Verone is a carebear. I have to listen to his whiney ass voice everyday. All he talks about is running agent missions, mining, escrows. This is on his alt. No one ever sees the actuall char Verone undock. If you did, something is wrong.

Id have to say niobe , most ppl say verone or ikvar but ikvar in merc coalition now he doesnt pirate anymore , verone well im sure he might be good but how many ppl met him , niobe on other hand , i know and he keeps doiing his thing wich is in the the true sense of pirating killing ppl while losing no ship ever .

No offense to the current crop of pirates but I dont think you live up to the standards of your Predecessors.
Verone is a nice bloke and will always be a mate but havent fought him to tell u his combat abilities. But he is prob the most famous these days (forum *****  )
As for old school then Cro Ramel, Zarquon, M0o guys, Tinuk, USA4, Carthago the list goes on...

Verone, well Verone used to touch a friend of mine, nuff said.
I went hunting for Tank CEO a few years back, but i couldnt lock him down(nothing to do with stabs tho, he was just a crafty bastard trying to stay alive)
As for mixy, i have to give it to the old ASS crew, they killed me first and made me ****e in my pants the first proper battle we had  My Raven went down so fast...
But after flying with him, hes a cool guy.so

Just LOL, The above named players are no offence... nobodies. Malka I liked in the beginning because his posts where amusing. Then after seeing his Tower Shield crap that he was sticking on his poor Prophecy all respect was lost.
Oh that and they suck, And No I haven't been ganked by them

There are so few pirates who engage in solo ship vs ship these days - and those are the only ones I can respect. It's very hard to show any love for blob gankers and WCS-***** snipers.
So, only four come to mind:
- Handon Guild
- Slarti
- Skywalker (he blobs often but has no qualms about solo)
- tiller (see Skywalker)
The rest won't even try engage unless they have backup of 6 or 7 corp-mates. True piracy, to be fair, is all about the sure thing (don't engage unless you're sure you can win). But for the 'fearsome dread pirate' I only fear the guys who have real solo ability.

If you fly a stabbabond you automatically disqualify yourself from consideration.
The only pirate that causes any "fear" is ign0ramus and thats just because he is flying a 30bn isk mothership that you have exactly zero chance to kill.
The rest I have ever seen are not better or worse or much different to your average alliance gank squad IMO.

YARR! As for the "Zero chance to kill" comment tho, I can't say ASCN has really stood its ground and fought against it. (you had a chance once where you all legged it and left your mate in a Navy mega to die)
