Honestly, given what I know about local defenses and what I have heard of past engagements... Pirates in Providence, CVA fights, Pirates leave... CVA stays in Providence, Pirates come, Pirates leave repeat the pirates coming and going a few times. I suppose it is easy for people to talk trash about the CVA, but they have stood against TSDS, Poke, Col, raids by BoB, Shinra, raids by various Merc types, against the ISS, and others I simply forget to mention. Go ahead and claim they rely on allies as multiple piracy organizations attack them at once and they stand their ground. There is respect on and off the field of battle, like it or not they deserve both, as to boasts to the contrary, I will believe it when the CVA move. From what I know, most of The Short Bus Squad can't go into high sec space which means that they'll be forced to fight in low-sec and 0.0. But they already camp gates in low-sec (Kheram springs to mind)... so what's the difference now except that they have to pay a war fee? -= Currently recruiting Swedish players =-
Vantras Amarr Border Defense Consortium Curatores Veritatis Alliance	Posted - 2006.08.15 19:34:00 - [59] The difference with a war dec is it puts them on a level playing field with the CVA in terms of sentry guns etc. For the last few weeks we have enjoyed our time pillaging all the lovely minus 10's that are employed by TSDS.(not displayed in "campaign figures" of course..) The war dec, of course, no longer makes thier bad boy sec status a liability for them. A smart and necessary move for TSDS in light of the the current sec. status of many/most of thier members.
