Sorry I didn't get your evemail sooner, otherwise I would have added it immediately! It's there now.
In general, it's a manual (read time-consuming) task to check if any new outposts built, so I only do it once a week. All outposts built in the last 7 days have been updated :)

AFAIK the CCP API only covers Sovereignty and Alliance information, the version 2.0 to provide outpost ownership information isn't released yet (pls let me know if it is!)
I do use the existing API information to tell me 'where to look', which is quite efficient.
Once the API 2.0 is up and running, the whole update will be automated, until then I do the manual check as close to down-time as work permits.

Yes, it's possible, but a performance issue with the current database to present the information. Once I'm done with the revised database model, it will be possible to show 360 days :). Will be soon(tm).

To clarify, SMASH hit the station with RK when the system was sov-neutral, and laid the final blow (guess someone wasn't paying attention). The only towers ever in system were RK towers, so the very next downtime RK was handed the station. Was only a 1 day though.

Type Totals shows growth by type for 12 months.
Regions lists outposts per region. Click on an outpost's icon to see date/alliance of builder, previous owners.

Well, you do present the data, but not in an easy to read format (I'd have to do a lot of clicking to gather the data).
Is there a way you could compile your outpost alerts (new outposts sections) into one timeline. I don't care to see when they changed hands. I only want to see the growth of stations over time (with date stamps if possible). Again, this is really just an interest to see how rapidly growth occured. Maybe you could group the new stations by month so it would be easy to see the breakdown better than this link shows. I cannot get detailed growth patterns from your graph. Sorry, I'm a numbers guy.
One thing I noticed on your alert - I cannot click on the outpost icon to get to the outposts history. If you do create a timeline report that might be something nice to have.

lol yeah. I always type loosing vs. losing since about 20 years. Guess that's what I get for speaking 2nd and 3rd languages all day!

Great tool! The alert map is amazing. One suggestion for it, however. Can you include the true-sec rating for systems when you look at a region?
For example:
Fountain
Const.......System.....True sec.....Sov Level.....Alliance
Basilisk......4HS-CR........-0.54.......
.................Y2-ANO........-1.0................3.............Band of Brothers
There are a few other additions that would be extremely useful for a quick perusal:
1) # of belts in system
2) presence of ice field
3) COSMOS system/constellation
4) Type of station/station services in system
Some of these are just a wish list and not necessary, but they would be very useful.

Probably a toggle on/off option, as it's easy to "information overload" going down that road in the rankings.

Is that all outposts built up to 2007.09.01 12:19:00 when I made that post, or outposts prior to 30-Sep-07, when it was last updated?
Next new outpost hunt is this weekend. If you know of a specific one built since then please post share the system
