I have never met the chap but surely Ginger Magician must be a great pirate judging by the slatings he gets on these forums!
He seems to have loads of bitter enemies - presumably most of them victims. Various peeps claim to have killed him and in the same breath claim he had six or seven stabs fitted. How did they catch him I wonder?

Tank CEO has already proved to be one of the most dominated pirates in the history of EVE, because hes been away for some time (inactive) doesnt mean he is forgotten. There ae only a handful of pilots who made "pirating" something in eve, not some dude who all of a sudden decides to be a pirate.

I'd mark gank gangers and gate campers off the list. The ones to worry about are the those that pirate solo 100% of the time. As far as who actually is the most dread pirate..... well It's most likely someone that is only known by those he killed. Notority is all that can count here.
I Have to give my vote to a corp not a single player... M0o gets it. No Idea what happen to these guys but I feared the corp and never even got to see one of them.

Hes also quite handy at losing them
I lost 2 Dreads, the last one was 3 days ago.
I was playing with CVA's, letting them pound me, while i was waiting to see if they had any capital ship backups.
I didn't fire a single shot during 5+ minutes, so they got a cheap kill there.
The last loss was the worste one, since i was unable to activate armor repairers or dock (although i got docking request text), this was because of lag issues and occured at the same day CCP announced on the news that there was network problems. So im hoping to get the dread back through my petitetion.

Dreaded pirate nowadays... I'd say Ign0ramus. Doesn't need much explaining if you know what he does.
Overall... Verone, Tank , Lifewire. Some come across as bit too nice guys to qualify as dreaded , just funny guys who like their shooty shooty.

Also what part of "No wussy gatesniping" did you miss? Nearly every other pirate named in this thread got their fame through continous self advertisment and massive amount of gatesniping.
I'm truly sorry that you'll take infamy over actual skill, but that's not my problem.

Most dreaded I don't know.
Most (in)famous, probably Tank on sheer notoriety.
Most creative / funny, I'd have to say Viceroy, though Verone seems to be a worthy heir.
Jexter & fist were legendary pilots with the proper pirate RP to boot.
There are a lot more worth mentioning, old F-E, SPVD, Zombies, TDG, Teddies, Snigg, Spang, DNA, Sinister, and, of course, m0o, and I'm probably forgetting a lot.

If anyone even thinks Malka was a dreaded pirate end your self its embarasing to the comunity.
Before my post turns into a flame i`ll explain alittle..
Malka at first made some ok'ish points and guides for noobs and admitingly he was reasonably useful until his tower setup rubbish which was just someone else's setup with a different name.
Ingame I never saw the guy in anything more than a punisher killing/ransoming the odd t1 cruiser etc nothing to be dreaded about tbh.
RHN werent good either when confronted with equal numbers they fell apart (logging in/working together) and i`ll never forgive armageddon or your other members for their logofski's in combat
