This is a game full of piracy, espionage, corp theft, and escrow scammers. I don't see why anyone can put up with all that and get excited because someone said something mean. It makes no sense to me.

It is a fine line between greifing (which is allowed) and harrasment (which is not). Although we are all compsed within ships, in space, flying around in a game, we are and always will be real people with real feelings who find it necessary if not ethical to lash out when they feel smitten and disrespected. CCP can only dictate the fine line on thier own forums and in game, and i can assure you from a legal and liable standpoint they will. Continued gross harrassment is a legitimate cause for legal repricusions that CCP, nor any business, will tolerate. Unfortunately we cannot impose our sense of morality on the world and debates and painful words like this will never cease. I only hope that the majority of this resolution will take place somewhere in game. Clicky: Eve Most Wanted List

Personally, i am not of the type who start to hate players i play against in games, why? in command and conquer of old, or in conterstrike, or battlefield2, we do/did NOTHING but kill each other, and sometime make teams who kill, and clans practice against each other. Myself ive been angry at pvp oponents ONCE. In my old mmo, anarchy online, one of the major pvp orgs, a "elite" one lead by one in US army, were my enemy in tower wars(quite close to POS wars, exept they dont mine one jot, its "RP mining"). What happened, was first, it was ingame explots(who, dont irritate me so much, exept its sad), then, a forum hack was used to bombard the email list of the moderator of guild forum, who meant players who where school kids still, got bombarded with ** involving disgusting stuff, and all drowned in flames, hate, and all just belived others where the worst creeps in universe... What did i react to of this? only the harassment of sending ** to minors signed by a leading faction person of oposing side. And, what is simmilarity with EVE? in Imperium alliance's war with bob last year, rona got sacked, at same time as bob just shot ppl inside a working fueled POS. Bob probably know it, we know it, and noone at all can explain what happened. since bob crushed the POSes, and all war assets were stolen, now ex imperiums got extremely low though of bob, QUITE low. Me? I hope i meet some of you in fanfest and can have a chat When you play a wargame, you DO defeat someone. I dont go around hateing ppl in real life, and i certainly do not in games. Bob and goonfleet seems unable to "crush" each other at all, so why be hostile, and spam forum? My old alliance GOT crushed by bob, until all left. and, still im not hating bob, i think they got some of the most mature gamers in the game!

There is no actual proof that BobÆs intention is to make 'poor' goons quit the game. What I see in Goons is an invasion of an outside influence, organized invasion of 'outside interest' into EVE. I actually believe now that Goons and structures like Goons are bad for EVE. And, since I equate Goons and roaches in the same category, I do not see any problems with exterminating as many of them as possible. Again, my personal opinion, but then I hope some people will agree with me. Goons need to die, as many as possible; they are cancer on the society of EVE.

I can only really speak for myself, but in the two months I've been a member, it seems that the vast majority of Goons could care less about any drama. They just want to play the game and blow stuff up. We recognize that it's just a game, and treat it like one. I think it's ridiculous to hold the entire corporation responsible for one or two people acting out, but in the end, it makes no difference. I haven't seen anyone quit yet because we've been forced out by BoB. We really don't care, because we know we get to still blow stuff up anyway. Again, it's just a game. And frankly, seeing as how the servers can't really handle the kind of engagements that were going on in Cloud Ring, I think a lot of us are looking forward to getting back to enjoyable PVP. If your argument is that large guilds or new players are bad for Eve, well, I can't help you there.
