The transfer of NZW station between UNL and Anthrax was a friendly business deal (which could have been easily found out by contacting either party :) )
Otherwise, great work as usual, Serenity, thanks and keep it up.

Thanks for the information. I'll update it in the archive. Usually I don't have an opportunity to chase all the transfers, however your point makes me think of the value in enabling people to submit their own comments via the IGB. Thanks for the idea!

There is a database problem with the hosting provider on the site right now, I'm hoping to resolve it in the next 12 hours.

The next Outpost Alert will be on 13th may, as I'm off on a short holiday break after finishing the Empyrean Age update to the map book.

Serenity, just got your book - it's awesome! :)
Anyway, are you going to add some way to update our outposts even if we don't do that with every alert? Say a backlog or samething that is easily accessible?

Just received the Map book. Like it very much!
I do have a question: according to the book, Perrigen Falls doesn't have any asteroid fields, and the outpost at 1A8-6G has no services. Is this a sign of things to come in the upcoming expansion, or am I reading the map wrong?

Edited by: Havok Pierce on 29/05/2008 00:33:27 One complaint about the EVE Strategic Maps: The last page is just a E-ON ad. I would have appreciated an index of all of the systems and/or constellations (showing page name and grid location) greatly. Otherwise, they look great.
I mean, no map is complete without an index >.>. I might put one together myself.

Can't be bothered to read the entire thread again, but this has been bugging me for a while: Z-N9IP in Impass is double-counted in the by-region and by-station-type totals.

Thanks for letting me know. I've identified the reason for the duplicate entry, and you will see the correct information on the site in the next 24hrs.

I've had a request to show all non-sovereign systems to help out budding alliances to find a place in 0.0, so have added the feature

Edited by: Vladimir Antlerkov on 05/06/2008 23:11:56 Edited by: Vladimir Antlerkov on 05/06/2008 23:11:32 QCWA-Z in Branch is shown twice on its region page and in the list of all outposts, once for Stella Polar and once for Stella Polaris. (Unlike the glitch with Z-N, this isn't affecting any overall totals. If the two alliances have the same ticker, then that's probably the reason for the glitch, since one of them is supposed to have disbanded some time ago.)
As usual, excellent work.

Nice work ! And the paper maps are awesome too..
Just a small glitch to report, in the "outpost update" page. While going through the (still rather short !) list for new outposts and placing my little yellow stickers, I noticed that 66TenerifisT-AKQZ[G1] is erroneous. The coordinates should read [G12]
I'm sure it's nothing too serious to fix...
Great job !

Awesome service. Also a question. Would it be possible to include history graphs on Members, Sov Systems and Outposts for more then 90 Days time frame.
I think it would be interesting to see that information for lot of alliances 2+ years back not just 3 months.
Thanks. __________________________________

Thanks. I found it .. was indeed the duplicate of the Alliance Ticker, and it's fixed. Thanks for pointing it out!

Yes, it's possible and a good idea, however a little difficult without me changing the database due to performance issues (I hadn't anticipated 600+ active alliances when I first wrote the site and didn't do much query optimisation). I keep the data in a second db at the moment as an archive.
I've started migrating to a new DB on my beta test site, but it's not complete yet. I'll make an announcement when it's ready in Outpost Alert!.

Thanks. I think it's a field length clipping issue. I'll get on it. I'm very glad you're the stickers are working out!

Thanks. The security status information is driven from the database, so correct. Regrettably I didn't have a checking query on colours of system :( |

please excuse my noobness for interjecting, but I've always thought that system security in EVE only goes from 0.0 to 1.0, whereas the map legend clearly displays system security from 1.0 to -1.0. how does that work?

System security is displayed in the game as rounded to 1 decimal place, Starting at +1.0 is clipped at 0.0 , so anything lower just shows as 0.0. However the security statuses actually have >5 decimal places and go all the way down to -1.0,
This range +1.0 to -1.0 and multiple decimal places is referred to as "Truesec" ie. The True security status.
For the purposes of Strategic planning, 1 decimal place is sufficient if you show the entire range +1.0 to -1.0, hence why this was chosen for the maps.

Found a Typo - or i guess a print-o
Region Aridia C-8 system Parouz shows it has a station but no station exists. The red circle is filled in but no services are marked.
Also, Yellow Dots are cool, too big, they overlap ice belts and belt/moon labeling. I thought maybe they would be see thru so we could continue to see the system truesec thru the outpost sticker. I'm having to place them next to the name and remember exactly which system they go to.
Otherwise very good, takes some getting used to but I am enjoying them very much. Now if we could just get this book to show us pilots in space :-P
Originally by: Zhulik I thought Premium graphics were supposed to fix that bug where people were trying to salvage Minmatar ships.

Are the Outpost Alert emails coming back? Hasn't been one since April. I know you're busy with the new CSM stuff but hoping you can squeeze in time for this awesome resource. Also there are Outposts built in the past month or so not showing up in your rankings? Hopefuully the Outpost API (if there is one) isn't broken like the POS API. ---- Disco Biscuits, Baby!
