I'm gonna stand by what I've said in the past. I used to run a 1 man player corp for years. Why? So I could have my own POS for one, also so that my drunken ramblings could have a realistic and damaging affect upon my ingame assets. IE, if I acted like a tard on the forums I could not only be held accountable for the drunken gibberish I am occasionally wont to spew, but also could face the possible loss of assets beyond whatever derp fit ship I happened to undock with. These things combined keep me civil for the most part, and prevent me from running onto the stage with my pants on my head yelling 'oh wakka wakka feels so good!'. Unfortunately, life in npc corps fosters a sense of shelter and a disassociation with the notion of any real loss as a consequence for actions on the meta level that panders to the themepark mentality a little too much. With nothing on the line on a daily basis the fear of real loss diminishes to the point where when all of a sudden the harsh reality slams into place to the tune of 'omfg that was more than half my net worth that just went pop', you are simply ill prepared to deal with it. Butthurt ensues. Major league Preparation H Bomb style butthurt. You do yourselves no favor by insulating yourselves from the notion of loss. Better to inure yourself to it and learn to laugh at it whenever possible, rather than be thrown into fits of rage due to being unused to dealing with such hurts.

I personally think that the wardec mechanic should be refined to also include a character specific version where one character is able to declare a personal vendetta against another.
