We've not yet explored how the sudden appearance of the Sleeper's caches in k-space tie in.
The structures you find in the deadspace pocket are all damaged. The gigantic structure meant to keep the cache cloaked has been wilfully .. well.. blapped seems a good term if you look at the size of the hole that's been ripped in it. Though from weapons/sources unknown.
The storage structures when you get inside have all also been either damaged, or are described as being raked through, gone over in a hurried search for something.
Do we have any idea who or what would have the resources and the motivation to do this?
Why would the Sleepers care one way or the other what the rest of lesser-developed humanity has been up to to the point they start collecting the crap we make?
We know the architects and sleepers are sub-factions of what we call the Jove, architects being the progenitors of gate travel, sleepers providing the theory and from what you can surmise from the blue loot they drop, the drive to get out of the New Eden cluster to somewhere else. Perhaps back to Earth. Maybe just into Anoikis.
If the Sleepers were escaping a vengeful Jove Empire for their misguided attempt to pull the entire civilsation into VR though, how do the Talocan figure?
Sleeper structures are entwined with Talocan ones, everything in W-space points to some kind of outbreak/containment/cultural exchange going on but I've seen nothing in any lore, or novel to explain where they fit in to this. Maybe they assisted the Sleepers in containing the Jovian disease (as opposed to the Sleepers creating/forcing it on the Jove) but then, why would Garious be against them? And if the Jove are against the Sleepers why the **** would the SOE turn the capsuleers against them?
Personally I haven't the faintest scooby doo wtf is going on but I can't wait to find out.

BREAKING NEWS - CONCORD's Directive Enforcement Department has released a revised security alert for CZ-06R, a constellation in the outer region of Oasa. I read that- and from what we can see so far, it seems like the Sansha are becoming aware of something going on with the wormhole tech they use. If the sleepers are assuming direct control of them (I'm almost positive now that those beacons and urns on the sleeper ships are wormhole generators) than they have a it of trouble in their future too- things are about to heat up big time

So what are the chances Sansha getting stranded on the wormholes when their tech refuses to work and incursions get replaced with Sleepers wrecking **** and taking over systems if they're not driven out?

I've been playing in Photoshop as well, but nothing better or worse that what has been supplied already.
It looks like a Paladin is orbiting or parked very close to whatever is cloaked. I realize that there is no real way to determine scale, as forced perspective is pretty easily accomplished in 2D images. That being said, I don't think we're looking at a station or a ship. My guess is this is a Sleeper POS.
It would make sense for Sleeper POS to not have a shield bubble, as their ships are not shield tanked at all, why would their structures be? Maybe the trade off, will be they can be anchored anywhere in space, and you can dock in them, but they can cloak? Or maybe they can only be anchored in Shattered Wormholes? Who knows.
I dig the effort and puzzle though. |

Would actually be pretty hilarious if Incursions got removed from the game to support the storyline. Would be even better if they were replaced by Sleeper-style sites that need to be salvaged and looted instead of handing out LP.
