Since the list hasn't been updated in almost a month I figured I would write something to go pull it.
Here are the top 10 ordered by outposts, then systems, then members
GoonSwarm with 22 outposts
Red Alliance with 20 outposts
Band of Brothers with 15 outposts
Tau Ceti Federation with 13 outposts

Thanks Aelena. It's getting embarassing that the new code isn't released to the site.  I can rip the data ok, it's the automation/web site/db size that is screwy atm. I was a little too ambitious beta-testing grabbing all corp data daily.
The delay has been I'm a little screwed for time (for very good EvE reasons to be revealed shortly).
My next post will be "it's done"

I have created code to update the list daily from the api and created a page (it's fugly but meh) to display the rankings of everyone.

Can I just say that this Atlas is great. I have been using the Revalations Edition since EVE.TV finally managed to get it to me. It is quick and easy and doesnt require me to flip between open windows as I do with the Ombeys 2D maps (Not that I dont think that Ombeys doesnt have its place Im just old fashioned and prefer a paper Map). the only part I havent been able to experiment with is the use of the stickers as the page containing them is just a filler and not the real stickers. Wether or not I will need to get hold of an update for the Trinity Version of the book remains to be seen..

I'm pleased to say that Outpost Alert and alliance rankings are now updating daily again. Sorry for the delays folks. Getting the new XML parsing was conflicting with RL.
Outpost Alert Weekly Newsletter will resume again on Sunday 26th Jan 2008. 3000 subscribers can't be wrong 
Thanks to everyone who kept up the good spirits while I toiled on the code. At last I can work on adding features again :)

Eve Strategic Maps not died! It's the quiet before the storm of publication, where everyone is up holed up scrutinizing the maps, running database accuracy checks, enhancing the colour balance, designing the official cover .. etc. etc.

Love your work, but would like to point a small interpretive error. The 2 outposts that Black-Out has acquired in Paragon Soul from Knights of the Southerncross were purchased by Black-Out from KOS, and were not taken by force. If you could correct this it would be appreciated.

I may sound incredibly thick here....(waits for comments)
But can someone explain to me the different levels of sovreignty, i.e. what is the difference between sovereign 3 and 4.
Is it just the number of pos' that are placed in system or is it to do with outposts in that system etc
I've tried looking on the faq etc on the site...and looking through 9 pages of posts for this topic is making my head hurt!!
Anyone able to explain it to me?

Yes. I've added this to the list of features to add. It will be about 2 weekends away from now. Map publication has priority atm.

Sorry the outpost alert FAQ was a bit obsured on the menu under newsletter sign-up.

Ka-Tet is not in your Alliance ranking list and lost some days on outposts, and the region Outer Passage (where is Ka-Tet) has a bug and stop showing the outposts after the first one ...

The information I have right now is that it's mean to be available in the EvE-Store today or Monday. CCP have to apparently update the code for postage rates.
As soon as I have a confirmation, it will be absolutely clear on the site, news, splash screen, email lists, my signature, new forum posts :)

I found the bug; Ka-Tet alliance folded according the the .XML information from EvE, leaving a bunch of outposts with null-values for alliances IDs. My code really didn't like that.
I will fix it tonight/this weekend.

I noticed the Ka-tet bug so I looked around at most of the other regions.
Cloud ring appears to be throwing a bug, 2 different alliances are holding sov of the same station.
The spire is also 'not showing up' and throwing the WTF h4x bug.
Oasa is showing 5 stations when there are only 4 (two of the same that are counting towards the totals)
Period Basis has 2 different stations appearing twice each, throwing a bug.
Finally all 'new' stations are not showing the 'orbit' they are at. Don't know if this is API issue or what, just figured I'd list it with the other stuff.

I checked the underlying data in the tables, and it's ok. The problem is with the display queries. Most of them are due to table joins etc. and the Null values with fall of Ka-Tet.
Orbit info isn't in the API - so will have to add that to my regular to-do list :)
