Kind of sad really, that can is about 50 or so days away going around 15km/s so this is going to be a long trip. I tried to take advantage of the logout warp, but it only seems to warp you maybe 300 to 500km away from your current location, witch isnt far when your moving at around 9km/s.

when trinty update happend theres a new north like star out there according to me maps and when i look at it with my ship in game it points at the direction of the gate in space, the pulsating star is visiable from every region except new eden

This is a truly inspiring event. I have been after the warm hole in New Eden for a while now, and the entire time I have been flying near (300km away) from a man in an alliance that I have fought to the bloody end, and we can get along and have civil conversations and allow for the passage of eachother in complete saftey to reach the goal of the universe.
All praise the wormhole!

Currently 2.5au from the sun towards the New Eden Warmhole. The Drone instance that was mentioned before does in fact exist! As I have run into the deadspace pocket that it is located in. I am doing my best to dredge through without the use of a MWD but it is proving difficult. Will update as I get closer! |

Can you confirm this with more details? Is it a complex? What resistance have you met? How far away from the sun was it?

The drone infestation was a hidden complex that was scanned out. I do believe that it will repopulate again, but shortly after discovery it was taken down by 2 battleships, and (after reset) it then disappeared. The location is approximetly 2.3au from the star towards the wormhole. Upon finding it the speed of my Inty was decreased to a meak 780m/s due to the inability to use my MWD. After numerous attempts to pilot out I came to the conclusion that I would need to wait for the deadspace to expire. When it did I created a quick bookmark and was on my way further towards the gate.
Someone asked earlier about a setup. Here it is.

I have spent last night flying from the gate in New Eden i am right now 40K away from the gate, not bad for one night i guess, i wonder what the farest distance coming from the gate is, ,  |

the current distance from the sun I have is .768 au from the star, and 9.279 au from the gate, though, I am going for the furthest can out which i am 74,000,000 km from, guess this is something I might want to pick back up on since They are about to auto remove cans in 1.1. still if anyone needs bookmarks let me know in game, I still have them.

Has CCP ever confirmed if there is actually the wormhole out there or not? It owuld make sense if something was there. Maybe people will find the first Stargate Ever Built after Eve wormhole was discovered?

Yes the gate is a backround image, but that can isnt, and I want to see whats in it, since there is no corp or owner info, I can only assume its either spawned or so old that data was lost.

A little confused on what is the best rout for this. From the gate, i've got a bookmark 149k from it and it shows off the map. If I warp to the sun and go from there. I'm 9.5 au from the gate but it shows I"m now in the middle of the map. What is the closer point? From gate or the Sun?

Last time i was in New Eden was a month ago. Probably all the message cans surrounding the entry gate, the sun and the planet were deleted after the last patch. Can someone confirm this? For posterity, i took a lot of screenshots of all the messages written in the cans (the older messages were from 2004). Some are really inspiring. I¦ll post a link tho these pics when i get back home at monday. Fly safe all, and enjoy the big journey o7

anyone who really really want to figure things out should probably go check the eve datadump.
there is a huge file with coordinates for several hundred thousand objects... i.e. every game placed object in every map in game ...
good luck figuring out the stuff :)

I was back there recently, as in today. The graphics for the wormhole have been greatly upgraded. It's rather beautiful now, orange and yellow with a halo effect. It looks three dimensional also.
