EVE Logon Time How much time have you spent playing Eve? This guide explains how to use CCP Log Server to find out how much time you've been logged into Eve.
1. Close Eve if it's already open. 2. Browse to the eve directory (C:\Program Files\CCP\Eve by default), and double click on logserver.exe. CCP Log Server comes up. 3. In the File menu, select New Workspace . 4. Start Eve, login and go back to the Log Server. 5. Select the first line (Blue Module starting), then click on the Find button and search for logonMinutes: . Read the number in the bottom right area.

I don't know my total time for eve, but what I do know is that for the past 5 days, I have been doing nothing but play EVE from 10am till midnight. Hey, what else should one do when everyone has abandoned them for a holiday in spain and whatnot ____________________________

Eve's been running for 4 years.... you've been ingame for close to a year... (assuming you were playing when it was released) You play Eve close to 42 hours a week. Thats depressing ___________

Edited by: Prodgen on 11/08/2006 01:06:19 Search for "logonMinutes:" the colon is included in the search, otherwise its some unreadable entry. You'll see the number in total minutes. I believe it pulls the information from the server and is not local to your machine so it should show your login time to the account.
Edit: I've played for only 74 days ish.

OK, I'm a bonehead. I'm OK through step 4. At step 5, I don't see a first line (Blue Module starting). I have the CCP Log Server up, it shows a tree in the left panel starting with New Workspace and having subcategories Devices, Logs and Layouts, and in the right panel is a window called "Logs from I am a log stor..." with Time/Message/... headers and no entries.
Where do I find this "Blue Module Starting"?

I fear the answer I might get. I've had Eve for a year and I think I might have a heart attack if I see the percentage of that time that I've spent on Eve.
Forum time, however, isn't logged ___________________________________________

So, really that works out at 172.47 days out of 300. More than 50% of your life in the last 10 months. That's assuming that the accounts weren't logged on at the same time.

Hmm....I rather wish I didnt bother opening the logserver now.

Been online 37 full days in 8 months of EvE.
Thats a lot of excess payment right there.
But i guess the dose is still healthy. ________________________________________________
