screen and managed to lock a collective battleship. Cue a bit of swearing as four sentry guns open up on my ship :'(.
Luckily I had a corp mate with his alt able to scoop my faction mods!
It gave the mega pilot a good laugh :D.
