lol just eve mail support or any gm back from beta they will tell you what your looking for. Its a background image, there is a "special" place by the sun and that is about it guys. First year after beta there were people doing the same thing without reveal, the questions was asked and even a petition was made, the wormhole IS JUST A BACKGROUND LOL. But hey its cool thinking you might get there someday, and I still have a bm about 315 au from the gate there, back when you could point and click in the system and x out your cap by making Super Safe Spots.
Cheers, enjoy finding nothing. Go look at the K fields or the black rotating square lol

interesting how every time the collective spirit brightens and warms to the idea of the gate being a physical object, someone coincidentally pops up to blather on about it being a background image. very suspicious how they time it so well.
whether you think it's real or not is irrelevant. just leave these people to their natural urge to discover and explore. Surely this is the reason for EVE? to explore yourself and your surroundings? Stop trying to discourage others, just because you feel otherwise. dont turn such an inspiring personal search for truth into yet another theological war. |

Interesting... seeing as the empires are at war now and someone mentioned something about some chinese text speaking of a 'war between empires, when it happens again, etc.', do you think there'll be a patch in the near or (at least) distant future involving the reopening of the gate?
Or will the wormhole eventually swallow the galaxy when people stop playing the game? >_>
Possibilities:
- New empire (terran; with multiple ethnicities such as hispanic, arab, black and irish or at least a conjugation of ethnics following the so called law that by at least 3000/4000AD. everyone would merge into brown people? :D)
- New region(s)
- New ships
- New technology (in general o.0)

I've been there today, it's nice but there are lots of things I don't understand (for example, who is Reveka Savant , why others say to show some respect for the dead etc...)
Also, the ")r" can that suposedly has BM's to the furthest object into the wormhole is empty. No BM's in there to find whatsoever. I really would love to hear more about this (if no other to warp to the can and feel like "bodly going where noone has gone before!" :P) so if someone can contract me the BM's I'd apreciate.
Also, I went there in a cov ops , and threw a few probes in there... I found a few drone plexes (4 of them) in a range between 0.5 and 2.2AU from the gate ... I lacked the fire power to even try to kill but I'd would have loved to do it with the moron that happened to be there today with me(but he reacted quite wierdly when I even said hi to him)...
I loved the easter egg feeling of the system a lot, I hope CCP makes more content like this.
Post-Edit: nvm, I figured out the "respect for the dead" thing once I inspected the can :-P

If someone can contract me a bookmark, I would appriciate it. I can then contract BM back when i have flown as far as I have time for each time I go there.

I've heard that the EVE gate has a construct surrounding it with words written in a strange language engraved on it and EVE marked at the top. I've never seen it myself though.

Didn't the wormhole collapse? witch was the thing that caused the isolation from the old world? are you guys trying to find the remains of the wormhole, or do you honestly think there is a wormhole?

yeah, i think the into said it did, ill have to watch it, but considering you can still see it, i think its just really really unstable
also, if you EVER reach it (fat chance tbh) try to go through
