Originally by: Shassandra Hmm, let's take a real world example. I go on a plane and say "I have a bomb" what happens? One-way ticket to jail and a huge fine. I.E. an investigation occurs, just by a statement.
In Eve? I say "I'm account sharing", what happens? The powers that be (CCP/GM's) investigate simply to see "is it true or not". Why? Because that's what they're here for, making sure that the rules aren't broken and in cases they are, fix it.
So.. we agree...
Statement on forum is cause to investigation by the powers. statement on forums isn't proof of anything.
Must be the first time Sass :)

2nd time actually. We both agreed not to buy SVE (although I didn't state so publicly).
But yes. It isn't proof in itself, nothing really is except access to the accounts to see it with your own eyes as screenshots will be "manipulated" and statements will be "lies and untruths".

Kal, those 3 BPO's are not owned by EUMA. If you don't return those 3 BPO's to their rightful owner (Mung Lore), then I'm afraid that my opinion of you will drop to areas that I reserve for Escrow scammers and Currin Trading.
Do the right thing and return them if you somehow manage to get your claws into UEMA.

1. Is it a breach of the EULA to claim you have broken the EULA, while in fact, you have not?
2. How on earth is someone going to investigate account sharing?
Even a secret service would not be able to produce conclusive proof all the time without Real life observation.
3. This entire drama seems to be rooted to much in real life, and has no relation to the eve universe. Basically, our financial goon war.
4. This is nothing special Heikki, the game already had Gallente females charging for "conversation services" ;)

It depends on what state I find the UEMA assets in once I have gained control of the corporation. Mung will be kicked by tonight and a new CEO installed so until then I cannot promise anything.
If the accounts are in order I will return the BPO's to their rightful owner. Should the UEMA assets be shorter than expected - cash flow, minerals, other.. then those BPO's will be liquidated to cover any potential loss the investors will face.

Just an idle question. If you think that the books are crooked, but Mung swears on his mother's grave that he didn't do anything, is there a third party that can come in and abitrate the issue, or will it simply be Mung's word against yours?

Mungs word against mine.
If you don't like it im not concerned. Either way investors will get a minimum 75% return on their shares should we liquidate the corporation, or should we decide to continue its operations they will get dividends as normal.
On another note, Mung has now been replaced as CEO and the audit process will begin. The first step will be the removal of all current staff. Unfortunatley no severance package was specified in the contract so they will be laid off without pay.
I will post my findings in a new thread.

CCP doesn't need conclusive evidence. If they feel they have enough evidence that points to a EULA violation, they can do as they please. They can compare the IP's of the people logging into the accounts. If Cally's story is true, he is unable to log into Eve, so basically anyone logging in to that account means that Cally is accountsharing. If it so happens that anyone logs into the Cally account and transfers isk/shares to the Kal account, well, that would point to Kal having access to the Cally account.
I don't pretend to be able to do the GM's job, but I'm sure that if they think they have enough evidence, be it curcomstantial or not, they'll take appropriate action.
I'm also sure that the appropriate action will be to give some people a slap on the wrist, history has shown that CCP aren't willing to stick to their own rules when that means a lot of people are going to lose a lot of isk if they do. (SVE anyone?).
Although CCP banning some EIB management accounts, and creating an insta multi multi billion isk sink, would be the perfect ending to this soap

"He who has never logged in on someone elses account please throw the first stone."
Hacking accounts? doing something bad with someones account? punish them!
But please don't try to come here and claim you have never changed a skill for a friend, or checked his R&D agents during a vacation.
This is just an attempt to settle an in game dispute with a petition to ban your adversary.
If of course there wasn't account sharing but hacking or Kal isn't acting on Callys wishes and Cally complains about it Kal should be punished to the fullest extend.
I don't care if it is in the UELA, for someone to use it as ammo against someone you don't like is sad.
This thread starts to sicken me... just like the GF/BoB thread did.

Quote: I will be removing my self as CEO of UEMA as soon as the servers come back up in a sign of good faith to EIB to return them 3 blueprints. I will also put all remaining shares I own into the wallet of EIB OfficialUEMO.
Originally by: Mung Lore its kinda funny, you see when you run for CEO, the current CEO can't make votes, so until I can something is done about this your will have me running for CEO 23/7 365 days a year, or until I have 3 BPO's in my hands.
I assume you still have 5% of the shares and haven't returned the shares?
I wonder if running for CEO 365 days a year while the CEO has 50%+ of the shares could be considered harassment and petitioned?
Mung you do realise that the moment you don't vote immediately after the CEO vote ends, that the CEO will do a vote to kick you from corp? Seems you beat Kal today... let see who does the first vote tomorrow :)

And using countless out of game excuses and wild stories to thrawt in-game actions (i.e. your audit) to at least find the truth behind this whole situation is fair?
If Mung Lore has to use the EULA to find some sort of justice for the plight Cally/Kal has put him in then I don't see a problem tbh. Cally/Kal as deliberately used out of game excuses to thrawt any atempt at showing EIB for what it is. And now that the Cally character has lost all credibility isn't it convienient that an alt shows up, dictates to everyone that it is in sole charge of Cally's legacy and picks up the baton were Cally left it?
You've been stiched up good and proper.
I'll continue to watch this saga unfold but you'll be glad to know this will probably be my last post on the matter. Some people can't see the truth when its staring them right in the face so its pointless wasting time and energy trying to show them the light. Besides, watching it all unfold from the side-lines is much more fun. I'll reserve my LOL's for when you finally wake up and realise how well and truly you've all been shafted
Good luck with your audit.

Well, of course you can run a business in whatever manner you wish. I just wonder why you're trying to **** off as many people as possible. For a bank that relies on trust, its like shooting yourself in your own foot, or PVPing in an Interon full of Megacyte. Sure you can do it, but why would you want to?

You aren't making sense..
Either Cally = Kal, in which case they haven't broken the UELA. Or Cally != Kal, in which case the person you accuse of having out of game excuses ISN'T the one Mung is petitioning for account sharing.

Agreed. So if this is true and Cally is in fact Kal (as I firmly believe) it makes a mockery of all you people who still believed everything Kal/Cally has spoon-fed you over the last few weeks.
Originally by: EMFi Manager Or Cally != Kal, in which case the person you accuse of having out of game excuses ISN'T the one Mung is petitioning for account sharing.
Also agreed, but it also makes Mung's petition 100% valid and if the powers that be do their jobs we won't be seeing Cally/Kal for much longer since they'll be bannzored for sharing accounts.

Well, i have never logged into another guys account or had someone log into mine. And yes, i lost some skill points over time - but those are the rules.
And the situation is completely different here, you should see that. Its not that one guy changes training for another, it is that a corp is being busted and had been robbed because of account sharing. Thus the account sharing has direct effects on a third party, and while changing training might be at the border to cheating, this has imho clearly crossed the line.
UEMA (or however it is called) had been robbed and is being busted because of account sharing (so we assume - of course all those actions could have been committed by one guy, but this would clearly brand him as a scammer). This cannot be tolerated and is COMPLETELY different than changing skill training.
If a third party suffers from some players' cheats, he is well justified to use it as "ammo" to get his stuff back (and the cheaters banned while we're at it).
