From what I hear they were actually filming this one on Sisi. The thought of an EVE trailer actually containing gameplay is a little more then I can handle right now. |

Seems kinda pointless to release a trailer for something after the thing itsself is allready out.
I mean we get the new patch tomorrow supposedly. I see no signs of a video yet.... |

The trailer isn't necessarily for us who already play, it's for the people who might join or come back after losing interest.

Aside from the odd 3rd overlay, one very implausible BS weapon, and one cinematic cap ship/station intersection the vast majority of CCP's trailer footage is done within the game engine.
Captured at super high res? Of course.
Staged and orchestrated? Sure.
All game trailers are. But very little of what we see in those trailers is not something that you cannot see in game if you put your mind to it.

yes, this. but only after TQ is finalized to v3 in all it's glory. that is some time yet... hopefully by 2013.
perhaps CCP is going to release the crucible trailer during DT.
Manifest said earlier the trailer might come after the crucible launch. I'm keeping an eye out for it

Whatever it is, just so long as there aren't scenes of impairors in fleets of Amarr, again. Someone must really like that design and not know that it is a noobship. If that influential person likes the design so much then swap it with the Tormentor or Crucifier. |
