Im considering getting one, but whats the point if I cant play my favorite mmo?
Any firsthand exp? One review I read said it was playable, but the reviewer had never played it on a regular computer, so he had nothing to compare it to.

It's runs great and without a hitch on my MBP 15".
Although my PC is my prime source of Eve. It runs perfectly fine using Bootcamp and XP.

MacBooks run intergrated graphics, so dont expect any high framerates

I think the black might have a heavier molecular weight, making the notebook slightly more heavy, so naturally things will run slower.

Word of warning: The black MacBooks are just repainted white MacBooks and the paint starts to chip away quite quicly so you'd better be asking how the game actually runs on white MacBook instead of black MacBook.

Runs perfectly acceptably under Bootcamp on my 1.8ghz Mini... Was interesting to notice Transgaming mentioned in the recent DevBlogs - Wonder if they're looking at CIDER for a Mac port.

Haven't tested but by using iThinkingCapabilities I'd say it should run as fast as black and white MacBook combined.

remember that the graphics boost thats comming for eveyone (im not talking about visa client here but th normal update we are getting) will use much more graphics card cpu so it may not run well on intigrated cards.

And for the OP, you probably know this already but whatever
If EVE works on a Mac and that's the only game you'll ever play on it, then that's great. But if you intend to play other games too then you should just get a PC. Macs are usually neglected by gaming companies. And even when a Mac port is made for a game, it's usually at least a year after the original PC version comes out.
I don't mean to flame, but why are you getting one anyways? As far as i know the only reasons to get a Mac would be:
1. You regularly work with large graphics files.
2. You are not computer savvy and have no intention to be.
3. You are completely ignorant and are trying to make a fashion statement.
If you just hate Microsoft, get Linux.

Im writing this on my black macbook, bought it 3 weeks ago, I have paralells running for windows XP (works perfectly) and I only use the XP environment for a few games I play and I dont feel hampered in any way by that. For your other comments they are ridiculous, im a computer programer and I there are products available for the mac os X that are not available for windows at this time as well this is a new operating system and it shows (xp is 5 years old) and I didnt have the patience to wait for vista (wich I suspect will run anyway on my macbook).
I dont work with large graphic files, I am computer savvy and I intend to continue that, and even though I love the look of my black macbook there is no fashion statement involved.
As for hating windows, I work at a company where we support numerous large corporations and companies that run their systems entirerly on windows and other Microsoft related products so my income is dependant on liking and working with Microsoft products and as such I didnt purchase this computer because I hate Windows and Ive no intention on choosing Linux just because it's not windows.
I suggest you go and check out the mac if your intent on bashing it, at least then you can bash it with intelligent and non-ignorant points.
