That may be so, but this game is way more complex and involved than any other PS title. You can't just pause it or play a few minutes before you run off to wherever. The whole point of consoles is so that you can get some quick and dity gaming done without having to know anything. EVE is certainly not that type of game.

I'd rather not CCP take a three-four year time-out developing a PS3 client, in fact I'd rather see a Mac client before then.
I also adore the exclusevity this game enjoys. Now and then I hear scary stories about Final Fantasy Online and the horrors that were unleashed allowing console-users on there.

I don't think the price tag is a great selling point of the PS3 
Anyway, it's the games that determine where the console ends up, if it keeps the franchises that made the PS2 FTW, it too will have an aspect of FTWness, even if the unit itself is more in the FTL category.

Oh yeah its gonna be released on the PS3, then shortly after that itll be out on the Wii.
Theyre adding a new feature where you can make your ship do somersaults by flicking the wiimote. Cant wait to engage in my blaster boat and do alley oops in their face as they crumble to structure.

you might actually be able to run it on the PS3 iirc.
Last I heard sony said that it could run linux, and as long as the hardware has good linux support, you might be able to run eve through wine..
Don't really think a lot of people will try that out, though.

When FFXI came out I bought it on PC, was an awesome awesome game. Then sony went and released it on PS2. God that was a good way to**** up a decent mmog fast. Console gamers are, for the most part, humongous idiots, and INSANELY impatient/unreliable.
You play a console for a quick fix game, as was stated earlier, stick a MMOG on it and you will get 100 idiots for every 1 decent player.

Hehe, I have to partly agree, I play FFXI on the 360 (my pc = awful, barely runs EVE) and for the most part, the console players are asses / idiots. Of course, there is the occasional exception, but it's rare.
I don't like sigs, this one in particular.

Its true though. I sit in a cubicle all day with 3 other guys that play WoW. Try explaining eve to them and their heads explode. I don't want to have to deal with all that stuff! They say. I just want to kill people I don't want to wait! They say. Eve is an aquired taste. Plus, would you want to play eve with a controller? Hells no. Keep the good games on the PC is what I say.

Sorry... you don't get to do it for free. It costs money to port to another system as well as all the Q&A and such involved. To get it, you have to make a case FOR it and JUSTIFY it. Until there is reasonable justification, there is no reason to have it.

What's this thing about a high price tag? I remember when the PS2 came out, they were going for ú500. 6 months later they were less than half that price. Price of the console is irrelevant.

They should release it on the 360 tbh, but first, you have to have a pc and play it on the pc most of the time, or, your name is Shigsy.
