Getting x2 Errors.
First:
when starting "Eve_Dragon [Build: 2.12.4551]"
I get a poppupp stating:
( Unable to install or locate required version of D3DX.)
( Click Yes to continue, but the application may not run.)

I doo have the latest DirectX version 9c, and not getting any problems like this anywere else.?
So I answer Yes off course. and resume into logginn.
At the login screen I get the status:
( STATUS: #1 IN QUEUE. CONNECT TO CONTINUE. 34 PLAYERS VERSION 2.12.4551 )
So I connect,
And there it doesnt gets past the 'authentication' window/bar, and returns.
( The server failed to acknowledge the client's response to the
server's challenge within a reasonable amount of time )
after about 3-5 minutes waiting.
'also on a sidenote, the client seems to get temporarilly stuck when i use the dropdown menu to select server'? not a clue why.
Just checking if anyone else is getting these errors, and if they have found a solution etc..

wondering if this D3DX. file that is being reffered to is actually the D3DX9 dll.?
might be some new definition.. but then again... this aint my field, so im just talking out of my arse here...
[Edit: well, the server is down and prolly some changes coming upp again.. ]

ok.. #queue seems too work now.. getting 5#Queue, and 62players online,
and getting the response, that the cluster has reached maximum..
sounds allot better than not getting anything at all

Downloading the uppgraded DirectX fixes this.

Requiers no reboot.

To the OS thing, Im using xp pro, and Ive been getting the
"The server failed to acknowledge the client's response to the
server's challenge within a reasonable amount of time" answer from sisi, for the last couple of days now..
might be a service pack thing.. not sure.. need to look into that, but if somone knows, they may respond and let more ppl know if there's a fix for this.
ps. sharkbait. yupp I had this included in my last buggreport including the dxdiag...

well, my issue has partly been solved.
Problem:
As noted above and several threads, Ive been unable to get any farther than the authentication screen, when trying to log into sisi.
Solution:
use a different account.
(worked fine).
** still just wondering if I podded a dev or something? **
