ok, it's not really a a server that is powered by dragons. should really be "SISI Hamster server"
anyways, as the few people that do ready the stickies know, we released a new unicode client which is going to be needed for TQ soon. We have just got sisi fixed and updated to version 4551. as soon as the patches are ready they will be available on the patches site. they are currently being built. if you are reading this an hour after it's creation date, then they are built so go download and test like you never tested before.

Lets hope the server stability was fixed better
Oh, and the install program for this patch is all in a non-English language so you got to guess at the right buttons to push to install it. Might wanna fix that too _________________________________________

It¦s a constant up and down with the server. At the moment I¦m waiting in the char-selection for the loading of my system.
With 4551 foreign languages were enabled (like in my case German), which generates a big amount of errors (in logfile)

Getting x2 Errors.
First: when starting "Eve_Dragon [Build: 2.12.4551]" I get a poppupp stating: ( Unable to install or locate required version of D3DX.) ( Click Yes to continue, but the application may not run.) | Yes | | No | I doo have the latest DirectX version 9c, and not getting any problems like this anywere else.? So I answer Yes off course. and resume into logginn.
At the login screen I get the status: ( STATUS: #1 IN QUEUE. CONNECT TO CONTINUE. 34 PLAYERS VERSION 2.12.4551 ) So I connect, And there it doesnt gets past the 'authentication' window/bar, and returns.
( The server failed to acknowledge the client's response to the server's challenge within a reasonable amount of time )
after about 3-5 minutes waiting.

'also on a sidenote, the client seems to get temporarilly stuck when i use the dropdown menu to select server'? not a clue why.
Just checking if anyone else is getting these errors, and if they have found a solution etc..

Yep, i got both of them... i fixed the first one by downloading June 2006's Redistributable copy of Direct X 9.0c (even though i was allready running DirectX 9.0c) and it fixed that problem ... though now my regular eve client seems to just disappear sometimes when im loading ... lol
Still yet to find a solution to the second problem :(

Just use the Kali option, and enter the build as 4551. At least that is what i have done.
And Shark, maybe check what has been bug reported before screaming at us as you would find that, i know i have at least, reported everything i have said here previous to this post... _________________________________________

Im occasionally having the status connection problem (when you select singularity it says status unavailiable) but if i just toggle back between tranq-sing a few times it reads ok. The Status is now reading Incompatible(build) but i can still connect fine. In a completely unrelated sidenote [#1 in que status (usually) woot ]

i know whats been bug reported and what hasn't normally. but there are so many bug reports with useless information, so we perfer to have loads of bug reports so we can find out whats happening or do get some good 1st come through.
you have no idea how many "a mission doesn't work" or "doing stuff breaks stuff" type bug reports which without a reproduction, logfile, mission name, agent name and screenshot, there just a waste of time. if we get loads of well detailed reports about the same issue, then we just assign them all to the defect about the bug or create a defect and assign them.
oh and some people that have posted are complaining about DX9 problems, well we need the bug reports so we can find out what gfx card you have.

Yeah, your'e right, ive got no idea but i can imagine I think the "Dx9" problem was more of guess at what the problem might be as it just states in a pop-up window when you click the .exe file that it cannot install or locate the required version of D3DX. You click Yes to continue anyway and it loads the launcher as normal. This has only been happening since the patch today though, not before. _________________________________________

I still can't get in. I think I'm going to cry. The server never responds in a timely fashion. I say fire this server and hire a new one.
EDIT- Looks like it went down. I'm getting the Proxy Not Connected to Sol Servers that we were told means the server is down.
