*) Some inconsequential, by which I mean balanced, rewards such as a 1 run Jove Frigate BPC
*) The final reward is something that unlocks additional options in Character Creator. This is pure genius.

Yeah, the thing that gets me is that there's been nothing going on with regards to this huge part of the backstory for years now (though the body part collection is starting to seem more and more interesting...). There's so much potential, but none of it has really bee realized- obviously it's completely up to CCP, but I would love, more than anything, for something like this to eventually happen- as long as the 'mystery' of the Jovians remains, there's a lot that could(or should) be done with them.
After all, I only decided to play EVE after immersing myself in the lore and realizing just how amazing it is!

Now, this may only be tangentially related to this topic, or it could be extremely important:
On new.eveonline.com, there is a very interesting post, made today, that has a lot of people talking. It contains a quote from Cicero and a picture with a ship in the distance and a seemingly cloaked structure in the middle of it.
There is a lot of discussion going on about it, but I wan'd appreciate it if you took a look at my thoughts on it. Now, it may just be a coincidence and have nothing at all to do with the Jovians; but at the same time, it's always a possibility. I don't expect that I'm right, but I'm open to anything.
My biggest hope is that CCP is finally bringing back the Jovians in some way - if that's so, than I hope they take this into consideration more than ever.
Here's to potentially very interesting times on their way

More interactivity with the Joves would be awesome.
Right now there is more than enough reading material about them! There is so much of it that it can hype a player's desire for interactivity with Joves. Yet ... There's so little a player can do to interact with this mysterious race. So it doesn't seem to balance things out if you look at the other content provided from the rest of Eve's story.
It's about time CCP moves forward and gives us MOAR content in regards to Joves. May it be another line of ships or even the possiblity to work towards becoming part of their race. I truly want to see this happen, let the Jovian race rise from the dust and let them once again be a major part of the cluster! |

In light of recent events involving Sleepers (Circadian Seekers) and the 'Cloaked Jove Outpost', I have written an alternate storyline for part two of the project in order to prevent conflict with future events (so far as we know).

There's a new JOVE BATTLESHIP in the SISI files!
Not sleeper (this isn't a drone), a Jovian ship. It has a "pilot": a Jovian, as far as CONCORD sees it.
This ship is ancient, from the description here, so it seems to be a ship that is both sleeper and Jovian together, from the era in which they split off and the Architects made their home in Anoikis. The Sleepers are, physically, Jovian.
And they are waking up.
I'm not sure how this is going, but I certainly hope this idea of mine doesn't become TOTally irrelevant

Bumped in to Circadian sleepers few days ago.And as you said,they hunt me thru system whenever I jump,they didnt fear jump close to station.So I jump to belt,where I think I will deal with them.Suprise was that when I almost got them,they call reinforcments,I didnt know they can call for more friends O.o
Also found that unidentifiable cloacked object and bumped to it.Its definitly big enough to be station.
Also it was covered by...lighting and fizzling...like if the cloak is failing soon.
Soon we will uncover that thing I think. |

I for one hope they hire writers and enough graphic designers, preferably the ones who did WILDFIRE (awsome plot and visuals) who write a 1000 page book that we can act out.... and then update it as time goes on so that the work stays fresh. |

The topic is amazing, I don't know how much of this fits in with the current story of the Drifters and all, but it sounds very cool. I've never had the chance to do a Level 5 mission, but I've done all the epic arcs save for the Gallente one. As it is now, though, I really think I ought to do the COSMOS missions, as well.
Great idea, looking to see much inspiration come from it! More epic arcs would be absolutely amazing! |

I've added an update to the Wraith in Part 2, changing stats and bonuses (even though it's an uncertainly within the plan). Though this certainly doesn't seem like it'll be the direct course of action CCP takes (at this point), I hope it can still do well to inspire and breed discussion
