I don't know my total time for eve, but what I do know is that for the past 5 days, I have been doing nothing but play EVE from 10am till midnight. Hey, what else should one do when everyone has abandoned them for a holiday in spain and whatnot

Search for "logonMinutes:" the colon is included in the search, otherwise its some unreadable entry. You'll see the number in total minutes. I believe it pulls the information from the server and is not local to your machine so it should show your login time to the account.
Edit: I've played for only 74 days ish.

OK, I'm a bonehead. I'm OK through step 4. At step 5, I don't see a first line (Blue Module starting). I have the CCP Log Server up, it shows a tree in the left panel starting with New Workspace and having subcategories Devices, Logs and Layouts, and in the right panel is a window called "Logs from I am a log stor..." with Time/Message/... headers and no entries.
Where do I find this "Blue Module Starting"?

So, really that works out at 172.47 days out of 300. More than 50% of your life in the last 10 months. That's assuming that the accounts weren't logged on at the same time.

Most people with multiple accounts have them all up at the same time, whether something is happening on that character or not. I know that there are at least 3 days on this character where I just forgot to close the client, leaving him logged in until downtime.

Sure. Follow these steps exactly:
1. Close Eve if it's already open.
2. Browse to the eve directory (C:\Program Files\CCP\Eve by default), and double click on logserver.exe. CCP Log Server comes up.

4. Start Eve, login and go back to the Log Server.
5. Scroll all the way back to the very first entry in the list (by now there should be hundreds if not thousands of entries) Select the very first entry by left clicking once on it. The entry text is "Blue Module starting".
6. Click on the Find button and search for "logonMinutes:".
7. Read the number of minutes in the bottom text portion of the screen.
You have to exit EVE, start the logserver, open a new workspace, and log back into the game for it to work.

Just for reference, in the US a standard work year is 2080 hours (2000 hours with 2 weeks vacation)
Thats 124800 minutes (120000 with vacation).
At US minimum wage, thats roughly $11,000
At US mean wages, its almost $35,000

Character is over 2 years old as of this month. So now I guess I don't feel as bad. BTW, when searching the log, be sure to include the colon at the end of "logonMinutes:" otherwise it doesn't give the right field for checking minutes.

Then you could (in violation of everything good and holy)go on ebay and buy isk at roughly 13 bucks per 100 million (a low estimate of price, but with a volume discount) and buy yourself...
85 billion isk.
If you could work a regular (average) job....
261 billion isk.

on the other hand, most of it is probably afk at a station, safe spot cloaked, or sitting at a gate camp playing PSP and waiting for some hostiles to show up
