My alt flies the Exequror and the Auguror, both excellent loot grabbing ships.
In terms of least used, hmmm, Imperial Apoc, Luxury Yacht? Too easy.
In terms of under-used ship. I'd go for any logistics ship.

I sell plenty of all of those, none of them seem particularly unpopular based on what I shift.
Originally by: Baldour Ngarr I'd toss Iteron into the ring as well. Almost nobody trains Gallente Industrial to level 1 and just leaves it there.
Well, not a hugely representative sample, but people do actually buy Iterons from me. I see about equal sales of Iteron and Iteron II, a bit more of III, and more of IV and V again, but those two seem to stay fairly equal.
I would look at total market numbers, but am at work now. Would be interesting to compile figures of most/least traded ships by class and region.
Originally by: Zaldiri Thing is noobs buy a lot of frigates. Even rubbish/useless firgates are often snapped up by noobs who dont realise how bad they are.
True, this might distort the market a bit. But presuming they then realise how bad the ship is, they won't buy another. If they keep buying them, they must be using them, which is all that counts here. After all, the question was which is the least used ship, not which is the least useful.
And for those opening this up to faction, unique reward ships etc, I'll take the silliness one step further: Enigma, Eidolon. ------- There is no magic Wand of Fixing, and it is not powered by forum whines. |

If you do corporate PVE nights the Augoror is a really useful ship to have in a fleet. The ability to continually transfer 30 cap/second out to 35k range is very powerful. It allows you to have a much larger margin for error when the wrong person grabs agro. I'm pretty close to a Guardian and the capabilites of that ship are incredible. The ability to continually transfer on the order of 150 cap/second out to 50k is teh bomb.

I used it for 2 or 3 jumps, then ditched it for something better. It was a horrible ship, slow and unwieldy, just as useless for transport duty as for combat. It would rightfully deserve the title of least used ship in EVE.
Eh? With nanos fitted it does 1800m/s and has a cargo capacity of 454m3. With expanders its cargo cap can exceed (just) 1k m3 and still do 900m/s.
It's very good for l3 courier missions. -- (Battle hardened miner)

I'm hoping CCP see sense and turn the Abaddon into a BS sized arby.

I actually trained Gallente Industrial only and only to level 1 on this character so that I could do small time ammo/equipment hauling .

Quote: My vote goes for the Exequror. Given the huge number of pilots who have the skill to fly it, it's about as rare as a sniping domi...
Actually, myself and most of my corpmates fly Exequerors on a daily basis. They're great level 3/4 loot ships (MWD / AB with cap rechargers in the mids, 4 x tractor beam, nanos for fast or expanders for big) -- 1000m^3 with good performance.
Of course, I also have an alt for which the best ship he can fly is the Heron (and he does, really, he does).
But to contribute to the original question... these seem rare by my book- crucifier tormentor burst procurer iteron mk 1 guardian vexor pretty much any faction frigate

I think you are wrong. I have 8 lvl 3/4 agents that I run missions for at each base I have the following: 1 punisher set for max speed (but not much cargo 125 m3), 1 Augoror set for hauling with mwd (good for 400-1000 m3), and 1 bestower set for max speed (4500 m3). I fly to each spot with my Apoc and then run missions until my hearts content. With this set of 4 ships in each spot all types of missions can be run. The Apoc handles any combat missions and the rest handle the different size cargo missions.
So do I win the prize for owning and using the most Augorors in Eve? |
