Can you put the overview selection back into the options dropdown please?
With a tab limit of 5 it is not possible to have all overview setting available as there are more useful settings than tabs available.
Since the patch I have to open the full overview options menu, find the correct tab, set it and the close the options window that is covering areas of my screen.
Previously, I could just click the options button and mouse down to the preset that I want.
This feature is degrading my ability to interact with the application. |

I have no feet. Or legs, for that matter. I look like a freakin' ghost.
Seriously, when going through character creation, adding pants/boots causes everything below the waistline to disappear. I"m personally quite fond of many things below my waistline, so any help with this would be appreciated.
I've attempted the suggested fixes for this, and none have worked. These include:
1. Full reinstallation of the game client. 2. Clearing the cache. 3. Turning off "low resolution characters". 4. Screaming at it. 5. Unplugging it, then plugging it back in again. 6. More screaming.
I know in the grand scheme of things it's not as important as other bugs and is mainly cosmetic, but I don't want to be "that pantsless guy in Jita" or "Mister Sweet-Jesus-it's-a-Ghost".

Industry interface BPC production issue.
As of today, it seems that I can only do 1 run of a BPC at a time (as opposed to as at the max number the BPC allows). Has anyone else experienced the same issue or did I miss an update to the BPC gameplay mechanics? Any information in regards to this issue would be much appreciated.

SINCE YOU ASKED US TO POST ALL "CRYUS ISSUES" TO THIS "HYPERION" THREAD:
Though this thread has been mostly dominated by "overview" issure, I've never had an Overview issue, I have however had Cryus/Hyperion issues which have either gotten worse or have involved "newer" issues POST-Hyperion:
- IN-FLIGHT GLITCHES: When attempting to move an item into a container in my cargohold WHILE IN FLIGHT, this error message pops up occasionally: "You are no longer at the same point in space when attempting to execute your last command." ...Um?
- IN-FLIGHT/DOCKING GLITCHES: When attempting to dock, multiple error messages pop up in a black-notification window stating "[insert name of shield HARDENER] has failed operation due to docking." This has been evident only as of the recent Sept 2 patch, and oddly this error only mentions Shield Hardener mods... so far.
- RANDOM SOCKET CLOSURE/CONNECTION LOSS: more recently since Hyperion, sometimes, the game will randomly fade to 90% black with 2 overlapping duplicate error windows titled: Connection Lost stating "The socket was closed" with the only valid button option saying "Quit" on it.
- UNDOCKING: Upon undocking from any station, the camera view is maximumly "zoomed-in/close" forcing one to constantly "zoom out" before getting any axis-orientation ("bearings"). This still has been an unresolved bug for several months, w/promises of resolution. NOTE: this problem is regardless of ship size (i.e. shuttle or freighter).
- EVEMAIL/NOTIFICATIONS - "READ" vs. "UNREAD": This has been ongoing for at least two years, though, with all the "ebb and flow" of its occurence, this issue has been increased in its prevalence: READ mail is showing up as UNREAD, in no re-producible fashion. Some days, read mail from a year ago comes up as "unread". What is fascinating about this error is that, when using a 3rd person app (in my case, "Dusk" for iphone 5), such apps PROPERLY interpret old (read) mail as read. Logging into the game, however is a different story (and pattern) every time. Yes, we've been through the clearing of cache, settings, in fact, an entirely new computer and new eve.exe installation has proven this is a bug within the game code.
- SYMBOLOGY: ANYTHING MINERAL-ORIENTED IN BLUPERINTS/INDUSTRY UI: It has become incredibly frustrating to visually (quickly) understand amounts of "minerals" used in an Industry "job" without unnecessary waste of time "mousing over" each symbol. The ICONOGHRAPHY of minerals terrible. The client/UI lacks any option to TEXTUALLY show what minerals are when listing manufacturing amounts/needs, etc. PLEASE allow a "LIST" mode for all mineral-oriented iconography as an alternative.
- SPLITTING ERRORS: When one attemptsto "split" a stack of an item, one must move the item to another non-descript area of their own UI. When succesfully split, if you attempt to fragmemt the split item(s) to the non-inventory, the inventory "merges back" to the multiple amount of items. This occurs randomly.
>>> CLUTTER REDUCTION:
I've noticed "reduce clutter in the interface" is a common DEV-spoken/typed "theme" and "token sentence" associated with every change since changing the in-game typeface to make more "screen real estate" yet the Industry UI is one of the biggest steps backwards I have ever seen regarding this statement since:
- INDUSTRY UI: The INDUSTRY UI is way to bloated visually, and does not allow resizing to a "managable" size when dealing with other multiply opened windows - as usually a majority of mass manufacturing and industrial corporations have open at any one time when docked.
- INDUSTRY UI: The INDUSTRY UI needs a more compact way to list the jobs. Each "job row" takes up about 2 "normal rows" when in "LIST MODE" in ALL "INVENTORY UI" windows. Industry's UI is a waste of space, and the pulsating "Tron-meets-Georgia-O'Keeffe's vaginal-esque" blueprint graphic area is a tremendous waste of space which cannot be made smaller or even vertically "squished" to allow a longer, more intelligible view of the jobs listed.
- INDUSTRY UI INPUT/OUTPUT: The INDUSTRY UI is NOT (or "SELECTIVELY" not) COHESIVELY REMEMBERING "from" and "deliver to" destinations for any Industry jobs. Sometimes it remembers, sometimes it does not. This is HIGHLY unproductive and agonizingly slow when mass producing 20-50 items in a session becomes 1-2 hours of game time.
- INDUSTRY UI INPUT/OUTPUT: On the note of "from" and "deliver to" DESTINATION selections in the Industry UI window, programming-wise: if remembering "standard/desired locations" is difficult to implement now, at the very least, REMOVING THE LISTING OF ANY/ALL CONTAINERS IN EACH HANGAR DIVISION would make that process much easier and more tolerable - at the very least, shorten the list to only 7 locations to list. Consider an industrial corporation with thousands of blueprints, sorted amongst multiple hangars, using 100-200 containers across all 7 corp hangars, the list becomes ridiculously long/painful to scroll through TWICE with EACH JOB SUBMITTED.
- INDUSTRY UI: The INDUSTRY UI shows a relatively pointless "OUTCOME" image which, for all intent and purposes, is pointlessly unnecessary for most skilled manufacturers (Hint: when we are making a ship, 95% of us know what the resulting ship will look like. Same with ammo - though have any of us cared what our missiles looked like up close?) After all, as stated by recent DEVs: the goal is to "reduce clutter in the interface".

- INDUSTRY LOOPING ERROR: Occasionally, the entire Industry functionality will simply "stop functioning" (it will not allow the submission of any jobs, with a persistently lopping error stating: "The price of the job has changed". Closing the Industry UI window down and reopening it temporarily "fixes" (resets?) it for more functionality until it loop-locks again with same error.
- INDUSTRY UI NOISE ERROR: The INDUSTRY UI makes its now-signature Industry UI "clink-buzz" noise whenever there is activity in an open window that happens to be "layered" atop of it. Aside from annoyance, overall, in terms of "Issues", it forces the Industry UI to "FLASH" black for a moment every time something is moved from one top-most level window to another (without ever actually submitting anything to the Industry UI - mimicking what happens after submitting a blueprint into the Industry UI. Again: this ONLY occurs when the mouse is over the area of the Industry's window, when working in open windows layered ON TOP OF the Industry UI's perimeter.
- WALLET: Beware: when using the Trade window in station with another character, without ANY specific amount of ISK NEVER involved in the item-only trade, when the Trade window was completed, all ISK in personal wallet (right down to the exact decimal (cent) was handed over to the trading party. Bug report filed. Awaiting ticket confirmation. Wallet "journal" lists the amount as a player donation to the corporation of the other person trading with. The error was caught and the ISK amount returned, but everyone should keep an eye on their balances. (BUG REPORT FILED 4 WEEKS AGO, still no response)
- MISSING GRAPHICS: Occasionally weapon turrets, launchers and strip miners are no showing on certain ships, and there is no rhyme or reason of logic to even begin to report a bug of the issue when it resolves itself sometimes after docking or relogging in.
- PLANETARY CUSTOMS OFFICES: Occasionally, when paying/transferring/taking planetary items from a Customs Office in orbit, the items are moved to cargohold, but still show as existing in the Customs Office as well.
- MINERAL SYMBOLOGY: As I have relied on "LIST" mode for minerals, parts, everything: When it comes to Industry UI and some BP situations, all I see are "shapes" of minerals/parts which I don't recognize unless I "hover over" them. As a "LIST" mode viewing user for almost 7 years, I honestly don't know the "visual" difference between tritanium and noxcium as pictures at quick glance. Please fix for "LIST" mode viewing users.
FEEDBACK/SUGGESTIONS:
- NOTIFICATIONS: There is a lack of ANY notifications to inform you of any ALLIANCE membership applications that are submitted. It would be helpful to at least have such applications handled relatively the same as Corporation Applications that are filed: To be notified that they actually exist as new submission(s).
- The INDUSTRY UI needs a "refresh" button in order to clear all "Delivered" (faded) jobs. Currently, it appears one must close and re-open the Industry UI to clear old delivered jobs.
- INDUSTRY UI: The INDUSTRY UI has created the once-again-problem of 2 years ago: "screen real estate overcrowding". I recall the treachorous days (year or two) of when Eve and CCP reprogrammed the "font", first, and then changed the Inventory UI windows - BOTH in an "effort to reduce wasted space" and "give more visual space" to its users. This Industry "upgrade" has been nothing but a downgrade in that arena. It is a complete reversal of the "effort to save screen space". Please consider fixing, and soon.
- INDUSTRY UI: Please give option to remove the "resulting outcome image" window (and other) needless/unwanted "visual overkill" from the Industry UI, as it is a clear waste of space.
- MINERAL SYMBOLOGY: Please give non-icon-only symbols for minerals for players whom choose to avoid symbology by using all Inventory UI windows in LIST mode. It is literally everywhere in the Eve universe, except in the Industry UI.
- ECONOMIC/INDUSTRY: Calculable understanding of the varying fees, taxes, etc regarding the mathematics used in correlation between manufacturing/research cost vs profit in correlation with manufacturing times is not stable long-term. Manufacturing (when calculated) in relation to the economics of market selling have now become the two most unbalanced things in this game. Ask your resident CCP Eve Economist to review the problems with prices and pricing compared to net corporate gain/loss for industrial manufacturing and selling corporations: If things do not get adjustedly balanced financially OR lessen the manufacturing times in half, then the ISK flow of profit versus sustainability of a corporate entity will become financially hyperbolic regarding its future outlook 6-12 months from now,

I've noticed a thing today, which a few others have confirmed happening.
I warp to a haven in my ship, and sometimes the first wave will target my ship, but most of the time they won't, subsequent waves will completely refuse to target my ship. When I drop drones however, they'll happily murder them, so they *are* targetting things, just never my ship.
I've even pulled drones and idled in the site for a few minutes to check it's not a timing thing, and they still outright refuse to target my ship.
Only noticed this since downtime today, was perfectly fine yesterday. |
