CCP, you have provided too many straws and the camel's back has done been busted.
I will not be renewing my primary two alts next week when they come due. And the newbie alt on the 6-month special, he'll be logging in for two things - to update skill queue along with checking on bug statuses. If at the end of the newbie alt 6-month account the bugs are still as bad as they have been, I will remain in my other primary game and you can kiss my subscription funds goodbye.
While you claim to have a QA department and that you want bugs to be fixed, why the hell do you release crap to begin with? The goal should not be to fix bugs, but rather to release product that has few bugs to begin with! Bugs should be the exception, not the rule!
When (if?) you regain a sense of responsibility towards your customers, I'll be back. Until then, I'll be elsewhere. |

Got a big problem. Every time when there is a new expansion The game gives me a black screen this was happening since after oddessy. Just after "Processing Bulk data" it shows me a black screen. I have tried reset my game setting, cache settings, and launch the exe.exe (something like that) Please help |

I have been using a +7% ME Small Mobile Siphon Unit blueprint recently and it was costing 83 Guidance Systems to produce one with a fully skilled industrial character. It still requires the same amount, and I believe the same amount of Mini Electronics and Data Chips.
Is this a bug or working as intended? I guess once you have a signature, you cannot have a blank one. |

I would like some clarification on a few things:
1. For those of us who have lost our settings; assuming no copies exist, are they permanently gone? (I assume they are). Damn! 2. The workaround outlined above only prevents loss of persistence between logging? 3. The proposed patch will only mitigate point 2.
i.e. best get rebuilding your overviews, and once done use the workaround to save them until the patch is deployed?

Like the rest of you, I lost my overview settings. However, I got a new set from a corpmate and at least had something to work with. I logged out, got something to eat and logged back in with the intention of putting my overview back to my personal liking.
The first thing I saw was the initial EVE Gate movie and then I heard music. 1) Why was I watching the very first intro movie and 2) I had turned off music, so why was I hearing it?
Here is what had changed: 1 - My ships active and passive buttons were now moved - they were not in the order I had them about 30 minutes prior 2 - the bookmarks were gone - again 3 - All settings for Display Graphics, Audio, General and Shortcuts were back to the default 4 - my Contacts were still there but the window setting(s) like Online Only were changed
Remember, this was the 3nd time I logged in today - after I already lost my original overview settings and then copied a new set.
So while you might think everything is now fine or stable, it could all change on your next login.
I put on a long skill (hope it stays there) and will not be logging in until I read this issue has been totally dealt with.

I purposefully keep a backup of the overview XML file, just logged in and the overview is borked. I've tried to import my backup, the new interface lists my old settings, but flatly refuses to import any of them and only gives the default options to assign to tabs.

I downloaded the patch right after DT. Logged on for about 10 seconds to check if all was working. Logged off and went to work. Now 5 years of overview settings are gone. Great. Brilliant. You need to post a big disclaimer before every patch that says. "The results of our coding are completely unpredictable. You may get screwed in all sorts of ways. We recommend that you export everything in your client. Even the stuff that can't be exported. Oh, and maybe image your hard drive too."

Seriously... Was your new development model supposed to reduce bugs and allow faster development and then this sort or **** gets throw...
Theres just no excuse to destroy peoples overview settings, thats like kicking paying customers to face or something... |

jesus hallelujah its about time CCP implemented Game Time Donation as it will allow players to resub accounts. Hours for plex was good but it wasn't sufficient and lead alot of players to line up, on their knees ready to degrade themselves hoping to get an ETC in the timecode bizaar. Go there and check it out. It is quite humilating. Some guy been offering 2.2b for the past 2 weeks (far above currnent market value) for 60 days of game time and he offered to swallow. Dude is still waiting with his pants down. Sobbing.

Your customers who use a plex aren't abusing your system. Therefore kindly implement the code that when a plex is activated or game time is otherwise activated:
HOURS_FOR_PLEX == true.
AS it was, a player could have been subbing his account for several months (as was the case) even let it lapse and still have access to resub if he reverse redeemed plex. BUt the moment he hadnt reverse redeemd omgwtf surprise no hours for plex therefore my super will be sitting in a pos which will offline before the GMS get to reactivating hours_for_plex. This happened...not to me fortunately. Bit you get the picture.
Summary:
activating a plex should reset hours-for-plex anytime not just within hours.
This will save your customers a headache.
AND it will save your lovely and more than competent (just-not-quite-on-the-level-of-a-dev) GMs the hassle also.
