You know, my perceptions of goons has changed in time:
- at first, bunch of nubships zerging enemy, funny
- then t1 friggies killing people, cool
- then bs and hacs and stuff attacking D2, lol cool
- then when you got to read their forums and have a glimpse of their taste... errr wtf.

Disregard for the actual lives of other players is to disrespect everything that matters.
It's "just a game" but the heart of a game like this IS the players. When leaders disrespect lives of players, it's just morally pathetic. However, it's also to show disrespect for the game itself... and to disrespect why we play. An organization that has leaders who dont respect actual life or the basic reason we play... ummm....

As I said in the other thread,
but Tetsujin already apologized for that in the original thread before it was locked, and nobody in GS was defending tetsujin -- none of us condone making jokes like that in public places where people won't understand the context -- we just think it's lame that people keep trolling us with something that predates our entire corporation and 99% of our members by like a year. That's what the jokes are about -- not mocking the dead, but mocking the people who bandwagon onto the memory of the dead for political points in a spaceship game.
Plus, the post quoted in the original bob troll was from May, so it looks like they'd been saving it for a while. If they're looking for an excuse to come after us then it's not hard to find one. AS to what actually happens, yeah, it'll be an interesting weekend one way or another.

What, the argument that this is the most cynical sort of pretext for war, when that sig could have been used anytime in the last four months, or remedials chatlogs could have been used anytime in the last two years for a war, but it just so happens that right now on the day of the D2/XZH conflict that BoB decides to get involved they "magically" discover the chatlogs and get prepped for war?
Are you retarded? Is everybody here so willingly blind that they can't see exactly what BoB are doing? They're attempting to kill a potential enemy and dredging up Smoske's frozen corpse from deep space and putting it on display as their mascot. I bet the ******* father is crying - at the complete lack of ethics on the part of BoB over this.

It is a strange day in EVE....
RL spilled onto the game and is going to have a seismic effect on the EVE player base.
I can't help feeling that we as a community lost something today....
This whole affair is extremely ugly indeed. 
I wonder what CCP/ISD have to say about this.. if anything... I for one would like to hear it.
