applied new patch. server status is shown as "unknown" and no connection. im assuming that the server is still down?

This is just a breif FYI for those of you getting "Status: Unknown." I would like to point out that with a little rampant curiosity I have determined that this message is (as you may have guessed, and as may have already been explained) the same as getting "Could not connect to 87.237.38.x...," and thus indicates the server is down. It may also be used to indicate something else but this is the only thing I am aware it indicates at this time.

Nah Sharky's in england, We dont go pretty girls here they either have more facial hair than us guys or they walk round in adidas tracksutes and burbbery caps saying "wot you looking at" in a voice more butch than Grant and Phil mitchel combined (non uk'ers wont know who they are).
Atleased thats what there like in cumbria.

Just patched to *53 and after I start the client I am getting some kind of a dialog box on the logon screen. I cannot read message neither in the box nor in the buttons.
When I click left button on that dialog - client closes and my windows regional settings dialog opens. When I click on the right button the dialog dissapears but the bottom area of the login screen is missing. No place to put username/password, select server etc.

It turns out you need to click right button then scroll the window to the bottom. Then two buttons appear (apparently a license agreement), click left and then you will have a login screen. Still in chineese though.
I tried to login but I am getting a dialog box which I do not know what it says.

Well we can finally connect thank god but i do belive the mirror does blow the big one. On tq i can now use t2 med hybrids and minmatar bs's well i was able to as well on old mirrior as i began training there to. Now i can not. im back 3 mil spts and almost 3 months of training. thx alot we should really get a mirror for current stats if possible sharky. Dont mean to complain but seriously alot of people just got screwed :(.

So, just because you trained some nice skills the last month, they need to mirror TQ so you can get them. Especially since they're relatively unrelated to the current focus of testing. Yep.
I can tell you with certainty that the current mirror is under a month old (due to my own skill completion log), by the way. Someone explained a bit of the mirroring process here (or was it in #eve-chaos?) a while back, and believe me, that was a rather hefty procedure. Not something you'd like to do more often than necessary - and I think you'll agree that updating a few individuals' combat skills does not count as such. There's plenty of things to test that don't require t2 medium hybrids or Minnie battleships, thankfully

it was set at 80 people limit. i have increased to it 120 people limit. if it seems stable at that, i will increase it more tomorrow.

Well man but thats your opinion IMO i wanna test the teri3 cald ship with the t2 hybrids man that way i can decide if i like it and if i want it on tq. I know what your saying though man. Its all good :)

CCP won't let players test any new ships before they're released. It's policy, afaik, and there are a few good reasons for it.
As much fun as FFA is, Singularity needs serious bug hunters on it, not just people fiddling with new setups.

There has been a new mirror for the test server that is about a month behind TQ so anything made within that time will have gone poof and if it was made only on the test server and not on TQ then its definitly gone

Hmm i can't get onto sisi, i was on, then i dropped and saw everyone else had, now i see 70 on the server but when i login it keeps telling me this after i have selected my character:
Your character is located within (FD-MLJ), which is currently loading.
Please try again in a moment.
Has been like this for about 30mins for me, did some moron buy 100000 ravens and refine them again? if so i hope he enjoys his ban!

Sisi seems to have crashed, or at least the FD node. I tried relogging in, and I got a message saying the FD node wasn<t available. Then it crashed again.
