As for the new wormhole effects, you can show info on them to see which ships they allow (which is what the colors identify). Not a brilliant fix or anything, but still...

It's a shame other games do not recognize this in their design. Hopefully CCP does though!
But that is TRUE colorblindness.
Dichromacy - 1 of their color receptors is inoperable Anomalous Trichromacy - 1 of their color receptors is not working properly
Dichromacy 2.4%0.03% Protanopia (red deficient: L cone absent) 1.3%0.02% Deuteranopia (green deficient: M cone absent)1.2%0.01% Tritanopia (blue deficient: S cone absent) 0.001%0.03%
Anomalous Trichromacy 6.3%0.37% Protanomaly (red deficient: L cone defect) 1.3%0.02% Deuteranomaly (green deficient: M cone defect)5.0%0.35% Tritanomaly (blue deficient: S cone defect) 0.0001%0.0001%
So although (according to wikipedia) 2.4% of the population is truly colorblind, an additional 6.3% have a malfunctioning color receptor. This means that about 8.7% of Eve subscribers are probably colorblind at some level.

As a colorblind player, i can only support this suggestion. Please allow us the chance to choose a colorblind mode, or even to adjust our own colors clientside for the UI. (for example, i can see if someone is targetting me, but not if they are attacking me. the red rectangle in the overview around the big red cross, is something i have a lot of trouble seeing. This can lead to very uncomfortable surprises in every part of the game.) |

For a situation like this, even something as simple as giving the "entity is targeting you" and "entity is attacking you" brackets a different visual appearance (referring to shape rather than color) would probably make a big difference.
+1 for a proper "colorblind" mode, though. |

As a Colorblind player myself I fully support this request. Google actually had the foresight to code color correction into their latest version of Android so it can be system wide as I have been requesting Microsoft to allow for years to no avail. But seriously I have major issues distinguishing from friendly and enemy in local with the colors CCP chose to use to highlight them. I have to mouse over the names/icons one at a time to see if they are in my corp, or an enemy and it gets very tedious.

Editing to post link to an example of what I deal with the whole time I play. this a small snipping of my local window and the icons next to the names. I can not see a difference in the colors of the icons in the window shown at all. I have to actually mouse oer each one one to see if they are in my corp or a WT. http://imgur.com/Vmcga9u
TBH, people who see the full color spectrum won't see the issue with the picture you have provided because they look at that and with a glance instantly see the color difference.

Here are a couple websites that have some comparison pictures that actually adapt the picture to what a colorblind person actually sees when they look at the example pictures. It's crazy, but the dueteranopia pictures look the same to me as the standard picture.

The yellow vs red brackets are difficult for me to decipher as well, and I am only partially color blind :( |

Surely it would be simple to add a set of processes to adjust the colours rendered from the clients point of view if the appropriate option was selected in the client's menu? I don't see why you wouldn't want this. Surely the game is built to support blind people as well as other disabled people. |

I get that most people won't see a problem with the picture I posted. I was merely using it to demonstrate the I see no difference in the colors there. My wife thinks I am nuts as well but she understands the difference. I have my phone setup with android 5.0's built in colo correction and it makes android a completely different beast as well as the apps and games on the platform. it changes the colors at the OS level I only wish windows had such an option then CCP wouldn't need to worry about it |

Suggestion. If you highlight the modules, it will tell you which jammer it is. You can organize them by position. Alphabetical order let's say.
