Here is a chat log of a somthing that happened a few weeks ago between CA and evol and has continued to happen ever since to the point were all Curse Alliance pilots are encouraged not to engage Evol under any conditions due to blatent bug exploitation of grid and ctd bugs.
So remember when engaging evolution there is a very good chance they will abuse bugs against you and use extreme caution and allways submit exploitation reports when things happen with these guys.
Now not all of there players are cheating but it ahppens allmost constnatly so i feel as a rep of Sinister and the eve community you deservered to know whats going on.

Is it me or is there a direct correlation between the amount of ships CA have lost (and seemingly struggling to replace) and the number of exploit accusations they are making?

There was a GM present, he investigated, he concurred there was no grid exploits being used, and you persist with these claims?

[ 2003.09.28 19:13:32 ] GM Sw00sh > There's no way for me to verify if there is some "grid exploiting" going on. Not even if there is an exploit or a bug. The best thing you can do is to send screenshots and logservers to the devs.
[ 2003.09.28 19:26:17 ] GM Sw00sh > i've orbited the group of battleships of around 80-110km, and they never missed my sight
[ 2003.09.28 19:38:48 ] GM Sw00sh > Well, i can agree on them that there is lag when warping to you guys, around 10 bships and 40 drones, but that can't be called stragety or an exploit.

Read the link..... Swoosh was there an spotted it, but apparently couldn't do anything about it.... But since when does CCP every fix anything nowadays? They only change it an it acts up differently. Or not quite as bad.....
So screw you an saying it's an accusation, we had a GM there backing us.

Probably they can even format CA member's computers during a battle so they can win even easyer.
Also be carefull... one can never be sure if there is an EVOL working for the Income Revenue Service and he CTDs yer Tax Declaration, making yer life a livin hell!
And always have candles at home for emergencies, since u never know when an EVOL decides to CTD half a country's power supply grids just to win a battle with CA

As with all claims of exploiting, nobody will believe anyone until a GM/Dev posts on the thread.
AFAIK, grids expand and contract during uptime (resetting during downtime) and are hard to judge.
Evol could well have scouted that spot while the grid was expanded but then used it while the grid was contracted.
I've seen it often in asteroid belts in Stain.
I have often warped to 70km away from the crescent of rocks at a certain belt in a good system and not suffered from grid blindness.
I could try it after downtime and move only 30km before I get grid blindness.

supe is one of those newbies, crying because his side fails at eve.
we cant win vs evol *wah wah* *squirt squit*... (CA BRAIN FART) OH I KNOW, LETS SAY THAT THE REASON WE DONT FIGHT THEM IS CUS THEY CHEAT @ EVE. THAT WAY WE WON'T LOOK LIKE THE WEAKLINGS WE ARE!!!!1

by the way supe, you master of strawberry shortcake, your whole campaign kinda fails hardcore simply because the ppl within CA(that you claim have been warned that evol OMFG OBVIOUS exploits) are coming forward speaking up for evolution, saying that we do not exploit.

Homo stop smoking all that ****. When did he say they weren't exploiting.
Swoosh said it was a bug, not an exploit but everyone knows a bug that is abused is an exploit, so um Swoosh was on something too.
Anyways. He saw the "bug" in quesntion, an Supe was warning people not to fight Evol if this continues to happen.

Do i need to remind people that those funny CA guys showed tomb a DIFFERENT location? They got wasted at the jump in point, they showed tomb the gate which is indeed located at a border between 2 grids.
GM Swoosh checked the jump in location and said it was ok. Tomb checked the gate and fixed it cause it needed fixing.
Evolution does not cheat cause we do not need to cheat. Enough said.

i really like evols new lame approach. i really encourage everyone to not enagage them atm this is what they are doing.
They will have 1 person camping a gate with lots of warp scramblers and energy neutralizers. You will warp in thinking..."oh only one person" and youll engage. You CTD. Hmmmmm. I guess it might not be those warp scramblers and e.n.s. So yeah you CTD and you try and log back on. Your screen loads and you are in your clone station. No they are not taking after David Blaine, but heres whats happening. While you are scrambling to log back in, the rest of the Evol ships convieniently logged off at the gate log back in and destroy you. Can you say lame?

You need at least 2 ships with neutralizers using them on one target for that target to CTD. At least that¦s how it was when we did the last test.

Edited by: HavokTBP on 13/10/2003 22:39:36 Lol, an what exactly is an exploit????? I mean hell n00bs said Sin/m0o an Rus exploited all the time. Were they exploiting or just using a bug to it's advantage.
Love how you guys are changing the meaning, an circumstances around. It's only a exploit if used on you huh? Otherwise it's just a bug?

hmm...
thinking about it I just realised that actually, EvE isn¦t that much different to CS or any other shooter. One party wins, the other looses, then someone screams 'cheat' or whatever and from that moment on you can see the huge fireball of flames from a 20km distance growing steadily
